View Full Details of Warren Park Nursing HomeWarren Park is a lovely care home which is run well and has high standards. My mum settled in well, better than I thought and is happy here. That means so much to me. To move from your family home into a residential care home is one of the hardest things. But with the care provided, kindness shown and support of the staff this was made easier for both my mum and I. The staff are like family now to her. The food is amazing and my mum, who is super fussy would agree. All in all I would definitely recommend Warren Park.
Fantastic care and I feel my Aunt is being very well looked after and listened to. The staff are so friendly, caring and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Communication is excellent too. She has a lovely bright room and enjoys spending time with other residents in the lounge. My aunt especially loves some of the entertainment that they have, as loves a good singalong! Thank you to everyone for the care, kindness and compassion that is shown to my aunt on a daily basis.
Dad has been a resident at Warren Park since March 2024. He has been very well looked after since he arrived after a three-month stay in hospital left him unable to go back home to live independently. Warren Park has a homely atmosphere with very kind staff. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff take time to chat to Dad and cheer him through the day. The food is excellent and entertainment is available for those residents who wish to be involved. Dad wishes he had more male company but on the whole he has been happy and well looked after.
My brother has been at Warren Park for six months. He arrived at the home after being in hospital for 3 months. When we arrived the management staff and carers were absolutely lovely to him and made him so welcome. He immediately felt so secure and happy. The place feels like home from home as soon as you step your foot in the door. They treat him with kindness, dignity and respect. The whole team are amazing and have kept him going with their kindness and friendliness. They encourage him to join in activities with other residents, which he enjoys. Even on Christmas day, the whole place felt warm and the commitment of the staff towards him was very much appreciated by our family. The communication between the management staff and myself is superb. All the people who work at Warren Park are exceptionally friendly, thoughtful and kind. All credit to the owner and management team for providing such a special place for our loved ones.
100% brilliant care, great and informative staff. Feel my mum is in great hands - and cared for, comfortable, relaxed - content, so safe and secure. Totally amazing content, so safe and secure. Totally amazing care team and management, faultless! The change in my mum now remembering and seems so happy and relaxed. Keep up the great work! No problems at all.
My aunt was a resident at Warren Park for 3 months. She was 98 and had been living independently until then but she decided the time had come for some help! She had a lovely sunny room overlooking the garden and Keypark. The staff were very friendly and she soon settled in. She became very frail and the staff were lovely with her and kept her going, joking with her in the kindest ways but also professional. Many many thanks to all. PS. It was always difficult to get into and out of Warren Park, finding members of staff to open the door! A small but irritating problem.
My Mum was a resident at Warren Park for 2 years 4 months. We never ever wanted to put Mum into a care home - and she never wanted to go - but frailty and dementia were making it impossible for her to live at home. Warren Park was recommended to me by a friend - and I'm so glad it was. Mum has had the best time for the past couple of years - being looked after and cared for by some of the most loveliest people that I've ever met. The encouragement she got to join in with the activities and the attention she got when she wasn't too well has been amazing. The communication between the staff and myself has been superb - if anything at all wrong with Mum I would get a phone call informing me. Can't praise Warren Park and its staff highly enough - they are the ones who should be getting the footballer's wages! Thank you all so much.
Mum was a resident at Warren Park for the last 11 months of her life. She was very withdrawn and unhappy when she first arrived but with the help and support of the amazing staff she began to come out of her shell and was engaging on a regular basis. I can't thank the staff enough for this. She was happy and well cared for and was encouraged to join in the extensive activities if she was able. The staff in Warren Park probably don't get the credit they deserve. The work that carers do is vital to our older generation and without them situations would be bleak. The staff here were all so friendly and kind and gave as much time as they could for families as well as residents. They play an exceptionally important part in people's lives. We as a family had never wanted Mum in a nursing home but we are so glad that we came across Warren Park and the amazing staff who work there. Everyone played their part no matter what their title and I will be forever grateful.
Mum was placed here by the hospital for palliative care and was resident for just 6 days. She died peacefully in comfort and with dignity. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t do enough to help. They were sensitive to our family needs and always carried out their duties with a smile. Mum's care was administered rigorously to schedule, making sure she was regularly moved and positioned so that she was always comfortable. I could not have hoped for better care at this difficult time.
My mum moved to Warren Park in 2023 when her previous care home closed, this also meant she was nearer to us. Her room was bright and airy, always spotlessly clean and she was very happy there. Although Mum was unable to join in the many social activities provided, staff tried to find ways to engage with her including setting up a large screen TV so she could watch films and providing audiobooks. The staff are truly wonderful no matter what their role. Mum said how lovely the staff were and that the home was a much nicer place than where she was previously. The staff were kind, caring, friendly and professional at all times not only to my mum but to family members. Communication with me was extremely good. I was kept informed of any changes needed to her care and I was confident she was being looked after to a very high standard. I will always be grateful for the care, respect and empathy shown to my mum by all the staff.
Mum moved into Warren Park in March 2022 following a stroke and spent the last two years there before recently passing away. Warren Park is in a lovely location and setting. Mum’s room was bright and spacious and always kept meticulously clean and tidy. Great as all that is, though, it’s not the bricks and mortar that makes the place, it’s the staff. All the staff, no matter what their role, treated Mum with kindness and compassion, dignity and respect. Any requests from her were always met with a smile and acted upon and delivered. Mum could not praise the staff highly enough. Particularly worthy of mention is the level of communication from the staff at Warren Park to the family - they were always well on top of Mum’s health and wellbeing and we were always informed straightaway of any issues and the actions the home were planning to take as a result. I’d be more than happy to recommend Warren Park to anybody looking for a home to move into or move their loved one into.
