View Full Details of Haddon House Care HomeThank you very much to Ilkeston Haddon House Care Home. All your care, love and service you gave to my father. Everyone there went above and beyond. Very happy and appreciative of your work Safe and highly recommended.
After Mum being in 2 different care homes, Haddon House outperforms both of them. The place has a friendly and homely feeling. The staff are always attentive to the residents and I often see them interact, support and have the best interaction skills I have seen. I have no concerns at all. The nursing care is also fabulous, everyone is amazing. I also love that they often do activities.
A wonderful friendly home with a great manager and great staff. The food is wonderfully cooked with great variety and presentation. Haddon House is wonderful with my mother-in-law and would highly recommend it.
Staff are fantastic, always willing to chat and ease any worries or concerns. The home is always clean and tidy. The food/drink is lovely, residents are given plenty of options to choose from.
A wonderful care home with wonderful staff. Meals are proper home-from-home meals and presented lovely. One big happy family, Haddon House Nursing Home.
Staff are freidnly and welcoming as you arrive and they are always willing to go the extra mile for residents. In my honest opinion, I think activities require a few changes as most residents are left out or not engaging in certain activities on offer. The bedrooms are well-presented and clean. The home is very secure and safe with regular checks.
The home is always very clean and tidy. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. My uncle is always well-groomed, clean and tidy and is quite happy whenever I visit. The carers are very friendly and it has a homely feel at Haddon House, a warm atmosphere. I cannot comment on my uncle's room as I have been in it.
My mum has been a resident at Haddon House for almost 3 years. She is treated with the utmost respect and dignity. My mum can be somewhat difficult at times but nothing phases her amazing carers. Gold. My mum is treated like the queen and does not go unnoticed.
Plenty going on last month. The care as usual is wonderful. My dad had a chest infection which was sorted out very quickly. Staff are amazing.
My mother has received excellent care at this home. She enjoys the activities very much and going out with the care coordinator. Communication could be better between staff, management and myself but I think this is due to lack of permanent staff.
I am confident that my sister is receiving the best care. The staff are very caring to my sister and are aware of my sister's needs. The staff are always very welcoming and approachable and are always willing to share any developments in my sister's condition. The staff make you feel like they are part of not only a 'care team' but are more like extended family. Cannot praise them enough.
I am more than happy with the care my dad has, staff are great always with him, even in challenging times with his dementia. Couldn't ask for him to be happier. Very pleased.
The staff at the home are very caring and empathetic, they keep me up to date with my father's welfare and suggest ways of improving things for him. I can see that he is well looked after and the staff adapt to his changing needs.
Very short staff, not very much stimulation.
My father had end of life care at this nursing home. He was cared for with the upmost dignity. He was showered, clean and had fresh clothing on each day. The manager and staff supported us as a family, often giving us support and hugs when we needed them the most. I recommend this service to anyone.
I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful and the building is always clean. The food looks good and well presented.
My wife has been in Haddon House for nine months now. She suffers from dementia and Parkinson's disease. I have never seen so much care and passion given by the care staff, as she gets from the girls at this home. They not only treat her well they also make her laugh and keep her happy. God bless you all at Haddon House.
I am very happy I choose this home, it is very much like home from home and family oriented. They take them out, the home, food and drink and care second to none. I would recommend the home to anyone, my friend is very settled.
I am happy with mum's care and the staff are very good with her.
Staff settled my Uncle into Haddon House even under the extreme conditions of lockdown. They have encouraged visits where possible, asked for personal items and clothing and accessories to make my Uncle and his room comfortable and homely. Staff contact my Aunt regularly and always feedback to her on how my Uncle has been. It has been so hard letting go of a loved member of the family at this time. Staff have acted above and beyond answering all of our questions and queries. The service provided by Haddon House has been exceptional - making my Uncle feel at home and loved in a time when the family are not able to visit as much as we would like. Thank you, Haddon House staff.
