View Full Details of The Royal Care HomeMy uncle was with The Royal Care Home for a few days only. I thought the staff were very helpful and kind. He was treated as an individual. I was able to say my goodbyes in privacy in a pleasant room which allowed us both some dignity. He died during the early house of that night but I am so grateful for that special goodbye. Hospitals do not offer the same chances.
Would like to say what a fantastic care home this was for my mother for 2 years, who sadly passed away in December. Nothing was too much trouble. All staff, management, nurses, carers, domestics, and one particular staff member who regularly made us all laugh on many occasions, would like to say a massive thank you.
Getting use to not having my husband at home, but care is very good and I know he's safe in this care home.
My father in law is a permanent resident at the care home. He was moved from hospital into the care home, he has Alzeimer's condition. The staff and management have been excellent with dad. He can be really bad at times and a handful but staff have the patience of a saint, really appreciate the hard work they do. Keep up the good work and thanks for everything you do from the family.
My mum came in following a stroke in July. The care my mum receives at the care home has been second to none. The whole team go above and beyond for her. Nothing is too much trouble for them. She has been settled since moving in in October.
Always greeted pleasantly. Staff prepared to discuss any care or welfare items or find the information. Mum seems to be happy and settled and cared for. Her room and surroundings (lounges, corridors etc) are clean and well maintained.
All the staff give excellent care to my dad. I have peace of mind knowing that he is well looked after. There is always plenty going on, you can be involved as much or as little as liked, pampering sessions, hair dressers, group activities or one to one etc. All the staff are friendly and approachable. The home is well run with a great manager, the home is very clean and the food menu has a good variety. Thank you to all the staff for looking after my dad so well.
My partner is very well looked after in The Royal Care Home. The staff are very dedicated and nice people. Anything I need to know, I just ask 2 members of staff who are the care home management. The Royal is very clean and tidy, not smelly like most I've visited.
Mum is like a changed person since going to The Royal Care Home. All the staff are lovely with her, she's eating food she's never eaten before and loving it. The Royal seem committed to ensuring days are filled with fun and distractions to keep people's minds busy. I couldn't have wished for more than they offer.
I live in Australia and my dad was in The Royal Care Home for nearly 12 months. Before passing a few days before Christmas. I called frequently and emailed as well, and the staff were so lovely and accommodating and helpful. I had a few regular nurses and admin staff I spoke to and they were wonderful. I couldn't fault the staff, after all, they are what make a care home wonderful. They are angels looking after our relatives and can't thank them enough. They all deserve a pay rise. The menu was great, always such lovely food and a great range. I saw this while visiting dad from Australia. While there, I felt the staff were always so busy and felt for them as it's a big responsibility, they all deserve pay rises. Thanks all, you are all angels.
Staff are great, cleanliness is great, food could be improved with a better budget for the cook, I think the agency staff aren't very good and let the standards regarding nursing slip. Overall the care home is great and staff are great the company should get extra staff and a better budget for them as they deserve it. Staff go above requirements of the job, even doing the garden each year. Would and do recommend.
Very happy with dad's care, always clean and tidy on family visits. Thank you to all the lovely staff.
My dad has been a resident at The Royal Care Home since October 2024 and we have been really, really pleased with his care. He is so well looked after and all the staff are so good to him, friendly respectful, caring and professional. We can't thank them enough.
Residents get very good, attentive care. All staff are very good at their jobs and have time for all the residents.
The care my Dad is given is excellent. Any issues which arise are dealt with promptly. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The Royal has been outstanding in their care for my sister. It is very well run and managed. The carers are without exception trained to a high standard and I've seen nothing but kindness towards my sister who needs total care. They take time to try and understand her needs even though she struggles with her speech. There is a good selection of food at meal times and alternatives offered. They have a space chair and hoist so are able to offer showers and bath. The rooms and other areas are kept spotlessly clean. Overall I think the management and staff deserve the highest praise for their commitment to the comfort of their patients.
My husband is well looked after, the carers and other staff are always pleasant and helpful. The food is very good and there's always a good menu.
I have always been treated nicely and polite and my friend seems very happy here. I only go regularly once a week but my friend is always happy when I go. They always include her in activities and she enjoys them.
My mother received excellent care at the nursing home, from management, nurses, carers, a cook and a handyman, all involved in her care. They were all pleasant and dedicated to their job and I can't thank them enough.
I have power of attorney and I'm next of kin for a lady I've looked after for 15 years, she is 87 and had to go into a nursing home as she's a bit poorly and had carers at home for quite a long time but had safeguarding issues. The care was shocking so we changed to a different company, a lot better but not to the standard it should be so I was advised to look for somewhere my friend could go for 24-hour care. I chose The Royal at Rossington, so glad I did, my friend is so comfortable and well cared for, nothing is too much trouble, she has a lovely pleasant room, she said the food is very good and told me I'm not coming home with you, I'm staying in this hotel. My friend after all these years has finally got what she rightfully deserves, expert care and compassion and the most important thing love so thank you everyone, my friend is happy and so am I.
