View Full Details of Eastholme Nursing HomeCaring, friendly staff. However, didn't seem to have time to spend with people. I was in the home on respite basis for rehab. Home very clean, no smells. Food is good. Pleased I'm back home. Management not visible - no idea who they were.
My mum has been a resident for seven years. I cannot praise the staff enough, they treat Mum with kindness, dignity, and as if she were their own family. My mum clearly loves them all, you can see her eyes light up when they come in. She is well cared for both physically and mentally. Thank you to all the staff for their dedicated care.
All the staff were courteous and hopeful. Nothing was too much trouble for them to help. Staff made me feel at ease during my short stay.
Dementia changes people and all the team who work at Eastholme got to know my father-in-law and they changed with him, every step of his journey. They care about him, night and day. They welcome any way to make his life more comfortable. We are always welcome too, the door is always open. I am grateful for their high standards and their patience.
My mother has been a resident in Eastholme for 5 years. I visit approximately 4 times a week. The home is well managed and kept very clean. The staff are caring and polite. Any issue or concern/question I have raised has been addressed speedily and satisfactorily. My only concern is I feel there should be a member of staff in the communal areas at all times where possible.
Nursing staff absolutely super. Everybody really nice and helpful.
My husband was in the home as a short stay from leaving the hospital. It was lovely, the staff were kind and the place had a gentle feel. It was warm and he was cared for well. Management were visible - the place flowed through with ease. It was well run.
Mum was referred here for transitional care, until she recovered the use of her legs. Everyone was very kind, helpful, obliging and respectful to mum. They all will miss all the carers now she is home. I would most definitely recommend Eastholme Nursing Home to anyone.
My husband was well looked after her during his stay. The staff were very friendly, attentive and considerate to his needs.
We attended Eastholme's summer fete after our mother has left the home, we were flattered to receive an invite as mum has only been there for a short stay. Staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. Activities provided were excellent.
The care and standard are very high, they not only look after my husband, they are always kind to me as well. I feel my husband is very safe here.
For me this has been a welcome experience and though staying in care has its inevitable drawbacks for all, I've learnt a lot about various kinds of people here which all adds to my understanding of life and its vicissitudes. The carers (nurses, cleaners, house keeper etc) have been professional and generous with their time, attention and interest. I've noticed there is so much to be done here and considering the variety of tasks and problems that obviously arise I am amazed at how cheerfully they deal with all.
