From the moment I came to the home to view a room - to this date I have found everyone most helpful, caring, professional and welcoming. All staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is so clean, the menu is appetising, delicious and well presented. Thank-you to you all.

I have nothing but praise for every member of staff at Charlotte House Care Home. The circumstances for my mum living here were not expected and it was daunting choosing the right home for her - but I needn't have worried. Mum is happy, well cared for and I cannot fault her care. Thank you to all the staff.

Since my mum came to live in the nursing home, she has been extremely well looked after. All the staff are very pleasant, helpful and professional at all times, her room is bright and homely and all her needs are met. As her family, we are very pleased with her care. We feel we have a good rapport with the staff who are very approachable.

I have found my mothers needs to always be met, especially with enthusiasm and a smile. I have constantly kept asking questions about my mother's medications and all her unique needs and have always been reassured by everyone. They have been with us every step of the way.

Exceptional care and comfort at Charlotte House Care Home. We cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding care that Charlotte House Care Home has provided for our mother. From the moment we chose this facility, we felt a deep sense of peace knowing she would be in the best possible hands. Every single day, the team ensures that her days are filled with comfort, love, and the dignity she so rightfully deserves. The staff go above and beyond to create a serene and warm environment, always attentive to her needs, and making sure she feels valued and cared for. It's incredibly reassuring to see how much genuine care and affection she receives. They not only provide excellent professional care but also foster a nurturing, family-like atmosphere. Mum is always calm and content, surrounded by kindness, and that is all we could ever hope for. Thank you, Charlotte House Care Home, for everything you do!

Charlotte House is always welcoming and accommodating. My nanna loves all the staff. I would recommend this home to any family looking for a trustworthy and hardworking care staff.

My mum came to Charlotte House after having a fall at home and breaking her hip. She was unable to walk. After the sixth week of respite, as a family, it was decided that Mum was better in Charlotte House, as she lived alone. Mum has adapted to the care home environment really well and loves all the staff and the interaction with the residents. The home is always immaculate. The food is excellent, and Mum's put weight on. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

My mum moved to Charlotte House in May 2023. The staff have been very kind and caring, especially to me as a distressed daughter with a mum suffering with dementia. The reception area is warm and welcoming, it is very spacious and has a nice seating area and drinks machine. The rooms are pretty modern and a nice size. I have never experienced any bad smells coming from the home, it is always clean and tidy. I looked at at least a dozen homes is definitely one of the nicer ones!

My dad lived at Charlotte House from November 2022 until he passed away in March 2023. We couldn’t have been happier with the care he received. What a fabulous staff team. They looked after him so well and were always very kind and respectful, particularly at the end of his life. We are very grateful and would highly recommend Charlotte House.

My mum has been at Charlotte House since February 2020. She is very well looked after and treated with lots of love and with dignity. Her health has deteriorated during the time she has been there, but staff are always positive with her and optimistic. Meals are adapted to her needs, and she is offered assistance when required. Charlotte House is very welcoming to residents and visitors. Pleasant ambience.

My mum is coming up to her first anniversary of living in Charlotte House; she settled in well and is happy there. Whenever I've had a concern or an issue with anything relating to Mum's care, support etc, I have had access to any relevant staff and management, and my concerns etc, have been dealt with promptly and addressed accordingly. The clients are well presented, supported and entertained daily, the establishment's cleanliness is well maintained, and the staff are welcoming and friendly all the time whenever I call in. Would I recommend Charlotte House to others then, yes, 100%.

Very speedy efficient admission procedure from hospital. Friendly welcoming staff, caring and excellent in their own field. Good food and medical care this nursing home meets my mother’s expectations and she is more than happy as a resident. Excellent management and everyone seems to demonstrate a positive outlook.

We have found Charlotte House to be the best place we could have re-homed Mum. Firstly, they looked after Dad until he passed with great care and dignity. The nursing staff are amazing. The staff on all levels are caring, so friendly and professional. Mum loves the staff like her own and that gives us such peace of mind, and they keep her entertained/stimulated with all the activities planned weekly.

My father has been a resident at Charlotte House for two years. He is so happy living there. He is treated with respect and dignity. He is so happy living there, the best decision we made. I thank all the staff from the bottom of my heart.

My dad came to Charlotte House for palliative care. While Dad's stay was short, the support we received was exemplary. With staff making my dad very comfortable while supporting the family. Words cannot express the care and support Charlotte House gave us. A big thank you to all staff.

I am absolutely astounded that Charlotte House Care Home has good reviews because this is most definitely not my experience. My Aunt was assessed for her needs at the hospital and admitted to Charlotte House on a Friday. When I visited on the Sunday morning she was distraught after being left in bed unwashed and unchanged since arrival. She had been lying in a soiled pad, and had failed to summon help for hours. This experience was also repeated when I arrived a couple of weeks later on a Sunday at 2.15 in the afternoon, unchanged and unwashed and very upset. It took me 30 minutes to get help for her. This place is depressing, un-stimulating and outdated. The staff are on the whole caring but there just isn’t enough of them to make this place a safe environment. I could go on and on about what I saw. My Aunt was moved as quickly as we were able to do so to another Care home. It seems like she is in heaven now compared to Charlotte House.

Sadly, my mum passed away two weeks ago and I can only say how wonderful the staff were to us as a family. Mum enjoyed her time there and she was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they treated Mum how they would treat their own.
