Unwelcoming to the patient, the attitude towards family was dreadful. Care was non-existent and they were unable to handle the situation. Upon leaving we took her straight to the GP to have her checked over.

Mum was moved from Hospital to Thackley for rehab and assessment. Adult Social Care and the Thackley care staff have been exemplary in their duties, and she is now moving forward in her progress. Thoroughly recommend this facility.

After a visit to the hospital, Mum who is 85 was lucky to be accepted at your Care Centre to convalesce and gain her confidence in which she did. Thank you all so much for everything that you did to help mum. Oh and by the way mum thoroughly enjoyed the meals.

This place is amazing. All the staff are professional and extremely caring. My Mother has been here for three weeks and is so settled she calls it home. It has the right balance of care, leaving the residents feeling safe but with a level of independence. The atmosphere is lovely, everyone is made to feel so welcome. My Mother is a very fussy eater and is catered for very well. Would strongly recommend, really can’t fault it here.

Although this establishment states it provides specialist care for people with dementia I would completely disagree. My father regressed drastically, staff are not adequately trained. My father suffered a broken arm and had multiple unwitnessed falls during his thankfully short stay. Multiple concerns raised which were not addressed effectively. Do not consider this establishment for anyone you love or care about. Shockingly poor treatment. Poor management and leadership. I do not expect this review to be printed as I believe the home cover up inadequacies and the group are ineffective at listening to constructive criticisms.
