All staff have been so friendly and helpful they understood it is not just the residents that have to adjust but family have been having a hard time aswell and it is so lovely to walk in to happy smiling faces everything is done without any fuss and always with dignity I feel this reflects very good management and training I feel very blessed to have found this home from home for my mum the food is amazing.

After a serious accident, my wife was transferred from hospital to Westwood Hall Nursing Home. She is bedridden and has mental problems. At first, I was worried for her but after nine months, I am relieved to have found that Westwood Hall is an excellent nursing home. Her physical condition means she cannot make use of all the facilities and activities available, but the professional care and cheerful and friendly staff cannot be bettered. She gets on well with the staff and enjoys the food, which is very good and plentiful. Her condition requires a lot of personal care but she is looked after very well. When we visit, she is always clean and comfortable. Visitors are always made to feel welcome. Westwood Hall is very well managed. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.

My mother has been a resident at Westwood Hall for some time and I have nothing but praise for the staff. The fact that many of them have been there a long time tells me that they are happy in their work and that the place is very well run. I have been reassured by the care and attention that the staff have consistently provided over the years. For example, during the Covid epidemic, staff enabled me to talk to my mother via video call on a tablet, which was a great reassurance. When visiting recommenced all the strict procedures were followed. The home itself is a pleasant building as are the gardens for those who wish to use them. There are weekly activities for everyone and a sunny reception room. I have no hesitation in recommending this home to anybody looking for a care home in the area.

I am very pleased with the care Mum has received. The staff are caring and considerate. They have been great with Mum even when she is confused. Her room is nice with a view of lawns outside. She has been taken to the lounge on weekdays. Activities have been well organised.

I would like to personally thank the manager and her amazing staff for all the care and help my aunt receives continually every day. Last August the manager offered the use of the home's lounge so we could surprise my aunt with a Birthday party. We as a family enjoyed the best afternoon tea, making a special birthday full of happy memories. The manager and her team were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble.

The home is very well managed and the staff are especially kind and thoughtful. The food is tasty and nourishing and the building is warm and clean! I really cannot fault it.

My mum was a resident for approximately 10 weeks. In that time her health and well-being deteriorated rapidly. My mum was bedbound and was left in a wet and soiled bed on more than one occasion and was left for up to an hour. My visits were extremely stressful. Several issues were simply overlooked by the management and two incidents led to safeguarding being put in place. Clothing and underwear went missing and were replaced with other resident's items. The whole experience was an absolute disaster the lack of compassion shown by management was very poor.

We moved my auntie to Westwood Hall last March as it had become impossible to care for her in her own home. She is completely immobile, but now has lunch in the dining room and is able to join in those activities which interest her. Her personal care is really good, she is always lovely and clean and has her hair done most weeks. All the staff are very friendly and we feel this is the best we could do for my auntie.

From the moment Mum was admitted December 2023 until present day. Mum was treated with dignity and respect. The staff are excellent, caring and compassionate in every way. Mum always looks clean and tidy and well cared for at all times. I am impressed with how friendly everyone is, always thinking of Dad and the family and how we are feeling. If we are worried about anything all staff do their utmost to help and accommodate us the best they can. The management are excellent, it's obvious to see they run the home beautifully and with skill.

The staff could not have been more caring towards my nan. The care home offers a loving environment and we could not fault the care provided. My nan could not have been any happier or well cared for in her final months. We are so thankful to the team and the staff at Westwood.

We are really pleased with all the care the Westwood Hall Nursing Home are giving my mother-in-law since she moved there seven months ago. The nurses and staff keep us regularly updated and everyone always has a smile on their faces. Nothing is too much trouble and the food provided is nutritious and always finished. My mother-in-law has a new 'family' there and enjoys every minute of every day. Thank you to everyone.

On visiting the resident I was impressed with the management and care staff looking after the resident. The level of care was excellent and all care needs have been met. She has been encouraged to have her meals as soon as ready. She is happy and very settled.

Mum has settled in Westwood Hall Nursing Home since September 2022. We cannot praise the home enough for the care Mum receives. All the staff really care about their residents and we can see how happy Mum is. We were worried about having to move Mum from her own home. We would not hesitate in recommending Westwood Hall to anyone who is considering it.

I just want to say thank you to the manager and all the amazing staff at Westwood Hall. My mum has been shown the kindest, professional care, empathy and dignity in her short stay before she passed away in early January this year. Myself and my brother were shown so much support and kindness. Westwood Hall Nursing Home is so lovely inside, and the atmosphere is so welcoming for residents and family. After experiencing another care home, Westwood is amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for my mum.

Our family cannot fault Westwood Hall having viewed many care homes before we found Westwood Hall. The care that was received was the best that I believe any care home can offer. The staff genuinely care for the residents. The food was good, and the environment was beautiful. There were plenty of opportunities to join in activities and the staff encourage the residents to join in. I would definitely recommend this home to anybody who is looking for a care home in the area.

My father has been at Westwood since 9th September and from day 1 the staff have been kind, caring and supportive. I was very anxious about him going in but due to the staff's attitude no longer have any anxiety. Please thank them all!

The home provided excellent palliative care to my mum. All staff were caring, empathic and patient with Mum. On her death, staff were supportive and professional.

It wasn't clear where the reception was and the office that would have been it, seemed to be a store. But the Manager's office was next door and she told me what to do. She took me to the room of my friend. I noticed the notes folder being accessible. The notes were good and up to date. It also listed the regularity of attendance to my friend. Excellent!

As a family we are very pleased with the care and attention given to our brother-in-law/uncle. He himself speaks very highly of all staff, after just 3 weeks here his well-being is very much improved and we are all feeling very much better.
