View Full Details of Forest Manor Nursing HomeI cannot fault the care my husband is having in the care home. They are so good looking after him and I can rest and have peace of mind he is getting the care he deserves. Can't thank the staff for the work they are doing. In my eyes, they are all angels
In the beginning (which is probably due to lots of issues with my Mum's wellbeing and best interests). I was very sceptical about the Home, however, this worry/concern has long since gone, I can't fault any of the care and nursing teams, they go way beyond their call of duty daily, and keep me informed, if I ever have a worry they explain, or if they are unsure they will contact the GP nothing is ever too much trouble for all staff, the receptionist, greets us daily with a smile and a warm welcome. I appreciate all they do for mum, I always say they are the most thoughtful people but sadly at times they are the most thought least of by many. I feel bad but due to the residents that live within the care home it's a battle to keep on top of cleaning, but my mum's room is always clean, and the cleaners are always around, anytime I have had an issue they have seen to it immediately. The rooms are dated but clean. I have never eaten there but it looks good, it's hard to cater for all tastes.
The care in the home is excellent, the staff are friendly and attentive and treat all residents like a member of their family, but they are too busy and always running around. We have been told twice by accounts that we owe the home a lot of money when we have in fact paid every single month, we proved this about 6 months ago and spoke to someone to sort it out and then last month we got another letter chasing the same amount and saying that we hadn't paid again so we had to spend another couple of hours looking at bank statements to prove that all cheques had been cashed. The accounts clearly aren't being kept up to date. Not all of the rooms have ensuite which would be better.
At first, when we learned that my mother was going into a care home, we were a little worried, having heard experiences from other relatives at different care homes. However, our fears were unnecessary. Since being there at Forest Manor Nursing Home, my mum has received outstanding care from the first-class staff, and she is now slowly recovering. The management is always very pleasant and helpful.
Excellent, every staff member I've encountered has been friendly and helpful, and my grandma has nothing but praise for everyone. She has been well cared for - we both appreciate it so much.
During the most saddest time of my life, when my mum passed away as a resident, the staff (every single one of them) were so caring and compassionate. My mum was taken care of by wonderful, caring staff and went out of their way to help me, also during this time. I cannot thank them enough. Forest Manor is a diamond in care homes. Thank you.
Despite covid restrictions, I have found there is always a member of staff on the phone to answer my queries. It has been a difficult time for us all. Thank you to the manager and your lovely staff for keeping mum safe at this difficult time. Looking forward to seeing mum and you all as restrictions are lifting and hopefully get back to a more easier and normal time for everyone. Thank you all.
My husband was admitted to Forest Manor Nursing Home with advanced Parkinsons. His care has been excellent. All the staff treat him with extreme care and dignity in a friendly professional manner, always making sure his needs are met.
My mum has been in Forest Manor for about 17-months and is very settled. The staff are amazing and very caring. The manager is absolutely great and brilliant with residents and staff. Can't fault the place.
Can't recommend this home enough, the staff are amazing. Feel totally at ease that my dad is being looked after and treated with dignity and respect at all times.
My sister-in-law was transferred from Kings Mill Hospital for end of life care. She told us that she was cared for very well and did not want to be moved from there. We were very impressed by the care and compassion provided. We were also supported very well by all staff.
Dad was treated with care and dignity from the moment he was admitted until the day he died. I would recommend Forest Manor for any relative. The staff are Angels.
Dad was referred to Forest Manor for end of life care. Couldn't have sent him anywhere better (home from home). Staff were exceptional, nothing too much trouble. If ever I need a home, I hope I can come here.
Fabulous care home with a brilliant manager who makes sure everything is as it should be. All the staff are helpful and friendly; this home is a great flagship.
This is the ultimate in care for the vulnerable. It is lead by a manager who genuinely cares and it shows through translation in the staff. My aunt was at the end of her life and I had no worries at all. She was cared for as if she was their own, with dignity and love.
My dad's been in Forest Manor for almost a year now and the care is excellent. All the staff are helpful and very caring.
My mother spent the last 7 weeks of her life in Forest manor Nursing Home. Her care was excellent, she was always treated with care and dignity, treated like a member of the family. All staff were attentive and patient, very supportive during Mum's final days. The manager was caring and supportive, nothing was too much trouble. The home is spotlessly clean, no 'noxious aromas', and all residents are happy, clean and well dressed. A credit to the manager and 'family' of staff.
We as a family have no worries about care home. Very friendly and obliging staff. Mum always clean and they match clothes. The meals look lovely. The staff do her nails and hair. There is plenty of staff on so they have time to sit with the residents. I would definitely recommend the home to anyone. The rooms are lovely and clean.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mother receives at Forest Manor. All staff are very caring and work so hard to ensure the residents are well cared for and treated with dignity and respect. The staff know my mother better than I do now. Cannot believe the care she gets.
My brother-in-law is in this home, they take care of him in every way that is possible. We are very happy with the friendliness and warmth that we receive when we visit. All staff are very polite and caring and cannot do enough for us. The home smells lovely and fresh.
