View Full Details of Trentham House Care HomeDear the manager and your team .I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who provided palliative care and friendship to my wonderful husband during his final 5 weeks on the Oak unit .I will always be grateful for the support you provided to me and my two sons at the most devastating time of our lives ..When we camped out in the room you looked after us too . Your compassion and kindness was a great comfort to us . Once again thank you so very much .It meant more than you could ever know.
The care and support my dad receives is exceptional. He is treated with respect and love and so are my brother and I. We are all treated like family. It's such a special place. My dad is 100% happier here than when in hospital. If someone was looking for a place for a loved one, then I'd highly recommend Trentham House.
My mum has been at Trentham House since the end of November me and my dad can not thank the staff enough for there excellent care my mum is receiving in The Beech Unit. The warm welcome you get from all the staff is so reassuring. My mum's dementia is progressing more but they know how to deal with the situation. It makes us even more reassured when my mum tells us that it is a lovely house and the ladies who look after are her nice. Her room is always spotlessly clean and the staff made Xmas so special for all the residents. Thank you all for your excellent care.
My father was admitted for end-of-life care. From the moment we arrived, the staff were wonderful. He was in Oak Unit and the care/respect/help both he and our family received was second to none. They were knowledgeable, and understanding and nothing was too much trouble. During the last few days/hours, we found their support invaluable and they made his passing calm and comfortable for our father and the family. Highly recommend this care home.
Staff always do more than the requirements of their job description. They are always friendly, polite and kind. My mother, in addition to having dementia, is blind and they always explain to her exactly what they're doing to her to alleviate her fears.
When my father-in-law arrived here in the first week we could see a difference in him, how clean he was and also sitting in a chair watching T.V. which he hasn't done elsewhere, going in the garden, we were so happy to see this. After the first couple of weeks he had to be moved upstairs but the care and how the staff are so warm, welcoming and best of all they take good care of my father-in-law.
My parents have their needs met by caring and supportive staff. The quality of the care they receive is of a high standard. Dietary needs and preferences are considered. The personal care they receive ensures their dignity is preserved. The unit is effectively managed. Activities are provided for social interaction. The home seeks to continually improve the environment which is pleasant.
Brilliant staff, immaculately clean. Very impressed with everything would definitely recommend to others.
I arrived with a preconceived idea of what I would see. I was really surprised by everything I saw. The staff were pleasant, and so 'smiley'. My friend was treated with both friendliness and respect. Staff actually spoke to me, I wasn't ignored. My friend is at a difficult stage in her life and I felt that she was content, and I couldn't ask for any more. Where I haven't ticked boxes, it was because I have no experience in these fields.
The staff at Trentham house were absolutely incredible with my great uncle! I could not fault a single one of them for their services, two staff members in particular went above and beyond their duties and made my family and uncle extremely comfortable in a very distressing time. We can not thank them enough for their help and support!
We as a family have been treated with dignity since being here for two weeks. Would recommend Trentham House Care Home to anyone. The management and staff are without doubt five-star, thank you to everyone at Trentham you have been a lifesaver.
The care home is everything you would want for your relative.
The staff at Trentham House are very caring and friendly towards both Mum and myself. They are communicative about Mum's care and well-being and are very understanding of her needs. The home is kept very clean and is a pleasant environment. Overall, Mum is happy with the care she receives. A minor issue is the number of agency staff who are employed there, which can lead to a lack of consistency and also impacts a little on the bonding between Mum and the carers. The nursing team and manager are very amenable and approachable, and I feel that Mum is well looked after with genuine care.
All staff are excellent and very respectful and caring, nothing is too much trouble, very clean and welcoming from the time you walk in through the door, food is excellent and a good variety.
On the ball, communication is good, very clean and the care is superb. Every need of the residents is met in a timely manner.
Dad came into the home at the end of January 2024. This was a very difficult decision for us as a family, even though we knew that he needed nursing care, but from day one the care, welcome and support for Dad and the family has been exceptional. GP support has been excellent. The staff are so caring, kind and compassionate and it's wonderful to watch Dad's face light up with a big smile when the staff interact with him. Dad is currently very poorly and the communication and support to ensure our wishes are taken account of is timely and empathetic. The timely hugs and supportive words of comfort are so precious and are freely given from the moment you walk through the door from reception to the Maple unit. The rooms are comfortable and homely and kept very clean and tidy. We can't thank the home enough for the peace of mind they have given us. When we leave Dad, we do not worry as we know he is in safe hands, loved and well cared for and that is worth so much to us all.
My dad was a resident at Trentham House after some time in hospital. I cannot thank the staff enough for how well cared for he was. Dad was treated with such kindness, dignity and respect. A massive thank you to all staff but especially the unit for their excellent work which enabled the family to relax knowing that he was cared for so well. Sadly Dad passed away in March, but the staff were amazing showing such care and compassion, not only for Dad but the whole family. On entering the building straight away you are met with a homely feeling with such friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you for all the amazing work.
My mother-in-law was here 15 or so years ago and had wonderful care so I was extremely pleased when we were offered Trentham House. My husband is receiving exceptional care and attention and I recommend Trentham House to all.
My mum was a resident from 2020-2023 and I cannot thank the staff enough for how well they cared for her. They treated her with such love, dignity and respect like one of their own family and it meant such a lot. Sadly mum passed away in April but the way she was looked after during that sad time and the care and compassion shown to our family was truly outstanding. We can never tell them enough how appreciated they were/are.
Fantastic care was offered to mum during her stay. Also in her final days, the staff supported me and the family at a difficult time. For mum this became her home and the staff enabled this.
