At home I use a wet room BUT compare to going to Beckside for a luxury bath; their is no comparison. It is joyous! the atmosphere is so good, who makes the atmosphere THE STAFF.

Our family had to make the difficult decision to place my father in a care home six years ago and we are so grateful that he was able to spend his final years at Beckside. The staff showed nothing but kindness and compassion towards my father throughout his stay and it is a testament to their professionalism and expertise that we were able to spend so much precious time with him. They kept him safe during all the various lockdowns and have continued to work so hard throughout in some exceptionally testing circumstances. All the staff - housekeepers, kitchen staff, carers, administrators, maintenance, managers and nurses - always took the trouble to get to know us and Dad, treating him with dignity and respect. In his final days, we were so touched by the number of staff who took the time out of their busy day or at the end of their shift to visit Dad in his room and spend a few minutes with him. They showed my father and our family the meaning of the word 'care'. Thank you.

Our mum came to Beckside for end-of-life care. The kindness, attention and care she received was outstanding. With such nursing care, Mum rallied and became a permanent resident and stayed two and a half years! In Mum's words, 'I am very happy here, everyone is so kind. The food delicious and entertainment great'. She never felt alone and she felt safe. Even in her final moments, she was surrounded by familiar staff. Thank you one and all Beckside.

A close friend I had looked after for many years had to go into a care home we chose Beckside. She was only there a few weeks but she could not have been in a better place. It's like a big family, the staff are wonderful so caring and thoughtful at all times, nothing was ever too much trouble. The place itself is bright and cheery and being on one level was perfect, they have regular entertainment on and activities and you can visit when you like. When looking for a care home Beckside is the perfect place, so very happy we found it.

Words cannot express the praise I have for Beckside sufficiently. In my past role as a social care tutor, I have seen many residential care homes. None of them remotely match Beckside in care standards. Visiting Beckside is a joy because there is an overwhelming feeling of love and happiness. There is a family atmosphere, excellent teamwork and standards of care. One word summarises Beckside, it is love. Thank you so much.

I feel my stepmother was very well cared for and we're very lucky that she was able to stay there, whenever we visited, the staff made us very welcome and kept us well-informed of her condition.

The care my father received in his final year at Beckside was wonderful. All the staff were so friendly and kind, not only to my father but to us too. I cannot praise them enough.

Great residential and respite care home situated in a quiet part of North Hykeham, Lincoln. Our dad's care was excellent. All staff genuinely care. Dad enjoyed the social element of the home, the activities and entertainment were very beneficial to him. The nursing and care staff I met and who looked after my dad were lovely people. He couldn't have spent his last few months anywhere better.

Many thanks to all sections of Beckside for helping to make my husband feel settled and loved during his last few months. He was always treated with care and respect and a loving care was shown at all times to all the family. Beckside is an exceptional place. Thank you all.

Dad was looked after in Beckside for a total of 20 months with a break in the middle. The staff are so kind and caring, always ready to talk to you even though they are busy. Accommodation is clean with various types of room available. Having experienced three other care homes over the last few years, Beckside is far superior.

We could not have asked for a better place for my mother to end her days. The staff are hard-working and friendly, and Beckside is clean and welcoming.

My brother was admitted for end-of-life care. He was treated with the utmost dignity by the staff, who were excellent in every department. Nothing was too much trouble and the atmosphere of the home exuded happiness and good humour. Home is the correct title for this facility, which is run in a professional and humane way. Thank you.

The whole team at Beckside Care Home were simply superb, caring for my dad in the last weeks of his life. His room was comfortable and had all the facilities he needed. The gardens/patio area was a particular highlight and is a great place for residents to get some fresh air and sunshine. The staff were attentive and compassionate at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you everyone at Beckside.

My dad was looked after by the staff at Beckside for the last 3 weeks of his life. The home is immaculate, the staff are the most caring and compassionate people I could have wished to be looking after my dad. Nothing was too much trouble and they didn't just look after him they looked after us too. Fate took us to Beckside so the staff could take care of him!

My Nanna spent 3 months in Beckside to rehabilitate after a short stay in hospital. She settled so well at Beckside and loved the staff and they treated her so well. They are so caring, fun and respectful to the needs of the residents, nothing was too much trouble for them. There were different activities every day for everyone to join and the lady that runs the entertainment loves to have fun and get everyone involved. Nanna loved her time in Beckside and she thrived and when her health deteriorated she wanted to stay with her Beckside family around her rather than go back to hospital. When the end was near all the staff at Beckside couldn’t have been more supportive and accommodating to her family and made us feel welcome at any time of the day. They really cared about giving their resident the best experience and I can honestly say they delivered 100%. I can not recommend them more highly - thank you to all the team!

My dad was so happy while in Beckside, the staff were all lovely, and caring and had a joke and laugh with him. I miss coming in as the staff were so lovely.

Beckside Nursing Home is a team. A team that offers outstanding care, support and professionalism of the highest order. My mum's recent stay, prior to her sad passing, is full of wonderful care that meant her entire time at Beckside was a blessing to her and also to us. Words like care, support and dignity are overused by some care homes, here it is and understatement. I cannot thank Beckside enough. Outstanding.
