View Full Details of Anville Court Care HomeAfter my uncle was diagnosed with a brain tumour in November 2024 it was advised that he should go into a care home facility. Anville Court couldn't have been more caring and treated him with care and the dignity he deserved. Held his hand when he felt low and frightened and were always there to listen to his needs, can't recommend Anville Court enough. A massive thank you to all the staff.
I've filled this review in a true and honest way as I have found all the staff from the manageress to be happy and very helpful to me in all things considering my wife. I can't help but to give them all my highest regards as they have all been more than helpful to me and my wife and I say God bless to them all.
Couldn't be happier with everything. The staff are angels, so glad that he can be here. A big thank you.
My father has been in Anville Court for several weeks now, since the moment he arrived he has been treated with the greatest of care, nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff, they are all amazing from the reception staff to the nursing and carer teams and of course, the home manager. The nurses and carers have the greatest amount of patience with him even when he is being difficult, they look after him extremely well and take care of all his needs to the highest standards. Not only do they look after the residents but they also are very caring towards us as a family, we are always made to feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble. My mother visits most days and is made to feel very welcome with the warm family feeling that Anville Court gives, I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Excellent care home with good food, and clean and pleasant rooms. The care staff could not be better and all work with smiles on their faces. The management is first class and could not be more helpful in sorting out any problems.
Mom moved to Anville Court after a hospital stay. I can't praise the staff, carers, cooks, cleaners, receptionists - managers and nurses enough - always welcomed on arrival, and offered refreshments many times. My Dad was helped with ordering taxis. Mom settled in well. They catered to her needs, with no complaints from the family.
Mum moved here at the start of August for palliative care, it was without a doubt the best place she could have been in. To give others the care of your loved one is not easy to do but the staff here are incredible. They care so much for their residents. The meals Mum had were restaurant quality and if there wasn't anything she fancied on the menu then another meal would be cooked for her. We dined with her for Sunday lunch and it was very special to be made to feel so welcome. Mum sadly passed away and the care that was given to us during her final days was incredible. The staff were genuinely upset to see Mum go as they had grown so fond of her in such a short space of time. I am so glad that my mum was safe, well looked after and loved by the staff that we were able to know that when we weren't with her she was in very safe hands. We as her family thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Caring and kindness epitomise my experience of Anville Court. This permeates the ethos of all the staff, including (and especially) the housekeeping staff. Prompt action responding to health concerns is very reassuring. I feel that Mum is safe and well looked after, by people who care for her. I am very grateful to them all and wish I were allowed to name and thank them here.
A lovely clean care home. Very pleasant staff. Family member's room always fresh clean and tidy. If ever there is a problem it's dealt with as soon as possible. I give it 100% for value. Always a pleasure to see Mom with friendly staff.
Although my mother was reluctant to engage with anyone during her first weeks in Anville Court with staff encouragement she has begun to get involved in activities. The staff have been very patient and understanding during this time. Consequently, my mother has begun to enjoy her time in care. Thank you.
Our brother was only with Anville Court a short time (approx 4 months) but was treated very well by all staff as if he was a brother to all of them. His care was always a priority, his meals very well thought out. He was always kept clean as his toilet needs being incontinent. His room always kept immaculate. We felt it was an excellent experience for all the family to see how he had such caring care. Many thanks to all.
I have been visiting Auntie for a few months and have found staff very helpful and pleasant considering the demands they have! The surroundings are lovely and everything is clean and tidy. They entertain the residents most of the day involving them in gardening too.
I find all the staff very kind and caring.
I would commend the kitchen staff for their readiness to cooperate with my little peculiarities and to include items brought in by friends. Generally, the care staff seem very helpful even if I sometimes find it difficult to conduct a conversation across the room.
Fantastic staff all around from reception, nurses, carers, cleaners and managers could not fault anything nothing is too much trouble if you ask for anything. All the staff are patient with my aunty and make sure she is comfortable.
My mother moved to Anville Court 3 months ago and she has settled in well. She seems happy and content. The manager and all staff are very helpful, caring and compassionate. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My mum's room is small, cosy and very warm and comfortable. The communal lounge is available and entertainment is very good for the residents. The food menu is varied. My mum is kept very clean and tidy and always treated with respect and dignity.
A lovely supportive home that is extremely well-led which is evident in the day-to-day running of the home. All the staff from care staff, domestic staff, kitchen staff, and reception make you feel welcome so it really does feel like my mom's home. Staff have taken time to get to know my mom and her family and treat us with dignity and respect. My requests are always answered and staff listen to us. Kitchen staff always try and fulfil requests, are approachable and chatty and take time to get to know people. The food is presented well and a good choice. The afternoon tea trolley is a lovely touch. The home is well looked after and always spotless and the rooms are well maintained. The garden is lovely and also well maintained and families are able to use this space when they want. Activities are great and significant days are always celebrated. It was a difficult time when my mom first moved into the home and has been made easier by the welcoming attitude of the staff. Thank you to you all.
What can I say about this care home? It's a wonderful place for your loved one. Treated with dignity, love and compassion. Nothing is too much trouble for management, carers and staff. Management is always there to support you. Thank you everyone.
Wow. What a difference in this home to the previous one Mom was in. Everything about the home oozes professionalism, from the reception right the way through every department to the management. The home gives the impression of almost looking like a hotel. The rooms are more than enough for care to be given, with complete matching furniture that gives the rooms that home feeling. Staff are eager to talk and listen and are professional in every respect.
Dad with brain cancer in palliative care kicked out 5am! Never use! He has now fallen again as I have had to take him to my place with stairs. Honestly such a joke - most of the staff were shocked that he was going! It seems to be the managers that have it in for him!
