When your loved one moves into care it's such a worry. However, it soon became very clear that the whole team at Harmony House genuinely cared. They provided a home-from-home for Mum, every member of staff knew Mum's name and welcomed her into her new Harmony family. We spent many hours with Mum and when she was at the end of life the care was exemplary. I can not thank each and every member of Harmony House enough for the kind and professional care they gave.
My wife was a resident at Harmony House for almost three years and I visited her for three hours every day. In all of that time I never saw, nor heard anything that gave me cause for concern with my wife's care. She was treated just like a family member. The staff and management were so professional with a perfect human touch, combined with consideration for residents and visitors.
Harmony House gave the best care to my wife and our Mom. They were supportive, and patient and the care was 100%. We can find no fault. Staff in all areas were polite, friendly and very caring. They also went above and beyond when asked. Their support through a difficult time will never be forgotten.
Mum went into Harmony House when she became too ill to be cared for in her current care home. She was well cared for, and our experience with the staff was brilliant. All members were caring with Mum and always checking we were satisfied with everything. When Mum eventually passed away, they were very thoughtful with us as a family, they made Mum look lovely and we were allowed to sit with her for over two hours before the undertakers came for her. We could not fault their overall care and thoughtfulness throughout Mum's short stay. Mum was unable to take part in activities, but the activity lady sat with her, talking and singing to her.
My grandad lived at Harmony House for a short time as very poorly and 96. He loved the staff, always helpful and smiling, nothing too much trouble for management. Really supportive of me and my family. Very knowledgeable at the end of his life. Thank you to all for your love and guidance at this sad time.
Staff lovely at the nursing home. Could always do with more staff to make it a better experience. I got to know members of staff who were happy to help. They looked after my stepdad very well despite not having enough staff at times. They treated him with respect. Some of the staff went above and beyond the call of duty.
For the past ten months, Harmony House Care Home have looked after my mother with the utmost care, love and attention. I found all the staff and carers to be very friendly, approachable, kind and courteous. The nurses were very informative about my mum's condition and health issues and they always had time to explain everything to my family and I. The activities for the residents were excellent and my mother always enjoyed them.
I have nothing but praise for all the staff at Harmony House who have looked after my son for the past five years. Being in his early fifties and the youngest resident, he was not always the happiest person to care for but everyone did their best to brighten up his life. Although he would never show it I know he appreciated everything the staff did for him.
Harmony House is a clean well-run home. The staff are always kind, caring and professional. The manager goes out of her way to welcome all new residents with warmth and politeness. The ethos of the home permeates throughout with all staff following the caring and professional theme. The medical care when needed is first rate. I would highly recommend Harmoney House to anyone who might need any nursing or care needs in the future.
My husband came to Harmony House from hospital. He was nonverbal but the staff found many ways to interact with him which was so important to us, his family. He was treated with so much respect and care, nothing was too much trouble. The food was brilliant, the housekeeping faultless and caring staff absolutely marvellous, admin staff were always available to answer any queries. We as a family cannot praise our experience with you enough. Thank you.
My mother was discharged to Harmony House from hospital under their discharge to assess and continuing healthcare programmes. Although the care of the staff and nursing teams was generally good, I found aspects of the management were poor. The facilities at Harmony House are of very good quality but they are underused. My mother spent most of her time in her room. There was no rehabilitation or physiotherapy. Opportunities for my mother to leave her room and engage with other residents were extremely limited.
Just move my mother in April 2023. So far, first impression is very good.
Nans very happy and settled and the staff calm her down as best as they can. She enjoys her activities very much and isn't happy when there's nothing on at the weekends. We can't make her understand the staff have to have days off. Well done to you all for helping us and keeping Nan calm as possible.
My dad was at the home for just over four years. He was loved by them staff and gave them all names he suffered with dementia and was bed bound. The staff there are amazing nipping to get him a take away when he wanted one. The staff became like our extended family to us and we always knew he was well looked after. I think my dad enjoyed his stay at the home and left an impression on them all. Maybe many other care homes should take a leaf out of Harmony House, the love and devotion they showed my dad. How would I rate the home? 150 out of 100! God bless you all for the care you gave my dad.
Every time I visit my grandma she is partaking in the activities and she seems to enjoy them, I have taken part in some myself. The activities coordinator is friendly, down-to-earth and very chatty! I have overheard some of the staff saying disrespectful stuff with regard to the activities and coordinator. The food could be a lot better with portion sizes. Staff could be more friendly and greet visitors when they enter. More staff are needed to make it an overall better experience for the residents.
I heard from my grandmother that the activities are fun and especially the Bingo days. I was able to witness it a couple of times and it is just great. The activities coordinator is very friendly.
I visited Harmony House on many occasions as a member of my family was in care there. He had been in a few homes and when he went to Harmony House he was a different man they got him out of bed, he was clean and tidy, his room was always clean. The staff are friendly and see to his needs very well and he put on weight. He was always having a laugh and joke with his carers they were also very friendly to his visitors the home is clean and very well kept and there is an outside garden for people to sit in in the warm weather. I can not find anything bad to say about the home or its staff.
My brother had trouble settling anywhere until he went into Harmony House Nuneaton, he was unable to care for himself relying heavily on people to help him. In Harmony House they got him mobile and able to get himself around, using his wheelchair he enjoyed the garden when he wanted. He was cleaner than he had ever been, enjoyed the food and was able to choose what sort of meals he liked they did their very best to accommodate his food choices. His room was cleaned regularly to a high standard, what he enjoyed the most was the time and consideration the ladies and men that cared for him spending time and talking to him having a laugh and joking which is what my brother loved. It was as if he was part of a family, he was cared for until he passed away with respect from all staff. We would highly recommend Harmony House. We were regularly informed of how he was getting on when we visited and we felt part of the family atmosphere. No regrets when we left because we knew he would be ok.
Staff are very reliable and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Management excellent
