View Full Details of Richmond Court Nursing HomeMy mom has been in Richmond Court Nursing Home for just over a year. She has settled very well, I have no concerns for her. The staff are very good and helpful. I am very happy with the service.
My brother was transferred directly from the hospital to Richmond Court Nursing Home. He was only there for a short time (a matter of weeks) until he passed. The staff showed great compassion and looked after him diligently as his health deteriorated. The care he received from all the staff was outstanding. They treated him with great dignity through his final weeks. They kept the family as a whole informed and were always available for us when we needed information regarding his condition.
My father is happy and well cared for at Richmond Court Nursing Home. We have regular family meetings, where we can ask questions or raise concerns, and staff tell us about things that are happening at the nursing home. It is also good to meet and make friends with other families. We are invited to all social events to be with our loved ones. Which we thoroughly enjoy
All staff are pleasant, very helpful and make residents plus visitors welcome. The building is slowly improving. It's just unfortunate everything my parent had to work all their life for has had to be sold for their 24 hour care and support.
My Father was initially extremely difficult upon arriving here from another residential home. Relevant medical/mental health teams were contacted and support was put in place. Dad is now settled and I am more at ease. The staff are polite, happy, caring and kind, understanding my father's needs. The manager is always available and attends to any issues and knows her residents.
The staff are excellent, with the equipment, they have to deal with. Always polite and helpful and so patient and calm with whom they have to deal with but too long hours for them!
On behalf of my family, I would like to give a tremendous gratitude-filled thank you to all the staff at Richmond Court Nursing Home, for the dedicated loving care they provided to my mother. My mother moved to RCNH in 2021, she had full mental ability but due to a deteriorating osteoarthritis, she lost mobility and was bed-bound. The home ensured she had regular seated sessions during the day, which was good for her posture and made meal times much easier. They maintained her hygiene and was always well dressed, often they would make her wear nice clothing and even paint her nails and provide subtle make-up to cheer her up. My mother always referred to the staff as her new family and always expressed to all family members not to worry about her, as she was happy and content here. We did not live too far from the home and would visit on a regular basis, but the home still called us, if they had any concerns, just to give us peace of mind. Thank you for her precious final care.
Richmond Court Nursing Home exceeded all expectations. My dad arrived, and I was very anxious. My dad received amazing care and was well looked after. They were on top of his physical health and got him to the hospital promptly. Two members of staff were amazing and friendly; they were all professional and patient with my dad. The manager was very helpful and supportive. Happy with everything. Thank you, everybody.
Staff are very caring and are aware of the needs both of residents and relatives. The residents are treated calmly and with dignity. Staff make sure the residents are comfortable and are very sympathetic to them and their relatives. Staff keep relatives informed by phone/email.
The staff are very caring, always made sure my aunt has what she needs and they will always check on her well-being, making sure she is okay in herself. At mealtimes, they will always assist her with feeding. I also feel that is excellent how they treat her so nicely. The staff are all amazing but I would like to give a special mention to the staff nurse who always goes out of her way to attend to Aunty.
My mom was in this care home for 2 and a half years she had dementia. We were all worried about how she would be as she was always a person who loved her home and family so we really didn’t think she would settle but we shouldn’t of worried. She loved it and soon felt at home and found an extra family (the staff). They treated her so good nothing, was too much trouble for them and to be honest she could be trying at times, but they never ever lost patience with her. They are amazing, not only to Mom but to us all too. Always had time to talk and help us understand what was happening at every stage of her illness. Sadly she passed away in June this year and the end-of-life care she received from there was second to none. They really are amazing and go above and beyond and do way more than they are paid for it. Definitely could do with some money spent on the building but the care that’s received you wouldn’t get anywhere else. We will always be so grateful to them all. Thank you.
Very helpful staff. The place is clean everyone there has a caring attitude. No complaints at all. The rooms were clean. Happy with physio input. Choice of food was good. The nursing care was excellent and everyone was approachable.
My husband has been looked after very well by all the hardworking staff in Richmond Court Nursing Home. He is very safe and the care staff do everything to ensure he is well-fed and happy. He takes part in activities and seems to enjoy them.
Staff are very caring always welcoming to visitors, very efficient, and always call me if there is anything I need to know. Mom has been here for over 2 years and is well cared for and is in good health.
The staff were caring towards me on my visit, as was the care for my mother. Everything was clean although dated, the only thing I would say would be a TV/Radio in the room as when the door is closed it seems very isolated.
We cannot recommend Richmond Court enough since my aunt has been there she has come on leaps and bounds from her previous bad experience at a independent living facility, all the staff that work there are wonderful, and take their time to make sure everyone is treated with the upper most respect and dignity. We constantly receive photos or videos or video calls on a regular basis of the fun and interactive activities that all the residents are enjoying themselves you can see the wonderful smiles on everyone's faces. With communication, there has never been an issue between ourselves and Richmond Court the phone is always answered within a few rings or we can contact them via WhatsApp or Facebook as well.
