View Full Details of Meadow Bank House Care HomeI can not thank you all enough for what you did for my dad. You made his last months as perfect as we could have wished. Every single member of staff looked after him so well. When the end was near the compassion everyone showed will stay with me forever. I really will miss Meadow Bank and all its amazing staff. Thank you from all our family.
Meadow Bank House is an excellent place for my Uncle. I am very happy with the care he's been given. My uncle can be very hard work at times, the way they deal with it is very good. The staff are amazing. When I leave to go home im very happy that I know my Uncle will get the best care given.
All the staff are very nice and pleasant to talk to, they make you welcome and they are very nice and friendly, it's the best care home in Bolton. I feel that my wife is well cared for.
There are some really lovely staff here, some of whom have been here quite a while. I often call without warning yet everything is always clean and pleasant. Mum has the freedom to stay in bed if she wants. She can then stay in her room, go in the lounge with the others, or play games in the dining room with friends (her favourite). If there are problems they phone me. They respect my comments/suggestions. They are always patient with her and she seems to be very happy.
We had to make a heartbreaking decision when mum was diagnosed with late onset Alzheimer's. We were so lucky to visit Meadow Bank House Care Home and met such wonderful carers and staff who put us at ease showing dignity and compassion whenever we came to visit mum. We can't thank them enough for their care commitment and dedication to their jobs. Mum is always happy and smiling and that's due to the care she receives. Thank you all/
I have no faults to report. My husband is well cared for. He enjoys the food.
All staff are very welcoming to all visitors to my friend and help access the keypads on all doors and lift. They have endeavoured to get to know my friend and have consistently provided personal care in a dignified way, ensuring she knows what they are doing. They are managing her difficult attitude towards nutrition and medication. My only criticism is the building and rooms need decorating.
I was so happy to get my husband into Meadow Bank at such short notice and everyone has been extremely wonderful with my husband with his conditions. Very informative and so very kind and I know all the staff involved in my husband's care a very kind. Give him the dignity he deserves. I have no issues with the help and support that is offered to me, his wife. I, my family and husband have had a lot of support from Meadow Bank. Thank you so much.
Since my partner moved in, the care and support we have both received have been amazing. Always willing to help, answer any questions but most of all a shoulder to cry on when needed. They have made my partner feel welcome and valued under the circumstances we are facing and always listen to him when he has concerns.
Great care home with lots of friendly staff that know the meaning of the words care and patience. Very clean and presentable at all times. No request is too much trouble, they are always happy to help out and do what is necessary to make the residents happy. I would highly recommend this care home.
My dad was only at Meadow Bank for about 10 weeks, for nursing care, but I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's impossible to comment on all aspects of his care in 1000 characters, but, like most families, we were very anxious about a loved one going into a care home setting. I can honestly say that once he was in there, we very quickly knew we had made the right choice. We never, at any point, had any cause for concern. We could visit whenever we wanted, it was spotlessly clean and the food was fantastic. We could speak to members of staff either over the phone or in person whenever we wanted, from the office team to the health care professionals. If we needed to know anything regarding Dad's care/current health, the team communicated really well with us. Most importantly, when it came to dads end of end-of-life care, they treated him with kindness, respect and absolute dignity. They were also extremely supportive of us as a family.
My mum has been in Meadow Bank House Care Home for three years. In this time, she has been well cared for, she is always clean and well dressed and she enjoys the company, as she lived alone previously. The staff go above and beyond to help and make the residents happy. Always celebrating different times of the year, entertainments etc. I would have no problem recommending this home. Thank you.
Our sister has been a resident at Meadow Bank House Care Home since 2018. In all that time, we have been extremely happy with the care received. All of my sister's family live in Ireland. The staff in Meadow Bank have been very understanding of this situation and have facilitated us to keep contact with my sister. When we visit from Ireland, they are always kind and welcoming.
My auntie has been a resident of the care home for almost three years now. Her dementia has got worse of late and she has mobility problems as well. The care home has been excellent with her, the staff are attentive and approachable and all her needs are taken care of in a timely manner.
Very good and caring staff. Quite happy with our cousin's care.
Very friendly and attentive staff and management. Lovely, atmosphere in the home; you are made to feel welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. Mum is treated with respect and dignity, and all the staff show her lots of patience and compassion. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a nursing placement for someone with dementia to approach Meadow Bank House Care Home.
I have been visiting my Aunt in Meadowbank since she was admitted. The staff are amazing and the care she is receiving is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. She is treated with dignity and respect. And any concerns or questions are followed up immediately.
My 91 year old mum had a fall in her home on 8th December 2022 and was admitted to Hospital. At the end of her stay there she had given up. Since being admitted to Meadow Bank House Care Home I've seen a complete change in mum's mental health. The change is nothing short of a miracle! The staff are all very friendly and mum clearly loves them. We've been able to bring in some of mum's personal possessions, including paintings, framed photographs and ornaments which mum loves. All in all the home is home-from-home where I know mum is safe and being well cared for.
My mum has settled in well here she says she feels safe and secure. The staff are amazing and treat my mum as a member of their family which I also feel part of! The food is good and she always gets a choice, my mum isn't really able to take part in the activities but I know there is plenty going on and the lady is amazing at organising all these! I would definitely recommend Meadow Bank to others as I feel my mum is looked after so well and I feel happy knowing she is safe.
My mum has settled very well into Meadow Bank House Care Home. This has taken some time, but with the help and support of the staff who care for mum; this has been achieved. I can now go and see Mum knowing that she is well cared for and is happy in her new establishment, this gives me ease and comfort. The staff are extremely friendly and very professional in their work. My mum's needs are met and she is kept clean; fed well; and the housekeeping is in good order. I am kept well informed about my mum's care. The home has recently appointed a new manager, and she seems to be very supportive of the staff and of new ideas. I was recently invited to a Relative/Friends Resident Meeting; which I found very informative; it also gave you a sense of belonging and being included. The meeting was very positive and a further meeting has been arranged. The only disadvantage I would say is the laundry. Mum's washing sometimes goes missing, or she has clothing that does not belong to her.
