The facilities are excellent with a current and superb team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Numerous activities are also provided to stimulate and entertain patients with complex conditions. With very minimal exceptions, staff are excellent in the performance of their various duties. All staff treat patients with dignity and demonstrate care and genuine concern. Any ailment, no matter how minor, is quickly and effectively addressed. Matters which could be improved upon are: 1) Communication at all and through all levels; 2) Extensive pigeon droppings/pest control; 3) Thorough cleanliness of all equipment including mobility and transfer aids.
My friend has been in your home for 18 months. Standards have improved latterly with new management. The staff are your best asset. All staff are passionate and caring. My friend has received excellent care when in EOL Pathway, equalling the levels of care at hospice. The main issues are communication which has improved, lack of correct seating/headrest chair.
During our visits to one of your service users, we have observed excellent care and good facilities provided. All staff we have encountered are friendly, professional and treat service users with respect and dignity.
Having been cared for since May 2021, my husband has had the best opportunity for rehabilitation. The staff are attentive, responsive, adaptable, open to suggestions and have provided us with the best care in complex needs. Holistic support on-site is most important, staff are professional and provide the best care appropriate to individual needs. Most impressive, we cannot thank you enough, especially in terms of identifying individual needs, then coming up with solutions.
On arrival at reception, I was asked to present my Lateral Flow Test, to fill in a form with my personal details and issued with PPE, the staff were friendly and I felt very much assured and comfortable on safety especially with Covid. The room for my brother-in-law is clean, felt fresh, aired and was lovely to see his personal items around him. The care staff had to enter several times during my visit to attend to him. Each time they knocked at the door and explained what they were going to do, asking if I wanted to stay or leave whilst they treated him, then I could. They would let me know when I could return if I chose to leave, they were very attentive to their patient, friendly and chatty with me. The corridors and rooms around the care home are clean and well looked after too. I found everyone to be really caring, attentive and approachable. I do not think they could have done anymore, I am very impressed with the staff, they excelled my expectations.
Son had a traumatic brain injury following a road traffic accident. The staff were very helpful, caring and reassuring. I was informed of any progress and exactly what care, physio etc my son was receiving. I was happy knowing my son was being cared for professionally, with care and understanding. My son arrived in a wheelchair and with all the help and support he was discharged being able to walk.
