View Full Details of Western Mount LodgeMy friend moved into Weston Mount Lodge approximately four years ago. And the quality of care he has and is receiving is excellent. My friend, at times, can express lots challenging behaviour but I have to say, all the staff manage this so well with compassion, understanding and kindness for which I thank everyone so much. They had a new manager this year who has worked so hard to bring in lots of extra training, team building and of course, great activities. Especially the Christmas party which I was lucky to join in with. It's really obvious how hard everyone had worked to make it such a success. The home itself is spotless and very welcoming to other professionals and visitors. The food is also excellent and all dietary needs met. It's a home I will recommend to anyone who wants your family or friend who move there to feel valued and loved. A big thank you to you all.
My relative recently moved into Western Mount Nursing Home from a hospital setting, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care they are receiving. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home. The food is delicious and home-cooked, far exceeding the quality of what we experienced in the hospital. It's comforting to know my relative is enjoying nutritious and tasty meals. The management team goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly and that all the residents' needs are met. They have been a tremendous support during a challenging time, and I am incredibly grateful for their dedication. Thank you, Western Mount, for being there when we had nowhere else to turn. Your exceptional care and compassion have made all the difference.
It is not a good place at all, not clean or safe for residents and a generally run down and poorly managed home where no care goes into the actual care. We were lucky to get our family member out of here but many aren't so lucky.
I can't say enough great things about this home. The home itself is beautiful, a very lovely and traditional environment. The staff are the most delightful people. When you enter the home you can feel the warmth of it. My great-grandad does loads of different activities. He claims he's the best at bingo. But overall just a lovely home.
