Lovely welcoming, calming home everyday I visit my brother-in-law. Always made welcome and staff go above and beyond nothing ever to much trouble. Pleasant staff and always smiling and greeting you with a good morning /afternoon.
My dad is a resident at Oldbury Grange Nursing Home and has been looked after extremely well. The staff have been very helpful and caring with dad. My dad has mixed dementia and was placed at another care home previously where his behaviour escalated to the point he was violent and aggressive with staff and he also absconded on two occasions. Since moving to Oldbury Grange he has been very happy, there have been no behaviour issues and he is very settled. The manager has been wonderful, very helpful the whole team have been very supportive I can not thank them enough and recommend this care home 100% in fact a close friend moved her mum into Oldbury Grange on my recommendation and is also very happy with the standard of care and support given to both the residents and their family. The activities they have are excellent they work very hard a big well done to the team at Oldbury Grange!
My Nan loves it at Oldbury Grange Nursing Home, she said everyone treats her with dignity and is friendly. The foods lovely and they even get a glass of wine with lunch, best care home ever. The surroundings are stunning and is lovely to sit and look at. Any concerns are addressed and never over looked even if it's just missing socks.
As a resident of Oldbury Grange Nursing Home my overall experience has been excellent and to the highest standards. I can only describe the care and support I have received has again been excellent and nothing is too much trouble for staff and management.
Excellent nursing home where residents and families are treated with the utmost care, consideration and respect you could wish for. My brother is cared for as he should be and deserves. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.
An outstanding provision that has shown what care should look like from the very beginning. We are very grateful for how our relative is now being treated.
Thank you Oldbury Grange Nursing Home for the wonderful care my brother in law is receiving. Patience and understanding is shown in abundance to all concerned, especially my brother in law. Great home for those in difficult circumstances.
Staff always go above and beyond to help make celebrations within the nursing home as special as possible. There are always activities going on with the residents which family are invited to. Staff always make you feel welcome and make you feel at home by bringing drinks, snacks and by moving chairs so as your family are comfortable during the visit.
Fantastic care towards all residents and their families. Always having fun and making an effort so many activities. They go out of their was to celebrate special occasions and get families involved. Great relationship with all the staff and management. Best care home ever.
Great staff, very well run. Cannot fault anything.
The home is filled with love and care. The staff take amazing care of my grandad and I couldn't thank them enough. They provide brilliant meals and support him continuously.
My wife was moved to this home followed a hospital stay after a fall at the previous home she was in. The difference is worlds apart. The whole setting is stunning, the staff are professional, kind and can't do enough for you. I helped them out with their bonfire night by sharing my grey peas and bacon recipe! The manager is a fantastic manager, who has a genuine passion to keep everyone happy and often treats all of the staff to pizza or cakes to show her gratitude for their hard work. My wife is at end of life stage and she is kept comfortable and I know she is well cared for. I have recommended Oldbury Grange to my neighbour who is thinking of moving his mother in law to another home. 5 stars from our family. Thank you to all of the staff for looking after my wife.
Since my mother in law moved into Oldbury Grange, it's only now that we know what a good care/nursing home is. At first, we thought where she was was good, but with her needs increasing and we chose for her to be moved to Oldbury Grange we found out that they really are poles apart. All staff have got so much care and compassion, and I truly mean all staff. In all honesty I don't believe that you will find anywhere better.
As a family we cannot fault Oldbury Grange Nursing home in any way. My mother broke her hip in March 2024 and in late June we realised that she needed more care than she was getting at home. We were shown around Oldbury Grange by one staff member in particular who could not have been more helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. My mum was welcomed to the home in late June and was treated with great respect and kindness. The staff could not have been more attentive and professional. The meals were varied and delicious. The entertainment staff are enthusiastic and innovative and really enjoy what they do. My mum so enjoyed the summer fair held in August and I will treasure the photos I took of her on that day. The manager is hands on and gets to know the residents very quickly. She seems to have so much time for everyone. My mum passed away at the beginning of September as she approached her 94th birthday. We were so grateful that she spent her last few months at Oldbury Grange.
Mum has nothing but praise for every single person who looks after her. She wasn't coping at home and had more or less given up eating. Oldbury found out what was causing this and slowly she's improved in strength and ability. Everyone is warm and caring. The other residents are supportive too. She is kept entertained, which keeps her bright and alert. Keep up the good work!
Having been a carer within a care home myself for over 20 years and seeing first-hand how residents were treated, I was extremely reluctant to consider placing my husband in a residential home. It was a very difficult decision and one which I have struggled with. I was offered Oldbury Grange and I haven't looked back since. It has completely altered my views and restored my faith in the care system. My husband can be somewhat tricky and extremely stubborn but has settled in very well. This has come from the fantastic care shown by the dedicated and hardworking staff. They go above and beyond. Enriching every day with fun activities, parties, and afternoon tea to name a few and providing a happy and stimulating environment for my husband. The care my husband requires involves patience, empathy and understanding as he has Alzheimer's, rectum and skin cancer. The staff are nothing short of amazing, I couldn't have done this very emotional journey without their help and support. A special mention to a wonderful manager who came to my rescue along with the carers and welcomed my husband into their home at a point where I was beginning to feel unable to cope. Thank you.
Excellent staff in all departments. The manager always listens and has time for everyone. My nan said the food tasted good. I am happy with the care that is provided to my nan. Definitely one of the better care homes.
Sparkly eyes and happy smiles say everything. Stimulation keeps everybody busy with different crafts. Guests are always made to feel welcome. All in all, a happy place.
A lovely, lively place. The people living here are really looked after and catered for. They are encouraged to join in. Lots of activities and loss. Also lots of communication between staff and patients. It seems any excuse for a party! My friend assures me the food is great, especially the cakes. Beautiful surroundings enjoyed by all. Happy place.
