View Full Details of St Clare's Care HomeDad have developed a great relationship with his carers, who I feel care for him greatly. His wellbeing is paramount to their day-to-day activities, and nothing is a bother for Dad when he asks for help. Dad is always clean, warm and safe which puts my mind at ease. His meals are well prepared, plentiful with wholesome ingredients and if he misses a meal due to resting he is always provided with a meal on waking. The rooms are basic but once you add your loved one's possessions, they are homely. Activities are available for those who wish to participate these are weekly and at special events (Chrismtas, Easter). The library is well stocked. As a visitor I am always made to feel welcome and any concerns we have as a family are listened to. We are always made aware of any concerns/issues. No one wants their loved one to become a care home resident but here at St Clare's Dad is part of a new loving family but still part of our family.
My mum has been in home since Sept 2024 and is happy well looked after by all the staff mealtimes are absolutely lovely .....great activities daily ....all residents are lovely thank you to all staff x
My dad was a resident at St. Clares for 20 months until his death. It was a hard decision to put my dad in a care home but he had the best care ever the manager and all the staff at St. Clares helped my dad settle in and were all lovely to him. They went out of their way to make the experience lovely for my dad. They even took him to see the brass band he used to play in play. The building is lovely it's all on one level and has a nice outside courtyard for the residents to sit in. I would definitely if you are looking for a care home that you give this one a try.
My Mum has been a resident at St. Clare's Care Home for a few months now and I couldn't be happier with the care, compassion and support she has been shown. For personal reasons I can't visit as often as I would like but I feel confident she is completely safe and being well looked after. The home is always clean and smells fresh and the food is lovely. The staff, in every role, are approachable and have been really supportive towards me during Mums transition into residential care. High recommended.
My mother was here for a short period until her sad passing. The staff here, that's all the staff are brilliant, friendly, sympathetic and warm-hearted. Always seemed to help and were a great support when my mum passed. I cannot highly recommend this care home.
I'd like to thank all the staff at St Clare's Care Home, from the bottom of my heart, for caring for my dad, with such kindness and compassion, over the past year. Also, I could not have wished for better care for him, as he lay dying. You are a lovely group of people and I will always remember you with fondness. Thank you.
If you are looking for a safe and warm environment for your loved one, I’d recommend St Clare's. My grandma has been here since January 2023 and requires significant care. The home has been absolutely fantastic; she is always clean and presentable and, first and foremost, safe. The food is incredible, all freshly prepared, proper home-cooked meals and puddings. Lots of activities for all different events. All the care staff are really welcoming, and the rooms are well-equipped. Furthermore, they have significant equipment for those with advanced physical disabilities. I can leave my grandma here in the knowledge she is safe, which is ultimately what it’s all about.
Upon visiting my mum at St Clare's care home I find it is lovely and clean smelling very fresh, unlike most care homes. The staff are very friendly and take great care of my mum I'm very pleased with the care they give.
Brilliant Team, very helpful and always lovely to speak with, and never had any problems. They have looked after my mum for a long time now and I feel very confident that my mum is well looked after and has everything that she needs at this difficult time for her.
My nan has been staying with you for a number of years now. I have seen the care she receives and can honestly say, I believe, she has thrived since her arrival. Seeing her smile and laugh with the carers and other residents is lovely. I can tell all of the staff there really do care. I believe that we have gained precious time and memories with Nan that my children will also cherish that wouldn't have been possible had she not been a resident there. Thank you for looking after her so well.
My mum has been a resident at St Clare's since 2019. I can only give all of the staff that work at the home 11 out of 10 for all that they have done/are doing through an extremely difficult time, not only for my mum but all of the residents. I regularly look at St Clare's Facebook page, and my mum always looks very happy and often is participating in all the fun activities that have been arranged. I just cannot speak more highly of them all as they are such a super caring group of people, and since Mum has been there, I have been able to sleep at night knowing she is safe. So a big thank you, St Clare's; I cannot thank you all enough.
This is one of the best care homes I have seen in Lincoln. All staff are amazing, very caring and also have a brilliant sense of humour which makes them more amazing. Care staff are very caring, and senior carers, although always very busy, are very effective in the role they play; whenever we've had any queries or matters that needed attending, they are the first to help. They really all go above and beyond. The manager is very helpful whenever she is needed or addressed and is overall a very caring manager. The home feels very homely when you walk in, and you are always treated with respect.
My mum came here when her dementia deteriorated. It was hard choosing a care home that we thought maybe right for her, especially during the Covid situation. Mums dementia can be a challenge, but the staff take this in their stride and know how to calm her down. It’s taken a big weight off of our families shoulders, knowing she is safe and being well looked after.