My sister-in-law came to Warren Park in June 2022, to be closer to us. She chose her room in the main house, with a lovely view over the garden. She liked living in Warren Park, referring to it as home during her many stays in hospital, with multiple problems. The staff are wonderful, so helpful, caring and friendly. Despite being wheelchair-dependent, she was independent, making her own decisions, and her views known. Health problems affected what she could eat, and she also had pronounced likes and dislikes. The chefs went to great lengths to meet them. She had a group of friends who lunched together. She was sociable, and enjoyed interaction with both residents and staff. Her final admission to hospital, with the diagnosis of two small strokes, should have resulted in her return to Warren Park. She was always asking when she could go home, but sadly, an unrelated critical event resulted in her death. Warren Park has our love and gratitude for the care it gave her.
My dad had spent the last nearly 4 years of his life in Warren Park, due to a fall and a long stay in hospital, he settled in quite quickly in a beautiful ground floor room with a lovely garden view. The staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble, if he fancied something different from the daily menu they would make his something different for him, and if my mum was ever visiting at meal times they would always make sure she was fed too. He would look forward to his chats with the handyman about the football, who would nip into see him before he started working at Warren Park. Dad had a short stay in hospital then was brought back to Warren Park for end-of-life care, all the staff were so understanding and caring at this time up until the very end, they were treating him like a family member. Honestly can not thank the staff enough! I would also like to add how well Warren Park managed Covid restrictions within the home creating a pod, so family members could visit their loved ones.
First visit to friends who have settled well despite, and understandable, reluctance to leave the family home and abandon their cherished independence. They are pleased with all aspects, cleanliness, food, and medical care. But it is the kindness and sensitivity of the staff that is most appreciated.
I would like to thank all the staff at Warren Park Nursing Home they were excellent, they were so kind and helpful in looking after my dad and making me cups of tea they made me feel at home. My dad was there for end-of-life care. Sadly he passed away. My dad had complex needs he had Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, the staff were very patient and met his needs, I know how hard this is having dealt with it while caring for him. His room was kept spotless the cleaners, laundry service, carers, maintenance, nursing and admin staff never stopped. A big thank you to your chefs and kitchen staff the food is excellent my dad loved it my dad was fussy but nothing was any problem to them if my dad asked for something different or extra cereal he got it. I have told my husband if I ever needed respite I would go there I would recommend Warren Park. Thanks again.
My stepfather was in Warren Park for short-term respite care after suffering a stroke. He was desperate to go home after spending several weeks in hospital but a return home wasn’t an option. From our initial phone call to Warren Park the Management Team took control of the situation, liaising with the hospital to ensure the necessary assessments were completed and facilitating his transfer from hospital. This relieved a lot of stress and anxiety for both me and my stepfather. On admission to Warren Park the care he received was outstanding. He was treated with the utmost dignity and respect throughout his stay. Nothing was too much trouble and every interaction was carried out with genuine compassion by a staff team that genuinely cared about the people residing in the home. Our family and friends visited every day, at different times, and on each occasion witnessed all residents being treated with kindness and respect by the whole team. I would highly recommend the home.
My mum is a current resident at Warren Park having been resident for a number of years. The care that she receives as a dementia sufferer of 100 years of age is absolutely wonderful. The staff are extremely kind and patient with her. She can be difficult to deal with due to her illness but they continually treat her with dignity and respect for which I am grateful. Any slight issues which occur are reported via a personal call to myself and are explained in detail, complete with any actions required to prevent the issue from reoccurring. Mum loves to join in with the many planned activities organised by the home, and they take great pride in obtaining regular feedback in regard to activities, along with any suggestions for alternatives. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Warren Park to anyone considering a quality setting for their loved ones.
Mum was a resident at Warren Park Nursing Home from August 2022 to March 2023 and I can't fault the care she received. All the staff were always very friendly and looked after Mum really well. She had a lovely room it was very bright and airy and overlooked the gardens. After a short stay in the hospital, Mum was brought back to the home for end-of-life care and the staff were so kind and considerate letting us visit any time. She eventually passed away with us with her, it was so peaceful. Many thanks to everyone at the home we really appreciate all you did for Mum.
Our family have nothing but praise for Warren Park Nursing Home! Mum's been there for 18 months now and has a complex variety of mental and physical needs, all are constantly tended to with the utmost professionalism by the staff. Everyone has treated Mum with respect and dignity, nothing is too much trouble. Warren Park has a genuinely warm and caring atmosphere. It's very cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I've been delighted and surprised by the variety of activities provided for residents, from weekly hairdressing to visits by farm animals and afternoon singalongs! We are always greeted with a warm welcome from whoever answers the door and invited to join in whatever's going on. My mum is kept clean and smart, the laundry service is excellent. If she's got any health problems, we are the first to know. The staff consult us about anything important and listen carefully. The manager's door is always open to us. My mum could not possibly be better looked after. The food is outstanding too.
Mum went in for respite after a fall and I wasn’t sure she’d recover as she’s 86, but she was really looked after and has made a great recovery. Everyone at Warren Park was brilliant.
