View Full Details of Bradeney House Nursing HomeOur dad stayed in the care home for approximately two years until his recent passing. Much loved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. During that time, we cannot fault the care and attention he received. All the staff treated him fully with respect, love and support and that was extended towards our family. Nothing was too much trouble. We would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff at Bradeney House Nursing Home.
I wish to say thank you to each member of staff at Bradeney House Nursing Home for the wonderful care of my husband in his stay at Bradeney House. Every single member of staff at every level of position there always showed enormous care and consideration. My husband was made to feel that not a single thing was too much of an effort for him to be given the medical and personal care he needed. I was so grateful for my husband to be at Bradeney House to receive the care that I was unable to give him at home. I was confident in the management that the home was run to a high standard. His nursing care was given with professionalism along with gentleness and uplifting chatting. The caregivers were marvellous each had their own individual personality in the way they treated him which my husband loved. No matter what personal care my husband needed it was attended to straight away. The well kept en-suite room my husband was in was large, light and had a lovely view over the grounds.
My Father was in Bradeney House for just over a week on the Windsor wing. The staff are absolutely amazing and really looked after my Dad during his short stay. We had one blunder where a nurse left a dementia medication patch on when putting a new patch on and I did complain to the Care Home Manager, Council and CQC because my father is affected badly by medication, this was swiflty dealt with though. The care home is such a big house that my Dad felt like he was in a hotel in Spain, which made the stay so much easier. I would have no problem with my father returning back to Bradeney House and would thoroughly recommend. Just a little point though, make sure you have names on all items (sewn into clothes is best) because things go adrift, not because of the home but some of the other residents don't realise that they do not belong to them, but if you do lose anything the Care Home Manager is amazing and finds these for you as best she can.
My husband was in this care home. Staff are brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, and when I went to visit; they made drinks, it was like a home from home.
My partner passed away in this place. There is insufficient staff to serve a home of this size. I witnessed several incidents where a carer was needed. I dealt with one of them and a domestic dealt with another and this was because there was no carer or nurse on the floor due to being short staffed as they were needed elsewhere on other floors. It looks so good on paper, sorry it is not.
Mom has been at Bradeney House for just over 12 months suffering from Alzheimer's and we have always been pleased with the first class care she receives from the staff there. They are very friendly and when we turn up, alternating times and days on spec, they always make us feel welcome like part of the family. The home itself is clean and comfortable. They are so caring and we can see how content she is now and she loves them and trusts them. We could not ask for more dedicated staff, thank you.
The carers and nursing staff are superb. They care so much for the residents in their care. They are very dedicated. I trust them 100%. My mother is so well looked after and very content on her unit, which is 'Blenheim'. Can't fault them at all.
Reasonably good, caring staff. Good management.
Reception good. Journey to the room, too much odour in passageways, especially near restrooms. Room satisfactory. Staff very pleasant. Staff do not answer bells quickly enough. Too much noise. Food is inconsistent. Overall very poor.
The staff are always pleasant and smiling. They are always helpful and nothing too much trouble. All patients are treated with dignity and kindness. The nurses are efficient and professional. The nurses are efficient and professional. The food is good but can be repetitive. Well done everyone and many thanks for your care.
My dad seems very settled here, his room always clean and tidy. The staff are pleasant to clients and towards visitors, drinks and snacks are always being given. In my experience, I enjoy visiting my dad. The staff are always very hands on.
We as a family do not have any worries at all regarding my husband and father being a resident in here. The unit he is in is excellent and one could not ask for better care. The staff treat my husband and any visitors with respect and we are always made to feel very welcome. Any questions are always answered and any concerns the staff have about my husband they will always communicate with me and discuss things. My husband seems happy and content.
My father who has Vascular Dementia with challenging behaviour is receiving excellent care from the staff of Bradeney House since he became a resident a month ago. All the staff are extremely professional and at the same time warm, welcoming and approachable. His care needs have been tailored to cope with his challenging behaviour and he is now settling into the unit. I am very grateful to Bradeney House for accepting my father into their care and feel reassured after visiting him that he is being extremely well looked after.
Dad was recently admitted to Bradeney House with challenging behaviour caused by his advanced vascular dementia. His first few days were a nightmare and my sister and I thought the home would not be able to cope with him. However, the staff assured us they were used to residents like Dad and we should not worry. During our visits, the large number of staff on duty work as a team, treating residents with dignity and respect in a busy and friendly environment. They also interact well with residents and relatives, updating us on Dad's care and carrying out requests in an efficient and timely manner. The unit is basic but appropriate for the residents' needs. It is clean and secure with coded doors essential for residents like Dad, who wanders around the unit. There are organised activities during which residents are chaperoned by carers. Dad is slowly settling into his new accommodation, with measures now in place as part of his care plan, to stabilise his aggressive behavioural issues. Bradeney house is a special care unit, led by an excellent management team and staff. Their hard work and overall professionalism result in a high standard of care to its residents.
Excellent. My mother recently spent some respite time at Bradeney House. All staff were very professional and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. They treated my Mom, myself and other family with dignity and respect at all times. They even extended their hospitality towards me and allowed me to stay 24/7 until my Mom was well enough to come home. Many, many thanks.
Mum has recently moved to Bradeney House and has received a very warm and friendly welcome. Every member of staff, from management, nurses, carers and beyond have shown great dignity, care, compassion and kindness, helping Mum settle into her new home. Bradeney is a large home but is split into 'units' which gives it a smaller, homely feel and every aspect is well presented throughout. It gives me great peace of mind knowing Mum is cared for in a safe, secure, clean and happy environment. Thank you.
My husband is on his 2nd year at Bradeney House he seems to be happy there. His room is good and I have spoken to management that his window needs work on it and he has promised to have it done. The food is good but repetitive. The standard of care has improved very much. The 40's day which the home had was great. Nursing staff are excellent. Relatives are made to feel part of the family. The management told me about the Chelsea mobility chair which I purchased and it has made a big difference to my husband.
I find the staff to be kind and very caring. Though sometimes they are short staffed. They do their best. Since the new manager has been here, things have improved greatly. I am very glad my husband is in Bradeney House Nursing Home.
I always find that mom is well looked after and cared for both medical and care staff are very good.
My wife is well cared for at Bradeney House Nursing Home. The staff are friendly and helpful to me and the nursing is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble I am happy to leave my wife knowing she is cared for day and night.
