View Full Details of Royal Leamington Spa Nursing HomeThe home provided a lovely Christmas party for the residents: a really good plate of party food, a great singer and the residents were able to sing along to a few songs, thoughtful chocolate treats from dressed-up Santa. Working long hours on Christmas day; staff came in early to get everyone washed and ready for the day and visitors. Made arrangements for everyone to sit together in the dining room. Provided a lovely little mini buffet in the evening. Thanks so much for the thoughtful pressie for each resident from dressed up Santa. Visited by friends; the staff brought small plates and took extra care when bringing tea for everyone, by using herbal tea (one had a medical condition) and by bringing honey and extra water along. So thoughtful. Thanks for all the wonderful help and care we continue to receive.
Very good. Much praise for staff.
Everything is excellent.
My husband has only been here for two months but I am very impressed with the care and kindness shown to him. The staff in the lounge are very committed to making all the residents, doing as much as they can and getting enjoyment. I also like that he is never left out, although he can't join in.
I have been here for over 3 years and the standard of care has been consistently excellent. All members of staff are kind and friendly and happy to help you in any way. I am very happy and would not change a single thing about this place.
I have found the staff very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I know my husband is in a very safe environment and they look after him very well.
A very caring and personable home, where my father has received outstanding care.
Feel that my husband has been cared for with compassion and integrity at all times. All the staff seem to go about their work with only the resident's interests and needs to the fore. They always seem cheerful with smiles for everyone and are a credit to the whole team involved.
I look forward to my weekly visits to see my very dear friend. She is always comfortable and happy, so clean and tidy. She loves to talk on most occasions but everyone ensures that she is hydrated and all her needs are catered for. I am always made to feel welcome, would highly recommend the care home.
All the staff are extremely attentive to my mum's (and everyone else's) needs. There are a myriad of activities in the afternoons keeping the residents occupied and active. Still impressed by the variety of equipment required to cater for various residents' needs. And the food still gets highly rated by my mum! Overall, very good.
My mother has been very happy and well cared for. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Many thanks.
I cannot recommend the Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home highly enough. The quality of care that they provide and the professionalism, compassion and kindness of all the staff and management are extraordinary. They treat everyone with respect and as human beings - and this includes visitors as well as residents and each other. My mother has now been with them for ten months and throughout her stay, she has consistently received the best possible care in every respect. When she first arrived at the home, following a major stroke, the hospital did not hold out much hope for any improvement to her condition. Despite their pessimism, however, the nursing care that she has received at the home has been so good that she is making a remarkable recovery. There is a lovely, friendly, calm and happy atmosphere throughout the home and I am sure that this has also helped her recovery. She also speaks very highly of the staff and the care that she receives and also of the food provided.
The staff really care/the food is excellent.
The staff seem very kind and caring. The staff always give an impression of cheerfulness and attentive to the patients. Other patients I have spoken to enjoy living here.
The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home is friendly and welcoming. The carers and nurses treat the residents with dignity and respect, nothing is too much trouble. Some carers have been working at the home for a number of years and new carers that joined have been very good and kind. The home is well-managed and thought is put into how to make the experience better for residents. A lot of effort is made to make sure residents have a happy birthday by the activities team who also ensure any special occasion is celebrated as well as organising daily activities. There is an arrangement with the library to lend books to residents on subjects they enjoy. The home is clean, fresh and tidy and the food is very good. The home is in a perfect location to visit parks and gardens with a wheelchair. I would definitely recommend this nursing home.
All of the staff are kind, friendly and thoughtful and the nurses and carers are very quick to spot potential medical issues before they can become a problem.
Very welcoming, cheerful, warm and caring staff. Our visits have always encouraged us that my sister is getting outstanding care.
Always a pleasant experience to visit my relation (sister). Staff and residents seem happy and patients are very well cared for. The home appears clean and well cared for. I am most happy for the provision and care afforded to my sister and am grateful that a place was found for her.
My partner has been bedbound for some months. During this time, she has been given kind and caring attention by staff. Recently, she has been able to be put into a wheelchair and taken for local walks. Staff have treated her sensitively and gently when putting her in the chair and later returning her to bed.
After a spell in hospital, my husband was discharged into the safe hands of this lovely nursing home. The warmth of their smiling welcome extends to residents, families and visitors alike. You are instantly absorbed into the friendly family atmosphere. My husband has nothing but praise for the excellent plentiful food and there is tea and coffee on tap for all. His care and safety have never been in doubt. Our thanks and appreciation go to every member of staff for ensuring his stay has been as comfortable as possible.
