My father has been cared for at Rowan Court Care Home for nearly three years before he died in February 2025. He was always treated with dignity and with thoughtful care. He clearly welcomed the attention of care and nursing staff. He enjoyed heartily the meals, and engaged staff with good humour. The care during the last month of his life was sincere and exemplary. I cannot speak too highly of the home.

All staff have a very positive attitude and are fully aware of my mother's care plan along with her daily needs. Care staff are caring and flexible in meeting individual requests. The food quality and hygiene standards are excellent. A daily programme of activities keeps residents monitored and socially involved. The home keeps relatives completely updated on their doctor's appointments and prescription needs.

Rowan Court Care Home is truly excellent! The staff (each and everybody) are kind, caring, happy and personable. They show empathy for each of the residents and do not talk down to those with greater needs. I am so grateful for the given to my mother who is always smiling and happy as a consequence of the love and dedication of the staff.

My cousin has been here for approx 3 years. I visit almost every week and certainly the care in Rowan Court is amazing. Every single person in the duty of this care home is excellent. They look after all, kind, sufficient, gentle and knowing the best of ways. Each person in need will be looked after very well.

I have nothing but praise for Rowan Court Care Home. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Mum is safe, happy, cared for and has lots of activities and outings which she loved being a part of. The home is excellently managed. The rooms are clean. I am extremely happy with the provision and I recommend the home to others. I am confident that Mum is safe and enjoying life. Thank you all.

My father-in-law has been a resident at Rowan Court for just over 2 months now. Choosing the right residential home can be problematic, but my wife and I were immensely impressed with our initial contact and the politeness and professionalism of all staff. Safe to say, he has settled in remarkably well, he’s made new friends and all staff are extremely kind and supportive toward him. We have expressed our thanks to the manager, and in particular, the following staff have all impressed us with reception, admin, and the many excellent carers including the exceptional senior carers.

Our mum entered Rowan Court at the most difficult time -- after a fall at home and just as the Covid lockdown was starting. My sister found Rowan Court, and we could not have made a better choice. I live in the United States, but everyone I spoke to on my weekly phone calls was so positive and friendly. During the time she was there, through her 100th birthday and to her recent passing, the personal care and love that she received was all that we could have hoped for. Thank you so much for all that you do for your residents and their families!

I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness, support and love they showed my sister during her short stay at Rowan Court, although it was a sad time for the family they made it very special and they could not have done any more it is a lovely place, cannot recommend it enough.

The lady I support and visit regularly has been at Rowan Court Care Home - Avery Healthcare for the past 16 months. The staff have been fantastic since she arrived here after a four month hospital stay. They are always friendly and show empathy. The reception staff are always courteous and helpful. There is a warm and welcoming feeling at Rowan Court and it is a homely environment where the care and consideration for the residents is always a priority.

My mother has settled in well. I have found the staff to be helpful and caring. They keep us informed of changes to medication and other health issues. It is obvious that staff are, at times, under pressure, but they maintain their caring, friendly and cheerful attitude. We are very happy with the care that our mother receives.

I find the home warm and welcoming - my dad has only been a resident for a short period but already the team of carers seem great, supportive and have supported my dad. I feel as positive as possible. I feel that my dad is cared for and safe, which is my main importance. Thank you.

Excellent quality of care. All carers are well trained and behave in a kindly manner. Carers provide a happy environment and demonstrate a high degree of patience, often in demanding circumstances. The home provides a wide range of activities designed to stimulate the residents. Rowan Court Care Home has exceeded expectations for the care of my wife, who is totally immobile with zero short-term memory. She is in very good hands.

I found Rowan Court whilst Mum was in an alternative home and I am so pleased I did. The help that I had from management staff prior to transferring Mum was outstanding. The depth of knowledge and willingness to pass it on helped me to navigate the system. I was on a big learning curve on how things work and the help and understanding I received made a difficult task easier. This level of caring was then found throughout the home from all of the staff. It is hard to put the care of your loved one into a stranger's hands, but the reassurance I get when I visit, that Mum is being cared for so well and kept safe and happy gives me peace of mind. There is genuine towards the residents and their families. My plan is that Mum will spend the rest of her life in a loving environment, surrounded by people she knows and loves.

My mother's care is excellent. The other residents are clearly treated with care and love. Her room is clean and tidy. There are fantastic activities - ranging from days/trips out. Singers are invited over, games etc. An excellent care home. Cannot fault it. Staff are wonderful.

My mum's care at Rowan Court has been satisfactory. Her basic needs have been met. Most of the staff/carers have been kind to my mum. They have been good at managing the deterioration of her health.

The basic care is good. The staff are friendly and attentive. At times the detail of care could be improved to make the resident's life more pleasant, for example; I often used to clean the wax from hearing aids and replace the batteries. Sometimes nails need trimming. Overall, a very good home.

I chose Rowan Court to care for my mother, she has Alzheimer's because of the great reviews and close proximity to my own home. In the early days, I myself found it hard to deal with the situation. This had nothing to do with Rowan Court. My mother also took a couple of months to settle in and accept her new life and surroundings. Now she is a changed person, dressing up every day and doing well. She seems happy and content. I cannot thank all the staff enough, they have been brilliant and they genuinely seem to care about both my mother and myself. M only small criticism is that her bathroom needs to be spruced up, especially the flooring. I made the right choice by choosing Rowan Court.

I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness, support and love they showed my sister during her short stay at Rowan Court, although it was a sad time for the family they made it very special and they could not have done any more it is a lovely place, cannot recommend it enough.
