Moved mum into redcaps after many years of trying to keep her safe as Dementia was tightening its grip on her unfortuniltey. Since her move approx 12 months now we wished we have done it sooner for her. She mixes well with other residents but mostly enjoys her time with the staff She's nearing 94 yrs old in July and feel that she will go well beyond that whilst at Redcaps Care home Much love to all of you there
Mother Redcaps has been a life saver for my friend. She is a lady of very few words but she does say to me "it's lovely here isn't it and I don't have to pay for anything isn't that amazing" how comfortable for her is that. The staff are lovely and the new staff introduce themselves to me and offer me a drink and keep me updated about her health. She has just been transferred to Sandy Bay.I was shown her bedroom before she was transferred and all looked good but I haven't been into visit her yet so hopefully she has settled in nicely,I have spoken to the staff on the phone and they have assured me she is comfortable. She now needs more help and I am confident she will get that. Thank you to all the staff for all their help.
Excellent care. Always prepared to adapt to my brother-in-laws needs i.e. music and mobility equipment provision.
My brother has been at Mother Redcaps for nearly 6 months. He has settled really well and interacts well with staff other residents. His general health + personal hygiene are being well managed.
This home has helped my mum and supported myself so much since bringing my mum here. The staff are so friendly and I'm always welcomed with a smile and they always keep me updated with anything that goes on. My mum receives fantastic care with meal plans, personal care and activities, but most importantly she is treated with dignity. Finding out my mum has dementia was very difficult for myself, but the people here have helped support me with advice amd even just talk to me about how my day was. I fully recommend this home to anyone who has a family member or friend who needs care.
Excellent service.
I can't thank you enough for the care I have had while I was staying at the care home and I thank you all for the care. Thanks again to all the very pleasant staff.
The staff are lovely and attentive to my mother-in-law. Her room is always clean and tidy.
Dad has settled in well and feels happy and secure.
My husband has been here for five months. Staff are very nice. Bedroom fine. Very picky with his food, most days he eats it.
I love the home very much. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. If I need anything they are able to get it for me. It's like home.
Very pleasant, staff are excellent, nice views. Nothing is too much trouble. Good food and service.
Lovely friendly atmosphere. Great staff, always happy to help.
Since my mother, who has only been in the care home for a short time, I have seen a great difference in my mum's mental health and well being from when she came to you, she is so much happier, content and well cared for. This has helped ease our minds, knowing that Mum is getting excellent care, attention and safe in your care home. A massive thank you to all of your dedicated staff, who are giving excellent care and comfort to my mum.
Good experience overall and very caring staff who do their best to cater for the needs of residents. Friendly place with fine views overlooking the River Mersey and the city centre of Liverpool. Recommended.
Amazing welcome for my mum. Staff have been great and very helpful. They are always telling us that if we need anything, to let them know.
Since my mother moved into Mother Redcaps she has improved in every way by 100%. She is stronger, happier, more confident, eating more, more talkative, and looks younger and stronger. The staff are brilliant, friendly and extremely helpful. They talk to her like friends using her first name. She is even laughing which I never thought I would see again. I would recommend Mother Redcaps to everyone.
My father was moved here following a hip operation and he was not well. The care received from all the staff and nurses on duty could not be faulted. We lost him at the end of June but even in his last days, he was treated with care and dignity. Thank you to all at Mother Redcaps Care Home you made a distressing time bearable.
It's a lovely clean home and the manager is very professional. Mum was moved here from another home and has settled in well. The only problem is that her t.v is on the blink, as this is her only entertainment it's making her unhappy. We have asked the home to please fix the tv, to no avail. The home has a resident handyman and I believe the problem has been brought to his attention, however, no joy as tv is still going on and off all the time.
