View Full Details of Hayes Park Nursing & Residential HomeSince mum has been in the home (13 weeks) she has thrived! As a family we can relax knowing she is being cared for by professional staff. We are confident that all her needs are being managed whether medically or being stimulated by the engagement team. Whenever we visit or call, regardless of who we talk to, they know who mum is and can give us a general update on her well being and activities.
The staff are so friendly, helpful and caring. Always happy to see us, and Mum has a good relationship with them.
Staff are very friendly and hard working.
Just wanted to send a big thank you to all the staff at Hayes Park who made my aunt's 80th Birthday a very special day. There were lots of lovely messages given to her throughout the time we visited, she had a lovely cake to eat and some celebratory decorations. We spent some lovely quality time in the home's setting that was familiar and comforting for my aunt. Thank you.
I am very pleased with the quality of care my mother has had and the hard-working staff there. There is always some kind of entertainment going on; bingo, drawing, exercise and much more. Thank you all at Hayes Park Nursing & Residential Home.
The care and support my wife has at Hayes Park has been exceptional. The staff and nurses have shown so much love and care. I feel so grateful and reassured that when I am not there, my wife is taken care of. The rooms are clean and regular visits by the cleaning staff are amazing. The management have been so supportive and constantly checking in to ensure everything is up to a high standard.
My Mother-in-Law has resided at Hayes Park for over 2 years now and is content and her needs well catered for as she is confined to bed/wheelchair. During this time she has grown in confidence by mixing with the other residents and joining in the various fun activities organised by the staff. She has also gained weight! The staff recently helped us to celebrate her 91st birthday by providing a warm room with tables/chairs etc for close family to attend which we all enjoyed immensely. All staff are friendly and always available for a face-to-face chat when we visit and as we are able to have email and telephone contact with the manager/nurses/office staff any concerns or queries are immediately responded to. We are also kept well up to date with her daily life by photographs and comments posted on the home's online page. We do and we would highly recommend this care home to others.
Only been here for 1 week, has taken Mum time to settle in. All the staff we have come into contact with have been very friendly, caring, and made us feel welcome. As for care to my mum - care staff have showed a caring nature, have spent quality time in providing care, is taking time for Mum to get used to, but care staff are polite and caring and providing quality of care at same time promoting/empowering independence. It meets the needs - language, food, religion - well done.
We have only had a positive experience with the facility and especially the carers at Hayes Park. My father has been there for several months now, and in that time he has been looked after extremely well. The staff are amazingly caring, pay attention to the details and crucially actually spend time with the residents and treat them with love and dignity. They set up frequent activities to keep everyone occupied, are aware and attentive to the medical details, and also keep family in the loop. The rooms and space are clean and well looked after, and they also have good security in place for peace of mind. Overall, this is a wonderful and safe place, with the most amazing staff you could ask for.
Beenhere is a service user for about 18 months. I enjoy living here. I get my freedom to go out with family as and when I want. I'm offered a reasonable amount of good food. Staff and nursing staff are great players, always ready to give help or advice.
Hayes Park Nursing & Residential Home could not have been more helpful when we wanted to celebrate my parents sixtieth wedding anniversary, they provided a separate small room to allow my mum and dad and a few relatives to celebrate (within the confines of the existing Covid rules) and not to overwhelm my mum who has dementia. All I can say is thank you it was a brilliant success and a memory for my dad.
I go to see my dad every Wednesday, he has been there for over a year now. He always tells me all about the staff and how they are all friendly. When I go in, the staff all take me to my dad and I love it there. We are grateful to them for helping me and my dad.
Management - always available and accessible to discuss anything, polite and very professional. Carers - smiles always on their faces, very caring of all residents alike no matter what is required or their needs. Nurses - always at hand, any concerns regarding medication or patient requirements prompt at responding to anything. Handyman - very helpful, polite and courteous will help with anything anytime.
My whole family have been delighted with my mother's progress, given that she initially arrived at Hayes Park Nursing & Residential Home some fifteen months ago on an end-of-life care pathway. The progress my mother has made is due to the standard of care she has received over the past year. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday and the staff were most helpful in enabling the family to celebrate with her.
Both my parents came to this care home 2 years ago and have received excellent care. Sadly Dad passed last year but the care Mum continues to receive has been consistently top class, from management, nurses and carers, also catering and housekeeping staff. The home is light and airy, with a vibrant multicultural community and a cheerful atmosphere, staff working well as a team and also making effort to celebrate events of all faiths. A fabulous variety of fun and stimulating activities are also provided, residents clearly enjoying the chance to do exercise, a craft or bingo etc and have a laugh and chat together. Mum enjoys her meals, which have visibly improved her well-being, the cooking always smells good, with individuals' requirements well catered for. Good communication between care home staff and NHS visiting staff, I am always updated and feel that Mum's needs have been genuinely addressed - a credit to all concerned and huge thanks from us!
Overall a good home. Sometimes residents wait a long time for the toilet, which can be upsetting. Can seem short staffed at times. Night time response is very slow.
I have never seen my wife finish a period of two weeks respite care looking so well, and in such good spirits. I visited her several times to share lunch, staff were very attentive helpful and pleasant. Registered nurses and management happy to discuss her care needs at all times. No hesitation wit regard to booking further visits.
Very good.
I found the staff extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble (lovely ladies). I cannot praise them highly enough. The food is excellent.
I have been extremely impressed by the professionalism and friendly approach by the staff. I have been kept well informed and this is clearly a very well-organised establishment. The staff are very efficient and welcoming. They are very hard working.
