View Full Details of Westvilla Nursing HomeAlthough my mum was only here for a short time, the entire staff were so good to her, they were professional but friendly, helpful and caring, and the caring was genuine, this is not just a job to these staff, they really genuinely care. The best thing I ever did for my mum was to move her here, to spend her last days in the lovely, peaceful, caring, environment that these professionals provide. I will always be grateful to them, thank you to each and every one of you.
The care and compassion given to my mother in the final days of her life was outstanding. She was treated with dignity and sensitivity. In the last few hours of her life and after Mum had passed away, our family was looked after, offered refreshments and a place to sit quietly. Thank you to the staff of Westvilla for this excellent service.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Westvilla when my 95-year-old Mum was admitted after a short stay in hospital. She was there for twelve days and the last five of them laying comatose in bed where we couldn't wake her up. Westvilla wasn't our first choice of nursing home and when we asked for her to be moved we came up against a brick wall who was the manageress. She stalled us at every turn but eventually, she was transferred to our first choice. She is now receiving the care she deserves and is very alert and happy which is a big relief to me and the rest of her family. So if anyone is thinking of Westvilla as a place for their loved one please think again.
