Mum has been at Brookview for the past 6 months and I would not want her anywhere else. The staff are beyond exceptional! Everyone always has a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble. Mum thoroughly enjoys the food, is very well looked after and the nursing support has been invaluable.

I can't thank the manager and all the team of carers, cleaners, cooks, nurses, every single person at Brookview Care Home for their 100% and above care, love and respect for my lovely mum. Mum has been here for three years and I'm so happy she is here, wouldn't want her to be anywhere else due to the commitment of care and genuine concern at all times from all the special people you are... I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

My mother-in-law has been at Brookview Care Home around twelve months and we cannot thank the home enough for all the amazing care and support everyone provides. A few months ago, my mother-in-law was taken into hospital as she was unwell, she returned from the hospital a shadow of her former self, not communicating and generally traumatised. Since being back at Brookview, she is back to where she was and that is the dedication and compassion of this amazing team and that is everyone from carers to management. The manager has supported not only my mother-in-law but us, as a family, and, for that, we are truly forever grateful. We cannot thank Brookview enough.

My parents settled so well into Brookview Care Home. Enjoying all the activities on offer, which are varied, imaginative and plentiful. They are very much enjoying having the company of others in the home with many opportunities for social interaction. A warm, friendly, caring environment. All the staff have been so welcoming and supportive of my parent and ourselves and have done everything they can to accommodate specific needs, with a good, insightful understanding of elderly care and associated challenges. Care staff have been respectful, attentive and caring. Food is very good, with a great range of meals and excellent portions. The building feels well looked after, clean and beautifully decorated. Visitors are made to feel very welcome. Managers and administrative staff have made a sincere effort to get to know us, understand and respond to our situation too.

I feel very happy that my mum is being looked after with care and attention. All the staff are great with Mum and the continuity of staff over the last two-plus years is a bonus. Overall, I think we made an excellent choice of care home for Mum.

Such lovely friendly staff, so clean and so well run. My grandma is so much happier since moving here and I feel she is truly in the best hands possible. I really recommend this care home and the services they provide!

My aunt was a resident at Brookview Care Home for over seven years. During this time, she received exceptional care from an exceedingly, warm, dedicated and professional team of carers and management staff who demonstrated a genuine affection for her. They always kept me fully informed about and involved in her care. In addition, they always offered comfort and support to myself, particularly in the last days of my aunt's life. Myself and my family consider ourselves most fortunate that my aunt was able to live the last years of her life in such a lovely place.

My dad has been in Brookview for nearly a year now, he has settled so much better than I thought he would due to the dedication and genuine care shown by all the staff. I had a planned holiday in May and knew that I had left my dad in very capable and caring hands. I relaxed for the first time in as long as I can remember knowing he was safe and loved. My friends have visited him while I’ve been away and they all report how well the staff know my dad, who is very quiet and doesn’t give much away! Thank you, Brookview!

After the passing of my father in mid-2023 and despite providing multiple through-the-day in-home supports, it was clear our mum wasn’t able to stay at home. We (her 3 children) particularly my brother and sister made the “hard” decision to move her into a nursing home in March 2024. Having moved to Australia 15 years ago, I visited her for the first time since she moved to the nursing home in April 2024, of course, my sister had kept me up to date with how well mum was settling in and how she was significantly more relaxed and happy in the home than she had been in the recent past. When I visited, I was struck by how friendly, engaging, caring and hands-on the staff are, we are so grateful for them. The physical environment is perfect, a beautiful well-kept building, clean spacious rooms and gorgeous surrounding green fields, no wonder she’s so happy and relaxed! What a relief for us, her children, to move her was the right decision.

