View Full Details of Tynefield CourtI was very very looked after during my time there with great support to help me to depend on survive on my own. The food was great cooked by their chefs and the care from their senior carers was exceptional.
Very good care, always go above and beyond. Very polite and helpful. Couldn't wish Grandad to be in a better place. Great work, keep it up.
Great care when needed.
Dad was initially admitted for assessment, because of the quality of care he received we decided for him to remain at the care home. Dad's condition means his needs are quite demanding but the environment, food, room, and thoughtfulness of the staff are very good and cater for his needs. Dad recently suffered a medical emergency - the reaction and attention by the staff was exemplary.
The staff here are fantastic, extremely friendly and can't do enough to help. The level of care they provide around the clock is outstanding. The food is excellent, the home is spotlessly clean in both the residents' rooms and communal areas. I am very confident that my grandad is safe and well cared for.
I came in to visit a friend that was staying at Tynefield, and I have to comment on the outstanding professionalism that was shown to me by the care staff and nurses. I was made to feel welcome, and at the time of my visit, noted activities going on, and the residents appeared to be so happy. The manager was so approachable and warm when I asked questions relating to my friend's options on returning home. All in all, a stunning home and a warm environment. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone.
My mum is at Tynefield Court and has been for some time. My mum has always been well cared for by the team. They are polite, respectful and courteous. The food is well presented and always looks and smells lovely. The home has not always been the most popular in the area but with a good dedicated manager, its reputation has improved immensely over the years. Well done to the team. The home is always welcoming and the team want the best for all their residents. I am happy and content with my mum living at Tynefield Court.
Lovely friendly place, the staff were all lovely and the care provided for my brother was amazing. The rooms are decorated very well and nice and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming especially the manager, a lovely home would recommend.
My dad was admitted to the home for the last couple of weeks of his life he was very cared for and the staff and management were very supportive. As my dad passed away early in the morning I was called to go and sit with him, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, tea and coffee was offered and after my dad the staff came in and supported me. Would recommend this home to any loved one.
We could not have wished for better care than my mum received during her stay, over 4 weeks, for end of life care at Tynefield Court. All staff treated my mum as if she was their own mother. They were extremely attentive, gentle, caring and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. They also looked after our family when visiting, ensuring our visits were as stress-free as could be possible, in the circumstances. We have and will certainly be recommending Tynefield Court to anyone requiring similar care.
My grandma is receiving end of life care here. I’ve visited several times in the last week or so. All the food I’ve tried before helping grandma has been tasty and served at the right temperature. All the staff I have had dealings with have shown genuine empathy. And most importantly my grandma tells me she is being well looked after and is happy. At this difficult time, thank you.
Of the little staff they have, they are the most unprofessional and quite frankly rude staff. Virtually no care or concern has been displayed to my grandad and the attention/emergency buzzer in his room has never been answered in under fifteen minutes - if this was set off due to him having a fall, he would be laying there for fifteen plus minutes alone. None of the staff look like they want to be there. There’s virtually no entertainment for the residents, unlike other care homes that put on bingo, etc. Many items from my Grandads home that we have bought in to make him more comfortable disappear after twenty-four hours, with nobody knowing where they have gone. Do not be persuaded by the few positive reviews, if your relatives' welfare is your main concern, this is the last place you should send them.
My mum is in this home after a fall in hospital in which she fractured her femur and then had to have major surgery which was very traumatic for her. She was then welcomed by Tynefield Court which I can only describe as - with open arms. My mum is very happy as are we as a family, whatever you need explaining to you in terms that you understand, it is explained thoroughly. And another important thing to us, as a family, is the fact that she is treated like a family member. Thank you so very much for the care you are providing for my mum and us, as a family.
Whilst visiting a dear friend at Tynefield Court, my first impressions were good. Very warm and welcoming. Staff were caring and attentive towards residents. The manager was approachable and friendly.
Fantastic care and service - caring for a good friend of mine during a respite stay. Caring staff, lovely food, excellent ambience and feel to the home. All staff were professional and experienced, patient and kind.
At times a shortage of staff. Wifi very bad signal, very low. Waiting time for staff when called can be too long at times. The food is very good, but teatime there's room for improvement. Since May 2019, and a new manager has arrived, improvements are being made. Management, staff do the best they can and generally very happy with the home. Wifi is a big letdown as this enables me to keep in contact with my wife.
In the short time my dad was staying at Tynefield before he passed away he was supported 100% and more by the staff and management team. I couldn't have asked for any more from the care he received there. From the moment he was discharged from hospital to when he passed away. I would highly recommend Tynefield Court and would recommend anyone to arrange a visit and talk to the staff if they are thinking of a loved one that needs that extra care and support and cared for, knowing they will be in safe hands.
All staff are very caring and good and can't do enough for my dad at the home. It's a lovely atmosphere and staff always have a smile on there face Dad loves living there and is very happy with the care, food and his room.
Friendly and very welcoming, took away all the stress and worries that we had. Nothing is too much trouble. The care team are approachable and meet the needs identified. The home is always clean and tidy.
Excellent service provided. Care staff are polite and friendly and made my brother feel at home straight away, especially under the current circumstances. The facilities are excellent and the care team respond to any issues in a timely manner.
