I am delighted with the care and attention all the staff have shown to my mother. I know that she can be difficult, but only a kind manner and attentive service and help have been given to her. Her room is lovely. We are delighted.

I made two visits to New Day Nursing Home before requesting a place for my mother; management was eager to show me around, spend time with me, explain procedures and answer questions. The staff are friendly and helpful. MEals are punctual and plentiful, and staff help patients to eat if required. The room is of adequate size with sufficient storage. My mother's medical and care needs are met in an empathetic way.

Our dad was taken into Newday for end-of-life care in November last year. Within a couple of days, the fabulous team had Dad up and out of bed and eating and drinking. The staff are 'Angels, each and every one of them. We can't thank them enough for the care and support shown not only to Dad but our family too. Thanks to them we were given an extra 9 months with our precious Dad. It was so comforting knowing Dad was in safe hands. We would have no reservations about recommending Newday Nursing Home to anyone. Thank you.

Members of staff are always very helpful and considerate to the needs of the families whose loved ones are residents at New Day, they also appear to treat all residents with diligence and respect, all in all I’m more than happy with the service at New Day.

My wife is a patient at New Day Nursing Home for 3 years. I cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful care my wife gets. When I get home after visiting my wife, I don’t have to worry because I know that she is in safe hands. Once again thanks to all the wonderful staff at New Day Nursing Home.

When I first came here it was because of a very traumatic experience and I did not want to be in a home of any description. The staff here made me feel very welcome and cared for me in a very dignified manner. They took care of my medical issues accordingly. The food was really good and there was plenty of choice. Activities are available. I am now really happy here and feel very safe. I would describe it as a "home" within a home. All the staff are respectful to me.

A friendly nursing home which is very dementia aware and skilled. Staff are approachable and supportive of residents and their family visitors. The nursing staff are reliable and professional. The nursing home cater for my vegetarian diet.

New Day Nursing Home has been amazing. They're really helpful and very clean, 'food is great’ and nurses and carers are always there for you. Mom has been really happy since she’s moved into New Day Nursing Home.

Our neighbour has recently had to go into care, suffering with dementia. Like so many people going through this terrible disease, he is being cared for at a local care home, New Day Nursing Home. The staff there are excellent and they held a special event to introduce the new manager. There was a raffle and I won first prize - a chocolate hamper. I re-raffled the hamper to raise money for the home and they were so grateful. We couldn’t ask for better staff to look after him, from all of his family and friends, we all want to say a massive thank you.

My mother has been at New Day Nursing Home for almost 2 years and during this time the staff have treated her with compassion and kindness. They listen and respond attentively to her and as a family member they have always been very friendly and welcoming. The staff keep you informed and encourage family in their activity days/celebrations - I couldn't be happier with how mom is treated and would highly recommend this home. Thank you so much to all the staff at New Day - you're fantastic!

Myself and family are so thankful that our mom is in this care home. The care is excellent, she is looked after really well. The management and staff are so warm, caring and welcoming, always having time to ask you if all is ok, do we want a tea or coffee, and how we are. We are so content and happy in ourselves, we could not ask for a more caring and understanding team. God bless you all.

My brother has been here for over five years he is safe and comfortable. The staff are great. They have many social events over the year involving family members Easter, Spring, Summer, Christmas and birthday events. Lovely staff always hardworking. Thanks guys.

My wife took up residence at New Day in October following a long spell at home with me as her carer, two long stays in two different hospitals, falls, broken bones, serious infections and significantly, advanced dementia all of which had left her immobile, physically unstable and very withdrawn - she seemed to be very frightened. New Day is an old Victorian building, which I remember from my youth as a Maternity Home, and it lacks the smoked glass, stainless steel and polished oak facade of the modern-day version, however, what matters - the standard of TLC, kindness, respect, dignity and professional nursing - is of a standard that most care home residents can only dream about. Within a few weeks, my immobile, physically unstable and withdrawn wife was interacting with staff and other residents, laughing, dancing and singing and obviously enjoying the community spirit of the place. What a joy to see her like that - thank you New Day for all that you do - Marvellous!

I would recommend this home to anyone. My mother went into New Day Nursing Home about 4 weeks ago and my god, my whole family can see a big change in my mother. Lovely clean home. The staff are brilliant they always keep me up to date with everything. The management is great, activities great. I feel better now my mum is safe and secure.

Staff at New Day are always willing to help us and always treat residents with respect and dignity. Always update us with all information regarding our brother, especially due to Covid. Alwats welcoming when we go to see him, they always ask if we have any questions and always answer honestly, and if necessary, will take us into private rooms.

All the staff at New Day Nursing Home are very conscientious, they work extremely hard looking after the residents, always respectful of their needs. They treat the residents as family and make them feel happy and safe.

From mum's first day at New Day Nursing Home to today the 1st March 2022, mum has received top care from all the staff. The overall standard is excellent. Mum has always been treated with dignity by both staff and management. I am informed of every detail of mum's care when I am at home and updated every week. I really do believe that I could not have placed mum in a better environment, it is so comforting to know that mum is receiving the very best care every day. Thank you.

Myself and family are so thankful that our mom is in this care home. The care is excellent, she is looked after really well. I would recommend this home to anyone. My mother went into New Day Nursing Home about 4 weeks ago and my god, my whole family can see a big change in my mother. Lovely clean home.