I cannot thank the manager and the team at Brookview Care Home. My mum was really struggling living at home by herself. It is a really tough decision to put a family member in residential care. I can honestly say I couldn’t have placed Mum in a better place. Since coming to stay here, she is so much happier and healthier. The staff are amazing, caring, considerate and treat the residents exceptionally. There is always plenty of care available, all of the time. Which is really reassuring. There are loads of activities. I love hearing what Mum's been up to. Mum says the food is great and she even has cooked breakfast every morning. The rooms are lovely and everywhere is spotless. Overall, it’s been a brilliant experience. Mum seems really happy, which is the most important thing.

Having visited my mum on numerous occasions, I have always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming and always willing to help. The management is always happy to talk over any concerns or queries I may have and always ensure that I understand their answers fully and if clarification is required, this is given. The premises appear clean and tidy.

Our relative has been with Brookview Care Home for quite some time now and what a fantastic place it is, always spotless and clean, great facilities and the team is amazing with her. Always friendly and helpful, big shout out to a member of staff, in particular, always a pleasure to chat with when we visit Nanny!

My mother has been in the care home for almost a year and receives excellent care and support. She has satisfactory meals and the opportunity to be involved with games or entertainment as she wishes. The staff and manager have been very helpful.

My stepdad lived in Brookview from August 2022 to September 2023 - during this time, he was cared for with the utmost respect and compassion. The incredible team at Brookview truly goes above and beyond in everything they do to ensure the most comfortable and loving experience for those staying at the care home. From putting on entertainment shows and garden parties to jigsaws and meal times, care and attention are consistently provided to all in equal measure. Those with family members staying at Brookview can always rest assured and remain worry-free knowing the team at the care home is providing the best care possible whilst putting smiles on their faces. I highly recommend Brookview for the love and care they continuously gave my stepdad, as well as all of the other residents and their families and friends.

Caring is all about people, and without exception, the staff at Brookview excel at providing an outstanding level of care. I am entirely happy that my mother is in good hands and that she is comfortable and content.

The home is a friendly, welcoming place. The residents are treated with dignity. It is very clean. The events organised are excellent, there is always something happening to entertain and occupy the residents.

My stepdad lived at Brookview in Alderley Edge for over a year, after it became impossible for him to continue living at home. His brain tumour took away nearly all of his ability to communicate, his personality, and, essentially, his life. However, by all of the staff, he was treated with genuine and complete respect; engaging humour that brought smiles and laughs from him; interactions and activities that brought stimulation and pleasure; and companionship and friendship from the staff and other residents that gave him the best final months we could have hoped for. The greatest resource Brookview has is its staff - there could be nothing going on, but the residents still have the best experience: being the centre of attention; fun arising spontaneously from nothing because the staff know each resident so well; and because of how much they care. Even when my stepdad (and other residents) can give nothing back due to their conditions, it does not affect their energy, care and dedication.

I am a resident here at Brookview care home, in Alderley Edge. I have being living here nearly two years and in that time I have received the most excellent care, with compassion and most humorous attention, the care and attention from everyone around me I cannot fault it, I would not wish to be anywhere else but here. People come into Brookview for care, they would not get anywhere better than here truthfully. When I first came to Brookview I was not well, after a few weeks the staff built up my confidence and willing to carry on and made me feel as close to being at home as I can be, I have made so many friends. I am a 92-year-old and it is a privilege to grow older here, there are so many activities going on during the week that I have a choice to join in with, not to mention hairdressers and manicures.

My husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness and no longer being able to stay at home, moved into Brookview in August 2022 and was there until September 2023. The care and the love he received from every member of staff was absolutely wonderful. He was treated with love, respect and dignity with staff going above and beyond what was needed to ensure the very best care, nothing was too much trouble. I visited nearly every day and saw for myself the incredible level of care given. I felt a lot of the pressure had been taken off me and I was able to spend time with my husband making happy memories without having to worry about his medication and his daily care. He was so content and relaxed there joining in activities, listening to music, enjoying the garden and sitting in the lounge with the other residents. Brookview became our extended family and when he sadly passed away, myself and the family were given the most wonderful support by the staff. Highly recommended.
