View Full Details of Wrottesley Park HouseMy nan spent two months at Wrottesley Park House when she was diagnosed with terminal illness and advised for palliative care. The care , compassion and the kindness shown by the whole staffing team was outstanding, right from the first day until the last day. She was always treated with respect, dignity and kindness. The management team was always approachable, and I found them actively involved in care, giving the team required guidance when required. I would happily recommend Wrottesley Park House to anyone needing care and attention.
Over the last few months I feel the overall management of the home has improved greatly. Very impressed with the new manager who is veru hands on. The activities they provide are lovely and help my brother socialise and come out of his room.
My uncle stayed at Wrottesley Park House for a respite stay in December following a terrible fall at home. This is a great Home in and out, the staff are so friendly, caring and welcoming. The care and support my uncle received there was second to none. Great Home! Highly recommend.
The staff including care home management are very friendly, approachable and always prepared to listen and respond to any concerns that are raised by family members of service users. The home itself is clean, bright and welcoming. The rooms of service users are reasonably well kept - although rooms do look very tired and from a hygiene perspective the ' bedding'' should be changed each week and on observation this has not been the case - and as a result this has had to be requested and raised. Resident activity is good, they hold arts and crafts sessions including music and musicians/singers invited for special evening entertainment. Which I'm aware service users enjoy. A recommendation for improvement would be for the home to consider the offer of 121 care and support including 121 activity sessions for service users to help improve wellbeing.
My dad has been made to feel so welcome and absolutely loves Wrottesley Park Care home. The care from the staff at all levels is fantastic and my sister and I are so pleased with the level of care that he is receiving. The room and home is always clean and warm and everyone is so friendly. Dad always looks smart and is treated with dignity and respect. Thank you to everyone for caring for Dad so wonderfully.
Outstanding care, my father is now happy. Since being admitted the last two weeks we can see a great improvement and looking forward to him coming home. All staff have been very helpful and always happy to help with tasks. The manager has been very helpful and has great knowledge and understanding. I would recommend the care home.
My nan was taken into Wrottensley Park House in November and was in room 4. All the staff, management, kitchen and resident in the home was always happy to see you, helpful and always help and supported us a family to the day come and she passed away. Even when she passed, they gave her dignity. Very clean, food and drink was never a problem. Always come and said hello and was there anything we needed. So I want to thank all the team for their hard work, you're doing amazing.
My mum came into Wrottesley Park House Nursing Home after being in a hospice as palliative care. From the moment my husband and myself visited the home we were made to feel very welcome, it was spotless, and it felt like home. The room was nice, overlooking the garden. The care was amazing from the top right down to the cleaning when my mum was at end of life. The care was amazing, we will never forget how lovely and kind the staff were and so much dignity was given.
My father was able to obtain a place at Wrottesley Park House for four weeks respite care. Being 93 years old and having not only had a minor stroke in the previous month but also lost his wife after 65 years of marriage, he was fragile, weak, immobile, anorexic and depressed. After 2 weeks of professional care by the fantastic staff at Wrottesley, as well as the varied activities, menus and constant companionship, the family have already noticed a vast improvement in his health and wellbeing. He is no longer lonely and has something to look forward to daily.
Lovely home with great facilities and lovely grounds. The new manager is highly experienced and leads the team with enthusiasm. Compassion and high standards of care. Would definitely recommend Wrottesley Park.
