My mother moved to Autumn House for palliative care after seventeen weeks in hospital. The care and attention she received at Autumn House was exceptional. All staff from nurses, carers, managers, housekeepers, laundry staff were so welcoming, kind and efficient in the care of my mum. I particularly noticed the calm and peaceful atmosphere. All the staff seemed to enjoy their roles and were supportive to my dad and I. Cannot fault the high standard of care.
My wife was at Autumn House for three weeks for palliative care. The standards were very high and the care given was excellent. After a long spell in hospital the privacy was appreciated and the kindness of every member of staff encountered. Not only caring for my wife but supportive of me and my daughter. Nothing but praise for this establishment. Thank you.
I have nothing but praise for the staff at this nursing home.
We as a family could not be happier with the care my mum is getting she is been well looked after by the wonderful staff. The home is beautiful and kept lovely and clean. We just wanted to express our gratitude for the care, nursing and catering that Mum received in your lovely care home.
Mum was very well looked after and cared for over the three years she was in the nursing home. The staff were all fantastic and she enjoyed staying there. I cannot express how much I loved the staff for taking care of Mum, especially the last few weeks of her life and will miss them all. As a thank you, we donated money from Mum's funeral to the residents' activities.
My mum has been in Autumn House Nursing Home for three months. During this time she has received good care, the staff are excellent in looking after her needs on a daily basis. Since she has been there she has become more settled and happy in herself. The home is exceptionally clean, her room is warm and welcoming with a nice view over fields. The food there is good quality and the menu is varied. I would have no hesitation in recommending Autumn House to anyone considering it as an option for a loved one.
Autumn House is a lovely care home, it's a caring place. Carers are one in a million. I would recommend this care home to anyone.
Mum transferred to Autumn House 12 months ago due to her previous care home stating that they could not meet her needs. Autumn House staff helped her settle in and have maintained her fluids and nutrition. Mum is well cared for and as I visit 5 days a week, I see the care she and the other residents receive, which is professional and caring.
Mum feels content here. All of the staff are very kind caring and friendly. The home is very well decorated and clean creating a very pleasant atmosphere, although Mum's bedroom is in need of decoration. We are very happy with the way Mum is being looked after.
My auntie sadly passed away in Autumn House Nursing Home on 10th October, following a long period of living there. I am a registered nurse and have worked in the NHS as such for forty-two years. I was so impressed to see the nursing standards we were taught all those years ago were in place in this home. The staff were caring and supportive of both my auntie and the family alike. The care she was given was excellent. She was treated with dignity throughout, turned two hourly, beautifully clean and presented and actual oral care was performed every 30 minutes. I haven’t seen this happen for many years when visiting family in the main hospital. The home was welcoming, the staff obviously knew my auntie well, they came in regularly when we were visiting just to check we were ok. The whole ethos of care was excellent in the end-of-life situation. Thank you all for your care, keep up the good work.
Mum has been in Autumn House since April, and I feel that she has settled in. Autumn House is a calm, clean and hospitable environment. All the staff are really friendly and caring towards Mum and ensure that all her needs are met. Nothing is too much trouble. It is lovely to visit Mum and chat with staff and visitors. Our friends and family who have visited, have been positive about Autumn House. I only wish that I had known about Autumn House when Mum needed respite care earlier this year.
Very clean, friendly staff and supportive senior leadership team. Very beautiful and functional design. Responsive polite service always listened to what the family had to say. Good communication and honesty, direct but supportive with family especially towards the end.
My aunty is in Autumn House Nursing Home. As soon as you walk in you can feel the warmth of the place and there was a fabulous welcome at the door. Staff are super friendly and nothing's too much trouble, no matter what you ask, they're always on hand. Rooms are fabulous and clean and it’s looking even better with all the new decor, well pleased.
The staff always went the extra mile for my nan who was there for three years, everyone was always very friendly and assisting. She was always encouraged to take part in new activities that she would have never done before which was really nice to see.
Lovely, friendly staff and very welcoming to the whole family. All the family have said what a wonderful place and excellent care. Where the residents are well catered for and a lot of events for them to do. The manager is so helpful and genuinely caring.
My wife and myself were exceptionally pleased at the care and attention my mum received during her nineteen months as a resident in Autumn House Nursing Home. All staff were very kind and considerate and Mum looked upon them as family.
The home is a clean, bright and welcoming environment, patient rooms are a good size providing adequate space for 2-3 visitors comfortably. All the staff portrayed happy, kind and caring attributes and always made time for both patients and visitors. Our experience was brief over 3 weeks of palliative care, I cannot praise all the staff at all levels enough. A most difficult time was dealt with great care and kindness, with excellent communication. Thank you all.
I used Autumn House for a four week respite stay and found that the home, in general, gave me an experience superior to what I had expected. All the staff, without exception, provided everything I needed and I would have no regrets in recommending this home to anyone.
Autumn House were able to accommodate my husband at relatively short notice. I personally found management extremely informative and supportive whilst we were in a situation of dire need. My husband has told me that the nursing and care staff were extremely efficient, friendly and made him feel at ease and happy. Should the situation ever arise where he requires permanent nursing care, Autumn House is where he would like to be.
