So very happy with management, staff and care given to my other-in-law. She is treated with dignity and kindness. The manager has been so helpful to the family and we can always speak to someone and are not passed around. Thank you!
I am extremely grateful for all the care and support my mum had whilst living at Arden Ct. The team of carers and Nurses made her stay comfortable and well cared for. I knew that she was in safe hands which took a tremendous amount of pressure off me and the family. We visited most days and always found the staff welcoming, positive and friendly. It was a nice environment and there was always some form of entertainment and activities for the residents and family's to participate in. My mum was in a lovely bright room with a view of the garden and it was a nice place to visit. We will always be grateful for your care. Thank you
I think the staff are all very helpful and efficient. They are also conscientious when preforming their duties, and all with a smile.
My husband has been cared for at Arden Court for 13 months now. The care he receives is second to none. Everyone is so caring and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them all. I visit my husband most days and I feel like part of the family now. It's very reassuring as I never wanted him to go into care but I'm so glad he's settled in at Arden Court.
My first impression; efficient, caring, staff looking after Mother. She seems happy and I feel happy with the care she is receiving.
All the staff at Arden Court are very professional and friendly. I witnessed first-hand some great person-centred care. Thank you for making me feel welcome, I am looking forward to returning in the next few weeks.
I was worrying about what would happen in the sad event of my mother's passing. I was invited to a relative's meeting and my concerns were put to rest. I was also given reassurance and contact details for my mother's advocate as her mental capacity is an issue and my mother had concerns over her finances. The situation was clearly explained to me and again my concerns were alleviated.
My Mum was in Arden Court for 19 months, I was relieved of the stress the moment one of the staff became manager she listened to family concerns, really listened, the atmosphere was so much happier and the staff appeared happier, my family could not have coped without the care for my Mum and my family (Day and night staff) when my Mum reached end of life. Thank you to every one of you.
My brother moved to Arden Court late last year and thanks to the caring staff he has settled very well. The management team, medical staff and care staff have all contributed to his well-being and I can't praise them highly enough. Arden Court is a very suitable and well-run establishment.
My mum-in-law has dementia and is 92 years old after years of managing with carers, nieces and my husband going every day Mum moved in last week in December. Her needs were more than could be managed. Her room is sunny and bright always kept clean. The staff are all just lovely, smiley caring professionals and most of all trust that they are all looking after Mum's best interests. She has started to eat the meals provided which look fresh and homemade, this in itself is a huge step as getting Mum to eat was a daily battle at home. She's having her feet and hair done which had all but stopped due to mobility. It was initially very hard and upsetting to visit as Mum constantly said take me home but the staff have all made her feel so welcome, just recently this has stopped which shows she is happier We both now sleep at night and my husband at 66 years old has a little time to himself. Thank you to everyone who takes care of our precious lady we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you all.
My uncle is always treated kindly and looked after well. He can be quite challenging at times.
My uncle is a resident here. He loves it here. There's a real sense of community and all the staff treat him as a member of family and we are comfortable knowing he is cared for.
My dad spent his final three months at Arden Court. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and professionalism they showed to both him and myself. Nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff played their part, from keeping his room clean, preparing his meals, ensuring he was showered and shaved, to taking care of all his personal and nursing needs. The nursing team kept me fully informed at every stage of his illness and we worked together to make his stay as comfortable as possible. He had a lovely room with a beautiful view of the gardens where he could watch the birds feed and squirrels chase around playfully. During his stay the staff became like family who genuinely cared for my dad and me. I felt reassured knowing he was being well looked after. As his health declined, I was allowed to visit my dad as often and whenever I needed to and the care and support from the team continued after my dad passed away. I will always remember Arden Court with such fondness.
All the staff do a top job, nurses always on the go from morning till they go home. Always knock on your door to see if you're ok and need anything if you ask for something and they're busy at that moment they will always come back and try to get the task done.
Overall the care given is of a good standard. I must stress though the weekend does require more staff. No sign of management at the weekend and very hard to get hold of anyone via telephone which is not ideal. The staff are helpful and give a good experience for the residents including entertainment to engage them however more activities to engage the mind are needed! Clean facilities and food are of a good standard.
Mum is settled and well looked after.
My wife is being looked after very well. Her carers are always very pleasant and do all they can to keep her safe and satisfied.
My mum moved to Arden Court three months ago after a seven week stay in hospital. She has vascular dementia and needs quite a lot of assistance daily. The staff are great, the food is good and there are daily activities for the residents to attend. Overall, good care, definitely recommend this home.
Staff are very friendly, professional and very caring. Look after the residents with all their hearts. Always kept spotless and activities fantastic when residents are able to attend. Management first class, cannot do enough as all nursing staff as well.
