View Full Details of Lynhales Hall Nursing HomeDad is well cared for, every time I come he is always well-groomed. I am happy and would recommend the home to anyone.
This lovely setting makes a big difference to the feeling of the home. My ex-husband was very pleased to have been taken to the post office to buy stamps, postcards, etc. He feels that the staff are kind and do listen to him. He likes his room which is bright and clean and feels he is well cared for.
Dad is very well settled here. He is well looked after and is able to walk outside now and again with supervision. He often tells us he is well looked after.
My husband came to Lynhales after a stay in hospital. At Lynhales he was treated with such care, love and dignity. He was supervised and helped to wash and dress, infinite patience was shown. I know this because I spent 8 hours a day with him. Supporting and walking outside when weather permits and inside when not. The staff never complained and were happy and accommodating. In his last 6 weeks, he was bedbound but a steady stream of 'visitors' (staff) came to see him and chat even though he no longer responded. Coffee and tea flowed on demand for me! The last 3 days of his life I only went home for an hour in the morning while the staff cleaned and did his daily care. I almost became a permanent fixture! But sympathy and love flowed around us both. I will always be grateful that his last months were in such a happy environment with such knowledgeable staff. Parkinson's and Dementia are such horrible illnesses. Thanks to Lynhales we felt safe.
Mother-in-law is well looked after and staff are really lovely, nothing is too much trouble for them. Am really pleased ith the home.
My husband is well cared for and the staff are very helpful.
The staff are caring and kind and I am confident Mum is in safe hands.
My mum is well looked after. She said she loved the food. The home itself is in lovely surroundings. The staff were excellent and were caring, even though it can be demanding. Many thanks.
My husband is being well cared for at Lynhales and is as happy as he will ever be. The staff are excellent with changes of mood.
Nan was always well looked after, she was always presentable and you could see the love and care she was given from the nurses. During Covid, they protected her and gave regular updates to us as a family. Thank you for looking after her for 4 years, we would 100% recommend the care home.
I come most weeks to see my sister. She is happy here and my family are also happy. We hope to have a new chair for her soon so we can get outside.
Mum has been a resident at Lynhales Hall for 3 weeks. I have been happy with the care she has received. She is well-presented each time I have seen her and has been fed well. The home is clean and tidy.
Mum is new year and I'm relieved and full of hope to see what a friendly and happy place this is. It is noticeable that the residents are happy. I feel very comfortable about Mum living here and feel confident that she will have the opportunity to enjoy her life.
The care home is lovely and clean. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Lots of activities for the residents. A really pretty area for a care home. Wonderful care for my nan.
Mum is happy and well cared for. The staff are friendly and always take time to talk to us and update us on Mum's progress.
Lynhales is a warm, friendly and secure home. The staff are always genuinely caring and respectful with my dad. My dad is well cared for. I would recommend Lynhales for others with dementia.
I should preface this review by saying I almost *never* give reviews. But Lynhales Hall Nursing Home is spectacular. Dad spent the last months of his life there; and died there. The Nurses, Caring Staff, Activities Co-ordinators, Cleaners, Chefs and kitchen staff, Laundry Staff.....they are all absolutely superb and treated Dad with such care, love and respect. I recommend Lynhales Hall Nursing Home unreservedly. Sadly the same cannot be said of the staff with whom I came into contact at Rotherwood Healthcare ('Head Office' - based in Loughborough, I believe). The staff were *not* caring and were brusque and occasionally quite rude. I am very sad to say that when I let them know that Dad had passed away, I did not receive any condolences and, in fact, my last email went unanswered, to this day. However, despite this, I was so very happy with Lynhales Hall Nursing Home and their amazing staff, that the poor service from 'Head Office' was overshadowed by the superb care from Lynhales.
I have been at Lynhales Hall Nursing Home for fourteen weeks and I am very happy and settled. It is a lovely comfortable home and the staff have all been kind and cooperative. The food is excellent and a very good selection.
As soon as I arrived at Lynhales Hall Nursing Home, I felt at ease due to the welcoming and very caring staff. During my visits, there always seemed to be staff around to help and assist with any enquiries I may have. The home was always clean and tidy and Mum seemed to have everything she needed to hand. The staff looked in on Mum at regular intervals. All of the staff were marvellous, being kind, caring and accommodating and are a credit to the home. I would not hesitate to recommend Lynhales Hall Nursing Home to anyone who asked me.
My father-in-law has recently moved to Lynhales Hall Nursing Home. From what I can see, I am very happy with everything. From the welcoming, to the standard of care, he seems well settled. I would definitely recommend Lynhales Hall for anyone seeking excellent care.
