View Full Details of Rutland Manor Nursing HomeMy Dad has been a resident at Rutland Manor Nursing Home for over 2 years and after him being in a couple of care homes prior it is lovely to have him in such a caring environment, where the staff are all respectful, caring and helpful not only to Dads needs but to seeing Mum and family are fully involved where we can be. Must acknowledge the cooks too who make the most delicious meals and for inviting us to stay to have a meal with Dad. Thank you to everyone at Rutland for doing what you do so brilliantly.
My father has been a resident for just over 12 months. We cannot fault the care home in any way. It's always a pleasure to visit, all the staff are always welcoming. The care and respect they show my father means a lot to me and my family. A special thank you goes to the manager and two members of staff, in particular.
My dad is a resident of Rutland Manor Ilkeston. We visit him regularly and he's happy and well cared for. The staff are attentive and kind and always helpful. We have meals with Dad sometimes which is lovely. Plenty of parking in the on-site car park if you're in the car.
Our Dad has been under the care of Rutland Manor Nursing Home for just over a year. During this time he has received excellent care. My family and I cannot praise the care home enough. The staff are always welcoming and helpful and treat the residents as family. A special mention about the Manager, she goes that extra mile to help everyone, and we are extremely grateful for her help.
Our mum has now been under the care of Rutland Manor Nursing Home for just over one year. During this time, she has consistently received excellent care. The staff always show compassion and know when just a simple hug is the right thing to do. The food and activities provided are excellent with plenty of variety to keep the residents engaged. We appreciate Mum is receiving the best long-term care.
I'd just like to say what a wonderful place Rutland Manor is. My mum has been a resident there for about 6 months and the care she gets is second to none. All the staff are so helpful, especially the manager, she goes that extra mile to help everyone. My mum couldn’t settle at other places she’s been in, but at Rutland Manor she really is comfortable. Thank you to all the staff. Kind regards.
My mum has been cared for at Rutland Manor for nearly 12 months. They make every effort to understand her complex needs. They have been very focused on ensuring medication is taken in my mum's best interests. They are kind and caring and try very hard to meet the diverse range of challenging needs within the home.
My dad has been in Rutland Manor for a few months now. The care given is second to none. The residents are treated like family, and the staff are always smiling and talking to the residents and visitors. My dad has complex needs due to dementia, but they are so relaxed and friendly around him, which makes him visibly happy and calm. There is always someone to talk to and update me about Dad when I call or visit. As a family, we can’t thank them enough. 10/10 for love, care, cleanliness and professionalism. From a very grateful daughter.
Rutland Manor is a "home" in every sense of the word. The Staff are all extremely dedicated to making the Residents' lives as happy as possible. My dad has been there just short of three years and is comfortable and content in both the communal spaces, as well as his own room. Both nurses and carers allow him the freedom to be who he is, whilst attending to all his care needs. On the few occasions when there have been health concerns outside the Dementia, the Manager and staff are fastidious in phoning with information to the family. Every calendar occasion is celebrated here and all are encouraged to join in. A great deal of time thought and effort is put into making parties relevant and homely. All of the staff are unfailingly cheery, and when visiting it is clear to see the naturalness of staff/ resident relationships; they know each other and the support is visible. I would recommend this place as one where your relative will be cared for and loved as a family member.
I would just like to say an enormous thank you to the staff and manager of Rutland Manor Nursing Home. My partner passed away there yesterday and I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for him. They were compassionate, caring, helpful and respectful of my partner. Couldn’t have wished for better care for him. Thank you all so much.
We as a family are very touched that the time has been found to contact us about our mother/mother-in-law and her well being in this time of crisis. Thank you from all of our family.
Very welcoming entrance, all staff that we made contact with were extremely friendly and helpful in all ways. Nice, cosy rooms for residents and very warm. Carers are very attentive and considerate.
