View Full Details of Kings Park Care HomeMy dad has been in Kings Park since October 2024. I feel they take really good care of my dad. They always let me know when there are any concerns and keep me updated on how he is. Knowing he is cared for puts my mind at ease and I would highly recommend Kings Park.
We are incredibly grateful for the level of care given to Mum. It is important for us to know that whilst we can't be with he,r someone else is giving her the level of care we would. We have peace of mind and the staff not only give a professional level of care but personal too.
It was difficult putting Dad in a car home at first because although he needed full time care. I feel he is a lot happier now and the family are at ease that he is safe and being looked after. He has had a few falls in the last couple of months and although they have been minor, we are scared he may have one that may hurt.
The staff at Kings Park are so kind, caring and responsive. They truly do show compassion to the residents. The home is clean and tidy. The food always smells amazing. There is always something going on.
We are very pleased with the care my mum receives at Kings Park Care Home. The home is very welcoming and always warm, and the staff are excellent, very friendly and very professional in their care for Mum. I would recommend Kings Park for the care of your loved ones.
The staff are always approachable and friendly. Mum is very happy.
The staff at Kings Park are caring, supportive and friendly. We are always welcomed with a smiley face and made to feel welcomed. We are so happy that Grandma is staying at Kings Park, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. All the residents are treated with brilliant care and attention. Grandma has her hair and nails done and an overall better quality of life. Thank you for all your hard work and care!
We are very pleased with Mum's progress and care. The food is good and the cleanliness is exceptional. We receive regular phone calls from the home to discuss Mum's care. When there is any concern and an ambulance has been called, the home let us know.
We are impressed with the care and kindness Mum receives at Kings Park. This is a very well-managed and administered facility, with skilled and compassionate staff across the board. Mum is living with severe impacts of dementia and doesn't converse much, however she responded with smiles and some positive words whenever the staff acknowledged her. This reassured us that she trusted the staff, and at all times we witnessed her being treated with dignity and respect. As visitors, we were welcomed and treated with the same level of dignity and respect.
Love it here.
I moved my dad to Kings Park approximately a year ago from another home. He was not happy in his previous home and we had concerns about his safety. The difference at Kings Park is amazing, he is much happier. It is a care home where the staff care about the residents and do their best for each individual. My dad can be challenging at times, even in his worst moments the staff are great with him and extremely patient. Putting someone in care is never easy, but it is easier when you know the home, do care, and do their best for them. I have built a good relationship with the staff and find them to be very open and honest and importantly I trust them. I highly recommend Kings Park they provide an outstanding level of care.
My mum is so happy at Kings Park. She’s laughing more, having her hair and nails done and joining in activities. The staff, office staff and managers are wonderful, they really care about the residents and are always patient and kind. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about this care home.
Our uncle moved into Kings Park in June 2023 after being unable to manage in his own home. Whilst this was a hard decision for us to make, it has been made so much easier with the quality of life he now has. The home is so well kept and is a lovely and welcoming environment. In my opinion, the staff make this home into an outstanding home. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the attention they give the residents is amazing. Every member of staff we have seen genuinely wants to be there and this is reflected in the level of care, time and attention they give. Thank you! Highly recommend.
I am pleased with the care and attention Mum is having.
Most of the staff excellent, some more training in mental health. Everyone who works there are friendly and helpful.
All I can say is that this care home is absolutely amazing; the staff, care and compassion are second to none; they have looked after my dad so we'll. I cannot put it into words, but I am hoping once he is well enough to go back after coming out of the hospital, he will be back at home in the loving care of all the carers and the manager, but they have been amazing. I cannot recommend Kings Park Care Home enough - absolutely 5-star treatment.
Staff were very attentive at all times. My visits were at all different times and even though mass capacity varied and her behavior could be very challenging, the care shown by the staff was consistent and reassuring. In particular feedback from the activity coordinator was very helpful in colouring our view of the variety and quality of Ma's experience at Kings Park when we are not present.
Came for party/BBQ for residents and family. Shame about the weather but despite this staff entertainment made up for this it was well worth the visit. Stayed longer at the party than I expected, then visiting in room. Overall, a very good afternoon was had by all.
My husband has been in Kings Park Care Home since February 2022. Since coming to Kings Park he has vastly improved regards to his behaviour. The nurses and staff are managing better with him, he is now eating and putting on weight. He is not distressed, he is clean, well cared for and is more settled. I am always informed about his care and nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are superb. Very happy family.
We have had the worst 2 years ever and it has been a real struggle finally things feel like they are starting to get better and I will be able to see my mum more. Throughout this time the staff have kept everything going even though there have been staffing problems due to the circumstances all care homes have found themselves in and they have come through with flying colours. I am aware it was also a very difficult time for them having to deal with relatives' families who were worried stressed and upset by not being able to see their loved ones but they were always helpful and assuring. So a big thank you to all the staff. The home always looks welcoming. The reception always looks nice and bright and decorated for every occasion. The home has a very high standard of cleanliness. The staff are always helpful and know us by name and there are regular activities for the residents. All in all they have done a great job getting us all through this.
