View Full Details of Belvidere Court Nursing HomeThe welcoming atmosphere is striking, as is the degree to which the staff are friendly and cheerful (even when residents are uncooperative). The level of staff cover, in the lounge area for instance, is reassuring. The rooms are rather basic and are not large enough to make as homely as one might wish, but they are always clean and warm. I am pleased with how the laundry service works and also with the Christmas entertainment. There was formerly a sheet in Room 18 on which visitors could record any food and drink consumed by residents during visits. I completed one, but it was not replaced, leading me to question how effectively the record of food/drink intake is kept.
My husband is well looked after. His needs are well met. I have not complaints. A little more stimulation - games etc., good TV.
Belvidere Court Nursing Home is an excellent home. Can't fault the staff, they work extremely hard.
My first impression was that the interior looked like it needed redecorating, was immediately replaced by total admiration for the care and respect that the staff showed for the residents. Even the most challenging resident was being shown consideration and affection. Despite some difficult moments, visitors too were warmly welcomed and offered drinks. My stepmom could not have spent her last months in a better place.
I think it is a very nice place and the staff all are lovely and friendly, and very helpful. I would recommend it to other people. I felt the experience was just right and I was very pleased with the way my brother is being cared for, and looked after. I am pleased he is being fed and watered and taken care of. I am happy with how everything is.
In my experience staff are always very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Management and staff keep me informed regarding any changes to medication, changes to visiting rules either via facebook or telephone. Whenever I visit the staff are interacting with residents and offering drinks etc. The home is always clean as are the residents.
Mum has been at Belvidere since November 2020 and she has settled in very well. The staff are very kind and caring to mum and to us and always make us feel welcome, especially now that we are able to visit. Mum is always well dressed, clean and well-fed. Overall as a family, we have had a very positive experience so far of Belvidere and all the staff involved in mum's care and would unreservedly recommend the home to any family.
The care home has really looked after my great uncle, the care he has received is second to none. He was in a temporary bed and now moved permanently into the home. The staff are so kind and caring and every time I ring they are so helpful and supportive. I wouldn't want my uncle to be cared for anywhere else.
The staff showed nothing but love and care for my dad. He was always well dressed, well fed and he was happy. I was always offered a drink when visiting. Staff knew me by name and made me feel welcome. Mealtimes were protected which meant Dad got the help he needed. When Dad became poorly, the home went above and beyond to let me visit and I was able to say goodbye, for this, I cannot thank them enough. For people looking to place their relative here... it is not a new build or has elaborate decor, but it does have staff who genuinely care!
I am very pleased with the service provided to my mother in the care home. I have no concerns.
My father arrived here very confused and scared. He was unhappy, not eating and not sleeping. We, his family, were very distraught as well. The staff here were amazing and reassured my dad and my family very quickly that he would be fine and well looked after. 10 months later, he seems happy and more relaxed. We enjoy visiting him as well. We are made to feel very welcome.
A very caring and safe refuge with a high standard.
The carers are both professional and efficient. They show real compassion to both my mom (resident) and my dad, who's daily visits are welcomed. Thank you for meeting mom's needs.
I have found the staff are very caring and are trained to meet the needs of the service user. Meals are good and plenty of fluids and entertainment. Very good.
I have no worries concerning the care of residents by the staff. The kindness and compassion of the staff is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
My Mother has been in the home since March and in that time the staff have been brilliant. They showed patience while she was settling in and have proved they take notice and care of all the residents. They have encouraged, without forcing, my mother to join in the activities they provide. They are always smiling and friendly, whilst keeping us informed about my mother's care and are quick to notice if anything is bothering her. I cannot praise them enough.
May I just send my sincere gratitude and thankfulness for the care, attention, dignity and respect that Belvidere Court Nursing home gave to my Dad from the moment he arrived at Belvidere Court to the time he departed and was at peace. Words cannot describe the professionalism and attention to detail the team provided my family and I. The team gave my Dad his smile back, with their positivity and specialist techniques and skills; they reached him and gave him life again of routine, protection and safety. I know in my heart he loved and was loved by everyone that he encountered. So on his behalf, I just want to say a big Thank you and God Bless.
I cannot say how much the staff are loving and caring towards their residents. My mom came to Belvidere straight from hospital, when the original care home refused to accept her back saying she needed a nursing home. From day one the staff helped me and Mom to settle in. Towards the end of Mom's life, she was diagnosed with bowel cancer. The staff cared for Mom with love and dignity. I cannot fault them. Mom loved to be there and I'm so glad she had her last weeks with loving, caring people. Thank you.
My mother has vascular dementia. After searching numerous nursing homes with poor care and poor hygiene, I found Bellevue Court to be of a very high standard. Management and staff were very friendly, helpful. I feel very relieved that my mum is being well looked after and if I have any problems, the staff are willing to listen and resolve any issues.
Staff at Bellevue treat my father with dignity and look after all his needs excellently. They are always very polite and friendly. I would no hesitation in recommending the home.
