View Full Details of The Beaufort Care HomeThe overall improvement is outstanding. The staff seem more responsible. I was not at all happy when my wife was admitted with general situations. Thank you for upgrading in all respects. Apart from food quality, this was always excellent.
My husband is looked after well and I am kept informed about issues when I visit or by phone. On visiting, I am always welcomed by whichever member of staff is opening the door. They show interest in me as well as my husband. The atmosphere is always happy. The carers are always busy and often under great pressure but remain pleasant and courteous. My husband is now settled in and generally happy staying here.
Very good.
In the 3 years my husband has been in the care he has been treated with dignity and understanding as at times he can be quite difficult, overall I am happy with his care.
The staff are always welcoming and show care to all. The home is always clean and tidy.
My mum has been at The Beaufort for some time but I can honestly say that over the last few year the home has been brilliant. From a proactive leader in the home manager and brilliant admin staff that always greet you with a smile, but most importantly are the carers that look after my mum. Always so cheerful and happy to attend to my mum. Always the same staff to provide continuity in care. They are so aware of my mum's needs and situation and I always feel she gets holistic care to meet all her needs. The kitchen staff always try and provide personalised meals to accommodate my mum and a daily menu is available for all the residents. I always feel I can approach the staff and I'm listened to with any concerns. The home is warm and friendly and I would recommend anyone to trust their loved ones to be cared for at The Beaufort.
The manager, nurses and care staff went out of their way to look after Mum who went into the home for a short stay. Thank you for looking after her so well. We are very grateful.
My mum stayed in this nursing home for the last three months and passed away last week. We can’t thank the manager and her team enough for the care and dedication they gave to Mum, especially over the last few weeks. The manager constantly fought the battle on our behalf to make sure my mum got on the right medication to ease her pain. You can see the staff are all working hard to improve the home and it’s lovely now to see the daytime activities growing with the lady's perseverance. Mum loved all that. Thanks once again, Mum was definitely in the best place at the end.
The manager, nurses and all staff are caring and compassionate people. You can tell they genuinely want to make Beaufort a lovely place for their residents to live. Nothing is ever too much trouble and frequently ask me how they can make my mum happy and contented. Since the new manager started there has been a huge improvement in the feel of the home. They offer lots of activities for the residents and try to get as many as able, to join in. All the time there is close monitoring of residents' health by the nurses. All in all it's a friendly happy environment and they take lots of pleasure in seeing happy residents. My mum has dementia and I have seen a massive improvement in her mental state because of the dedication of the staff. I'd like to thank each and every one of them from the bottom of my heart. They have also supported me when I've struggled emotionally. I can't praise them enough. They are currently making a lovely bar for the residents for celebratory occasions.
Since the manager has been managing the care home (taken over from the previous manager), I feel there is a much better feel to the home. More assertive staff and smells better! Now there is another manager, she is absolutely brilliant and this home deserves a higher rating.
So pleased to see the carpet, which was very smelly and soiled, has been removed from my friend's room and replaced with lovely laminate flooring. It looks and smells so much fresher. Well done to the new manager.
My mother came to The Beaufort Care Home in April, and I have nothing but good things to say about it and the staff. My mother was treated with dignity and respect and nothing was too much trouble, she was only a resident there for 3 months but the staff very quickly warmed to her. Many thanks from all the family.
Very friendly staff. The manager has been so helpful with advice. I have seen a massive improvement in my mum's health.
My mother is looked after well. She had a stroke and the carers are very careful with her, looking after all her needs. It is like being at home. Her room feels cosy with her own things.
During lockdown, the care of my nan has been exceptional. The team have worked so hard for us to keep contact throughout, working extra hours during this difficult time. Contact with family is so important for my nan's mental health so the fact that a clear line of communication has been maintained has been great.
What a fabulous place! My father is very poorly and they went all out for his birthday, fabulous staff. We had a buffet, cake, balloons. All done by the home without request. Such amazing people! Activity coordinator is probably one of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life! We will remain friends forever.
My friends birthday party staff put on an excellent buffet and made lovely chocolate and strawberry cake too well impressed. Staff were so nice taking photo's and leading the happy birthday sing-song. A big thank you to all the staff involved.
So welcoming and friendly. Thoughtful laid on a sandwich buffet and made an amazing chocolate and strawberry birthday cake for my ex-husband on his 73rd Birthday. Highly recommend.
Beaufort is not a care home but a home that cares. Staff showed care and compassion to mum over the two years she lived at Beaufort but in particular, the last five days of mum's life were such a difficult time but helped by the wonderful staff who cared for mum and supported her family. Thank you all.
Had a lovely afternoon with our Mum, family and friends in Coventry. The Activities Coordinator did a great job organising the food and entertainment.
