View Full Details of Kenilworth GrangeThe staff and management are always helpful and very caring. Mum seems quite settled. A bit confused. The cleaner always speaks and asks if Mum is okay. A staff member in the office is always helpful. A particular member of staff always asks if everything is okay. All the staff are very helpful.
Have just found out from my daughter when visiting her grandma she was being forced to move, in distress and absolutely no interaction from care staff. This place is a business and has nothing to do with any sign of quality care. No interaction was witnessed between care staff and residents. Poor, if no, handover from the home manager when Mum left. Soulless and ignore anything you read about 1-2-1, dementia care. From our experience, it was more of sit them down and keep them quiet.
The treatment our friend is having at Kenilworth Grange is very good. He is happy and contented. All the staff are lovely and friendly when we visit.
The staff are professional, kind and caring. They are attentive to my needs. When I arrived it was difficult being in a strange place. The staff helped me and reassured me. They listen to me and respond appropriately. I felt scared at the beginning but now I feel secure. I do feel loved. The nurses are outstanding and have been there for me throughout my ten months of being here. I would recommend people to being here at the home because of the care.
Kenilworth Grange have treated my father with dignity and respect. I have always found him beautifully clean and dressed well, laundry always washed and laundered well, Dad is always well shaved, personal care brilliant. The staff are amazing on Willow Floor, always kind to me as well as Dad. The activity staff I find lovely and they really are and the cleaners are five star.
Really pleased to see my dad receiving such wonderful care. The staff are excellent and treat my dad with dignity at all times. Despite suffering from both dementia and parkinsons Dad is in better physical shape now than he has been for the last few years, that is all down to the quality of the care and attention from staff that he receives. I also have complete peace of mind which has improved my own physical and mental health. Thank you Kenilworth Grange!
Mom was transferred to the Grange from hospital after a short illness, we weren't happy with her previous care home as her needs were not met. We were lucky to be offered a residential place for Mom at the Grange and we are delighted. Mom is looked after so well by all the staff even the cleaners and she is so settled, content and happy, it's such a relief to us all. The team are always around to answer any questions, we are contacted regularly to make sure her needs are been given. It's just lovely and gives us such peace of mind and the change in Mom is remarkable, she is so happy healthy and content. Thank you, long may she live the rest of her life in such beautiful surroundings and around such beautiful people.
Whilst my father's needs are now different to when he first came in, I don't feel it is being addressed. Overall, he is cared for well although on many occasions he has needed to be changed. I have, on many different occasions, swept the floor - pulling out bedside cabinet when looking for his glasses to find dust and food both under the cabinet and bed. TV not working - even though you report things (no duvet in bed) it takes a long time to get something done. Not enough actively working staff.
Very pleased with the home. My husband settled straight away, the staff are especially kind and attentive and the food is excellent. The room could be a bit cleaner/better decorated (especially the floor) but otherwise quite acceptable.
My husband has only been here two days but he is happy and well fed. He slept well in a very comfy bed (his first night). The building seems slightly chilly.
The Kenilworth Grange team have been fantastic. Thank you for everything you are doing looking after my mother. Whilst it's so sad to see my mothers transition from a very independent lady prior to her fall to now being bedbound. Everyone has been stars looking after her, showing her such kindness and compassion. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere. It has meant so much to us that she's under your professional and caring custodianship. Thank you to the manager and everyone in the team.
My husband has been a resident in this home for nearly 5 years. My satisfaction on his care in as my ratings. I am more than satisfied with the care from all the staff at the home - and also their consideration to me in quite difficult circumstances. My reveiw covers all the months in the last 5 years!
My visits to Kenilworth Grange to see my husband are always met by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist, no appointment is needed. My husband has settled in well and enjoys the food and the excellent carers who are very approachable for information regarding his wellbeing.
I can't recommend Kenilworth Grange enough. We'd been trying to give Mum care at home and her dementia and health were seriously deteriorating. Since going to Kenilworth Grange nearly four years ago her health has improved beyond recognition, both physically and mentally. All of the staff and management have been wonderful and very caring. The activity team are like a second family to Mum and she obviously feels very much at home and safe there. It's such a relief to know that she's happy and content and we feel as if we can work together with the staff on anything that Mum would enjoy or is in her best interests.
My experience with Kenilworth Grange, has always been an excellent experience. The receptionist, the cleaners, the carers, all of the staff are always polite and friendly. My mum has been a resident for over four years and is very happy there. Nothing is ever much trouble and all because my mum is very happy and to me and all our family this is all that matters. I thank you all at Kenilworth Grange very much.
My aunt is the happiest she's ever been. Kenilworth Grange is an excellent care home and I would highly recommend. Staff are very caring. Thank you for taking good care of her.
The Grange is a dirty home. The residents are fed food that they don't like. The rooms are stuffy and not clean at all. The furniture is sticky and the manager is so rude. The staff are so busy and there is no interaction with the residents.
When we visit our friend who is resident in the grange, she is always pleased to see us. Most of the staff seem considerate, particularly the ones who are hands-on with the resident's care, because our friend is confined to a chair due to her loss of mobility, she often complains of feeling uncomfortable in the position she sits. The activities, which are organised by the lifestyle co-ordinator are imaginative and appropriate to the needs of the residents.
A review of the last 12 months is rather difficult as the period is totally dominated by the pandemic. Restricted access to loved ones has been dictated by Government and the management and staff at Kenilworth must have faced tremendous problems in addition to their 'normal' workload. Under such circumstances, one can but praise the management and staff for their professional and friendly attention not only to patients but to their loved ones who were subject to such draconian restrictions covering contact with their relatives and the home. After some perceived hesitation Kenilworth Grange reacted and established the pod system which, although not perfect, did give some restricted contact opportunity. Meanwhile, the everyday life in the home seemed to continue apace and with the additional input from senior staff members, communication was much improved. Perhaps and understandably routine matters of health and wellbeing have perhaps not been reported on in the, previously, detailed manner.
Very good set up, it does what it says on the tin. I found the people there very caring and professional and has changed any negative views I had on care homes, due to the care with my mother and late father. Thank you.
