From the moment my father went into Harley Grange he was met with care, compassion, dignity and respect. All his care was met and he was also kept comfortable. The staff are always friendly not just to dad but to all of the family making a difficult time more bearable and for that we as a family would like to say a special thank you to the whole team.

I was really impressed with every aspect of Harley Grange from the clean and comfortable surroundings to the care and compassion of the staff. My mum was with them for over 2 years and was cared for professionally, respectfully and with good humour. The staff were wonderful with my mum, they really 'got her' character and I am so grateful for the fact that they persisted through the difficult moments when she first went into the home. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place for a family member.

My father spent the last 8 weeks of his life here. I found the home in a beautiful setting, calm, friendly and efficient. The staff were lovely, caring and knowledgable. The night manager was particularly good, phoning me when my dad had a fall with empathy, concern and kindness. Thank you all at Harley Grange!

I had a happy stay after a hospital admission. The staff were constantly on hand to support and ensure your different needs were met. One was encouraged to interact and talk to other residents.

My partner was in this home for over a year until her death. The home is great but the best is that the staff are exceptional. That’s what makes a home. I send my thanks to them for looking after my loved one and also looking after me!

The home created a safe environment for my mum and took the pressure off the rest of the family. A true safe haven.

My overall experience of Harley Grange Care Home is very good. The atmosphere in the home is pleasant and friendly. The staff are kind, friendly and hardworking. The manager and admin assistant are both helpful, friendly and always happy to explain things. The only thing I was unhappy with was activities but this was unavoidable under the circumstances. Most of the time my father was there, there were no activities coordinator because of serious difficulties recruiting. When they did get someone she was very good, and very quickly developed a good rapport with the residents.

When Mum went into care she wasn't eating or drinking, the staff were so good and caring towards her and got her eating and drinking, giving us an extra six months with her. The care and dedication of all staff were remarkable and we cannot thank them enough. They truly are in mum's words 'angels'.

My father moved into Harley Grange Care Home in September 2022 from another care home. Since moving to Harley Grange he was well cared for. He was shaved daily, clean and ironed clothes. The food was freshly made with plenty of choice. The carers are kind and compassionate. The manager is readily available to answer any questions. In the three days leading up to my father's death, the staff were also supportive and caring to our family as well as Dad - nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent room, very welcoming and caring atmostphere. Staff very helpful and compassionate. Some ratings not known as my brother has only been there 10 days.

The staff at Harley Grange Care Home are friendly and helpful. They take time to chat to my dad and check he has everything he needs. The nursing staff keep me up to date with how Dad is and any changes/treatments. Dad has plenty of natural light in his room and can see trees out the window. He is encouraged to do his exercises.

Very welcoming home, staff are attentive, caring and friendly. My dad settled in lovely and is really thriving. It's like being home from home. Nothing is too much. I feel comforted knowing my dad is safe and being well cared for at all times, my dad says it's like being on holiday.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Mum enjoys seeing them and is very happy to be there. Her room is very nice and clean. The home has a very happy atmosphere. I would not hesitate in recommending Harley Grange Care Home.

My mum was very happy in Harley Grange Care Home, her room was nice and clean with adequate space. The staff were friendly and very kind and caring. Mum was well looked after it showed in her smile whenever I went to visit.

Mam spent the last 2 years of her life at Harley Grange Care Home. I could not fault the care she received or the service that was delivered especially in the most trying of times (Covid). Always felt she was well attended to. I was kept well informed by the staff. Would easily recommend Harley Grange Care Home.

My comment on all of the items listed is excellent. They cared for my husband (90 years old) and they were kind, considerate and attentive to me at a very difficult time. Harley Grange cared for my husband for 3+ weeks (20/6/21 until 14/7/21) when we arranged for him to return home - his wish to continue care in his own home.

I found the staff friendly and helpful. The place is clean and always tidy. I find in these difficult times it is very difficult to see my sister and you are doing your best within the law.

My aunt seems well-cared for and is quite happy and relaxed. There is a pleasant atmosphere and the general staff are friendly. The management is a bit defensive and could be more approachable.

Harley Grange has always provided excellent care. Since the virus lockdown, they send regular newsletters and photographs of your relative. So although you cannot visit them you can still see what they have been up to and how they are looking.
