My mom has been a resident at Dovedale Court for a few years, firstly on residential and latterly on nursing. All the staff have always been respectful, loving and caring of not just my mom's needs but those of mine and my family. Over the past few weeks, my mom has been cared for on nursing end-of-life care. The staff have been truly amazing at this difficult time ensuring that my mom was loved, cared for and comfortable until the end of her life. They also made sure that our wishes were met, and are more like a family to us. I wouldn't have wished for a better place for my mom to spend her final days in a lovely caring place. Can't comment highly enough. Thank you!

My aunt was treated with dignity and respect. The staff were amazing dealing with my aunt's needs. I couldn't thank them enough. I would recommend this home.

My mom has come on so well since she has been a resident at Dovedale Court Care Home it is lovely to see her happy settled and well cared for after some bad experiences with other care homes. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Her bedroom is always clean and tidy. The meals are really nice and all the other residents seem happy and content. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home to anyone.

My father has only been with Dovedale a short time but he has improved massively. All the staff are amazing and always going above and beyond. The management are very approachable and always willing to help. The standards of the care home are fantastic and I am glad my dad has managed to get a room here. Thank you all so much.

Our parents spent two years at this establishment and we found it to be very clean and excellently managed. This home is not a place where a resident has behavioural dementia. I feel the home needs to clearly state this in order for persons to be assessed properly and not get moved 2 1/2 years into their time there, but overall it's run well.

All the staff (kitchen, cleaners, nursing and carer) are very pleasant and nice to talk to. They all work hard and looking after the elderly is a very difficult job. All of the mom's carers are very nice and do a good job and work so hard as do all the carers. Please pass our thanks and gratitude on to the carers as they are an asset to your company are are appreciated.

Very good facilities and the staff are excellent and loving to my mother even though she could be rude and hurtful, food-wise. My mother was on a soft diet, and although on a soft diet, thought the choices should still have been more varied. The bedroom is clean and tidy however needs a bit of love and attention (decoration). Overall good with excellent carers. God Bless.

My mother has recently been on end of life and was admitted to Dovedale Court. The care and support has been excellent. The staff are all friendly and very helpful in any way. The managers nurses and staff are all professional and have the right balance of looking after all the people that they care for. The admin has always time for you if you need anything. Dovedale Court has a welcoming environment and treats everyone they look after as a family. We can't thank all the staff enough for looking after us, especially mom

Since Mom's admission to Dovedale Court for assessment and subsequent residency, I have been more than satisfied with her treatment and care. That Mom has settled into life in the community of Dovedale is testimony to the dedication and hard work of all the staff, without exception. As a visitor, it is a pleasure to be there and I can leave safe in the knowledge that Mom is being looked after to the best of everyone's ability. Mom herself is settled and content. Thank you everyone.

My aunt was cared for at Dovedale Court. She was very well looked after with her end-of-life care. With the most love and dignity we could have asked for. We thank all of the team for their care and support through this difficult time.

My mam has been a resident at Dovedale Court since February 2024. She is very happy here and settled in quickly. Every member of staff is so helpful and kind, they are 100% caring carers and love their jobs. Communication is excellent, I always know how Mam's been every day and throughout the night. She loves the food, the meals are varied and nutritious, and there are always plenty of activities. I can't recommend Dovedale Court enough. My mam is safe, happy, clean and well cared for.

Our mom spent her end-of-life care here after leaving the hospital. We instantly felt a warm, caring, happy environment as we first entered the home. Every staff member was kind, loving, professional and relatable. We were very happy Mom spent her last weeks in this home, it gave us much-needed peace of mind. In her last hours, we were talked through the process, provided with food, drinks and emotional support. The management and staff here are excellent and we thank you all for the love and care extended to Mom and her daughters.

The care and support for my Father has been 1st class. The friendliness of the staff and their excellent response times have been such a reassurance to the family. The managers, nursing and caring staff have the right balance between professionalism and the personal touch in my opinion. For someone who would only eat his Wife's food to say how good the meals are is the highest compliment. The room and communal areas are kept very clean. This is an excellent all-round 'caring and supportive home' and you all deserve credit. A big Thank You.

Mom was recently put on end-of-life care as of end of January. Myself and several family members stayed over through the night and day, the staff were amazing went above and beyond supporting us as a family and of course Mom. Offering us meals every mealtime, spare room to sleep in, and just general care and concern for us all. Mom was always kept comfortable, repositioned and changed on a regular basis, Mom has made a miraculous recovery and is improving every day, we've even had the kitchen staff come and see me to see how we would prefer her food, what and when we should give her as not a lot of appetite at the minute.

The manager and all the wonderful staff at Dovedale arranged a party for my father-in-law on Saturday 18th November to celebrate his 90th Birthday (20/11/23). All the family cannot thank everyone enough. It was fabulous and such a joyous occasion. They certainly pulled out all the stops and thought of everything to make his 90th Birthday so special. Once again a great big humongous thank you. Your kindness will never be forgotten by all of us.

I am very happy with the care, attention and love shown to my mom. Nothing is too much trouble for anything I request for Mom. The management have been really attentive to Mom's needs. Always there when you need to talk. All staff take a personal interest, not only in my mom but in all residents which I have observed. Staff really care about family members too. I couldn't think of anywhere else I would like my mom to be cared for! A very big thank you to all staff.

Wonderful care home. Staff are very friendly helpful and kind, nothing is too much trouble. They have treated Mom and our family with great respect and kept us up to date with our mom's care. Excellent choice of care home. Staff and manager are a credit to the care home. Would recommend the care home and have supported us.
