View Full Details of Hazelmere House Care HomeHaving looked at lots of places, this one has the nicest atmosphere and lovely facilities and staff, who proved to be supportive and welcoming when my mother had a brief stay for respite. I would thoroughly recommend Hazelmere House Care Home to anyone and thank the management and staff for their kindness. One member of staff in particular was particularly kind to my mother and I'm so grateful.
Mum really enjoys her stay at Hazemere. She likes her room and with help is quite mobile around the home. Mum appreciates all the staff who she says are really kind and helpful. Close to her heart is food and she thoroughly enjoys all the meals which we have also sampled. A superb Sunday Lunch! She enjoys the camaraderie of many if the guests - but especially enjoys the actives in the afternoon. The games (she is very competitive!), talks and demonstrations are all enjoyed! Perhaps a little more of this in the evening would make her stay perfect. We all appreciate Hazelmere and all the staff.
From the first viewing of Hazelmere House on behalf of my mum, I knew this was going to be home for her. The atmosphere is always warm, friendly and welcoming. The care is outstanding and that for me is a huge comfort, knowing she is safe. Plenty of good food and varied activities each day. The rooms and communal areas are tastefully decorated. Hazelmere is everything I could have hoped for my mum.
Mum really enjoyed staying at Hazelmere House Care Home - loved the staff, the food and facilities. The only negative comment was that she had her breakfast and supper in her room and not in the dining area - I don't know if this was because she wasn't aware that the facility was open or whether it wasn't open.
We are delighted with mum's first month at Hazelmere, it is everything we hope for and more. All the staff are so friendly and helpful as well as there are plenty of them so always someone available to help and nothing is too much trouble. In mum's own words when I asked her how it is she said "I love it here!" I can't ask any more than that.
Able to relax and recover without every day worries. Staff friendly and helpful even when very busy. Food excellent, varied and well prepared. Room is very comfortable and attractive.
Excellent care was provided by all the staff to my father. He passed in January at the age of 101 in familiar and peaceful surroundings. Care and compassion was provided with good grace. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The home is always clean and tidy and the food is nutritious. If there was any care home to recommend, then I would have no hesitation in doing so for Hazelmere.
Hazelmere House is a very special place. Always top quality care from the wonderful staff and management team. The teams of care staff and management are always there when help and advice is needed. My husband is happy to call Hazelmere 'home'. He feels safe and well cared for at all times. Everyone has welcomed my husband and he has made many friends, As his wife, it has helped me to know my husband is settled and safe.
Very welcoming, friendly staff, efficient and happy. The food was good, and well presented with a good selection. The rooms were clean and fresh. All my needs were catered for. I would have preferred a shower every day but realise that the staff were extremely busy. I would also have felt safer with a shower stool with a back on but that is really the only negative thing I can say. The quizzes and activities were fun and I am looking forward to my next stay.
My Mum has been a resident at Hazelmere for over 2 years now. I could not ask for better care for her, she is always treated with the utmost respect and kindness and her preferences are accommodated. Her medical needs have increased over time and the nursing team have always been on top of all her treatments and medications. She has made friends with the other residents and greatly enjoys going down to lunch every day. When she is well enough to participate, she appreciates the great variety of activities that Home provides every week. The team are always very responsive to any requests and any maintenance issues etc. have been dealt with within 24 hours. The Home is very clean and the meals always look fresh and nutritious. I have no hesitation in recommending Hazelmere to anyone, whether for respite or residential care.
My friend really enjoys living here. All the care I have seen when I visit (at various times of the day) has been excellent, The variety of experiences is amazing, a really varied programme which I , and my friend, would never have expected. Lovely decore, always clean and sweet smelling. Excellent.
I had booked two weeks after a total hip replacement. The staff were so friendly, including housekeeping. I could not fault the nursing care.
I was so happy at Hazelmere right from the start when I was feeling so weak. I couldn't believe how spoilt I felt, everyone was so kind and helpful. If I do have to return for further care, I will be relieved to know that all will be well. Thank you all for your amazing care.
Caring/professional and well-trained staff in all departments. Many foreign carers etc. but all excellent English. Special mention for excellent food throughout my stay whether in the room or day dining room, nothing too much trouble. Well done to all at Hazelmere!
Dad is looked after very well and receives excellent care from all the staff. I feel very welcomed by all staff when I arrive, home is very clean. The lady on activities is great and another staff member always keeps me informed. Food is excellent and I had a lovely Sunday lunch with Dad in the dining room.
Delighted with the accommodation for my sister. Her room was clean, airy and well-furnished with a lovely view. Nursing staff were at all times so friendly, respectful and mindful of my sister's ongoing medical concerns. The management team helped throughout the four-week respite period providing support not only for my sister but for myself. Medical guidance was also positive in setting targets for my sister to achieve. I was told that the meals were well balanced and enjoyable and my sister became engaged with some of the social activities once she had settled in. I would recommend the care home to anyone needing its services.
Everyone at Hezelmere was very kind, compassionate and caring to my mum, especially during some challenging times. The support from everyone was wonderful and very much appreciated. I felt safe entrusting my mum with the carers and nursing staff.
Excellent, staff are very good looking after my wife. I cannot ask for better care for my wife and feel reassured that she gets the care she needs. I am fully supported by all staff and management.
My mother has been a resident at Hazelmere House Care home for the past 14 months. During this time she has been treated with courtesy, kindness and respect by all members of staff she has come into contact with. She has made friends and takes part in many of the varied activities organised for the residents. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Hazelmere House Care Home has arranged chaperones to take Mum to and from hospital appointments when required, this has been especially helpful as I do not live locally. The environment is always clean and tidy, restaurant facilities are pleasant and welcoming. My mother’s health has improved immensely over the past year as medication has been managed very effectively with complementary services such as podiatry being arranged for residents on a regular basis. I would recommend Hazelmere House Care Home wholeheartedly.
Hazelmere House provided me with the rest and good food I needed in my recovery after breaking my hip in an accident at home. There is an atmosphere of quiet, friendly, and helpful efficiency from all the staff. It was a pleasure to spend my time there.
