View Full Details of Broadway NursingMy wife has been in Broadway care home for about a year, staff r brilliant, food could be improved, room brilliant, can't fault the place, keep up the good work,if I ever need to go into a home this would be my choice,
Staff make me feel good. Really like my room and that building just been modernised. Staff listen to me really well. They cater to what people need and they have nice food. They look after my medical needs and support my disabilities.
I am very happy with the care my mother receives in her home. The staff make us both feel very safe. They are very well trained and know my mum very well and look after all her daily and medical needs. I live 4 hours away and have great communication with the home. It feels like she lives with family.
The staff and management are very welcoming and kind. We feel comfortable knowing that my husband is being looked after very well and is receiving good care. Keep it up! Well done Broadway Nursing management.
Staff are very caring and kind, always on hand if you need their attendance and willing to help.
Mum went into the care home in June 2024. The care home is amazing. The staff are very caring. Mum is always laughing and singing. She is so happy. The manager goes the extra mile. Always on hand to help, she always keeps me updated on Mum when I'm not there. She is just lovely. It is such a welcoming environment. The staff care so much about the residents and their individual needs. I was so nervous and sad about putting my mum in a home but they have made sure Mum is happy and well cared for which I will always be grateful for. It's so nice going in and seeing Mum happy and well. Thank you so much to the amazing manager and staff for all you do.
Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2015 and has been a resident within Broadway Nursing since 2019. She was previously a resident in another local care home, which closed abruptly. With a short time frame available to us, we visited multiple nursing homes throughout Liverpool and grimaced in horror at multiple homes that I wouldn't place a rabid dog in, never mind my mum. We decided to locate Mum within Broadway Nursing Home and overall, we've been extremely happy with our choice. The carers have always been warm and friendly, the nursing staff are extremely professional, approachable and caring and the manager who really has gone above and beyond for us, as a family. The manager arranged for staff to attend our wedding in Cheshire to ensure Mum could be a part of our big day, took over Dad's end-of-life care when a local hospice needed to discharge him and allowed me to stay overnight with him for the last week of his life.
Staff are lovely and welcoming, made my mum settle right in and provide excellent care. From personal care to singing along with Mum. Very happy with care and support received.
My mum has been at Broadway Nursing Care Home just under 2 months. I am very pleased with everything. Such a lovely bright room. My mum is always clean and tidy.
Our mum was a resident in both the residential and nursing care throughout 2022. We as a family cannot thank all the staff enough for the care of our mum in the last year of her life. We found the care and dedication of the staff wonderful. We would highly recommend this care home to any of our friends. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Disappointed there are no volunteers to have a ten-minute chat to patients at end-of-life care, as a lot do get lonely and frightened. The place needs painting and decorating and the floor needs attending to.
The experience I have received from the care home is excellent, staff are kind and very helpful, only have to ask for assistance for the wife and its carried out within minutes. I have noticed lately that she shouts when staff go past her door, and she is not eating much, I can not comment on the food as I have only seen her having soup and a sandwich in her room. I have tried to take cakes in but she eats half and says she doesn't want any more. The staff come into the room to see if she is okay. I am a bit concerned, she is looking tired because she is not eating properly.
My mum has been a resident at the above-mentioned home at first in Residential for a total of four and a half years. Firstly in Residential and at the moment care home nursing. The manager and staff go above and beyond. I think they are amazing - all staff, from cleaners, carers and nursing - not forgetting kitchen and laundry.
My mother In law was extremely poorly and was admitted to this care home for a number of months. I have to say, if it wasn't for your great care my mother in law wouldn't be alive and now in her own home. Big thank you to the manager for all the support shown to the family.
I am happy with care and support provided here. I am better of here than I am at home as I struggle to self medicate myself and end up in hospital.
My mother was admitted to Broadway Nursing in Sept 18. She was suffering from terminal cancer but was in no way mentally impaired. At 93, she could be brisk and very determined about her preferences but she recognised with gratitude respect, kindness and consideration she was accorded by all the staff (including the chef!) We were made to feel welcome in the home (we visited every day) and we were confident that the medical care was excellent.
Very friendly staff. Feel relaxed and know my mother is getting looked after well.
I'll always remember the very hard decision to put my father is a nursery home at only 59 years old. Every care home I went to see previous to this, I left in tears. The staff immediately made me feel welcome and at ease at Broadway. There was a nice feeling when we were walked around and the rooms were well-presented and spacious, perfect for my dad's situation. I am very grateful for the care and support my dad receives at Broadway Nursing home.
Our father entered Broadway almost fourteen months ago. From the outset, he has been treated with dignity and respect. Well led, spacious rooms and a caring atmosphere the home is now indeed dad's home! The carers and nursing teams on a daily basis provide him with what he needs_-The monitoring of his medical needs with effective and proactive care plan which is freely available and which can be discussed - along with staff whom clearly do their very best to enjoy his presence. Across the board, the family who sees him every day have seen evidence of not only the above but also the energetic and thoughtful entertainment programme and stimulating decor along the corridors along with singers and use of music and events in the calendar. Residents are not seen as difficult or disruptive. On the contrary, I believe they are regarded as individuals with a past, a present and a future. Thank you.
