Pinetum Care home is the best place for residents. My mum has been cared for by the staff and nurses for several months. The staff are very professional, very attentive, caring and loving to not just my mum, but I have observed to every resident within the home, this home from management down to staff on the floor are wonderful and very welcoming towards residents and their families. The home provides a hair salon room and a daily menu showing food choices from breakfast, lunch and tea. The home also provides many different activities on a daily basis by an amazing carer. There are so many wonderful staff that work here, each and everyone of the staff go above and beyond for both the residents and family members. The quality of the staff is immense with the likes of four members of staff in particular this is a few names to list but everyone of you staff who know me , I have total respect for you all, you are an amazing team, including the cleaning staff, kitchen staff .
My Mum is currently in the home having come out of hospital. The friendliness of the staff and the general feel of the home compared to other homes I have seen is on another level.Every member of staff seems to love working there and I can only imagine that this atmosphere is created from the top down. I cannot thank them enough for their genuine kindness.
My father is staying here for end of life care. He has received a lot of encouragement from the staff to be involved in activities and went from being bed ridden to walking about and chatting with the lovely staff members. He is happy here and is safe to wonder about with no risk of getting outside. It is very clean and tidy, staff work hard and are friendly. They have a resident bunny too.
My friend is currently at Pinetum and we couldn't ask for more everyone is friendly and helpful , she is treated with kindness and dignity, the staff have a gentle approach at all times.. her medical needs are met swiftly and we have nothing but gratitude to those who are caring for her when we are not able to be there . She has been lucky with her room and it overlooks the garden everywhere is cleaned continuously to a very high standard, and dietry needs are met again to a very high standard . It's a 10 out of 10 for me Keep up the good work Pinetum.
Whilst my husband has only been a resident at Pinetum for a short time, we have been very warmly welcomed and made to feel part of the home community by both management and staff, the level of care in all departments has been very good.
All the staff are very friendly, helpful and treat the residents with dignity and respect. The building and facilities are well maintained and a good standard of cleanliness is maintained. A good number of activities are offered and overall I was very happy with the care Mum received.
Can't praise the manager and staff enough. Excellent.
Pinetum staff are all absolutely fabulous, I cannot thank them enough for the kindness, care, patience, understanding & empathy they have shown my 88-year-old mum. She loves them all, her confidence has grown within the home, and all her needs are met & more. The level of care is of the highest standard, and I totally & utterly recommend Pinetum, especially the fabulous staff! To say they go "above & beyond" is an understatement. Caring staff who really do care. The food is also "amazing", homemade & my mum has eaten things she wouldn't even have tried if I had made them and thoroughly enjoyed every time! Thank you so much Pinetum for caring so much.
My sister recently spent some time in Pinetum and received wonderful care. Thanks to all the staff, they made her stay comfortable and treated her in the most friendly way. During my visits, I could see the wonderful contacts they had with all the patients.
Our mum has been well treated and cared for with dignity and respect. The staff have been sensitive to her needs as well as those of her family and we have felt supported through a difficult few months. We are thankful for the kindness and consideration shown by everyone at the home.
My mother-in-law was transferred to Pinetum from the hospital, from being greeted at the door to being taken to her room, she was made really welcome. All staff have been professional, kind and reassuring to my mother-in-law and all her visitors. They ensured she was treated with dignity and as an individual at all times. The cleanliness of the room is very high standard as is the home, mother-in-law thinks she's in a hotel as the food is nice.
My brother has recently been admitted to 'Pinetum' for full-time permanent care. The building is clean and cared for. The rooms are bright and cheerful. The staff are wonderful and we have no hesitation in recommending this Care Home.
I am so delighted with all the staff, and the selection of meals provided. The care and attention afforded to me is inspiring it goes towards my health recovery journey. My review is my personal experience but I have met other residents who concur with my appraisal. The choice of activities available is comprehensive and very meaningful. Especially one staff member who is wonderful.
My husband and I visit his sister at Pinetum Care Home and find the standard of care excellent. All the staff I have encountered are extremely caring and have a good rapport with my sister-in-law who has dementia. Although my sister-in-law has dementia, her general physical health has improved significantly over the last few weeks. I also find that on arrival the home smells fresh and inviting. My husband also states that he is impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of the home.
My dad is currently receiving excellent care. The staff can't do enough for him and are so friendly and cheerful. He's on respite at the moment but would be happy if he needed to stay long-term. It's very clean and there are several lounges to sit in. Visitors are also made to feel very welcome.
My husband has just had a respite week. He had excellent care. Although he is non-verbal he was able to vigorously nod when I asked him did you enjoy your stay. So thank you, to all the lovely staff for your care and kindness given.
My mother was transferred to Pinetum for end-of-life care. Throughout her 10-day stay, she received excellent care and was treated with the utmost dignity. Everyone at the home was helpful and supportive from the manager, to the nurses and the domestic staff. Staff provided great support and demonstrated huge kindness and compassion to our family which helped make a really difficult and painful experience more bearable. Thank you.
Nurses and carers are kind to my mum. She was looked after very well, ie cleaned and cared for, room was clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Overall facilities are good. Visiting hours were open and available.
My mum was taken to Pinetum for respite after fracturing her leg. She was nervous as she has never been a resident in a nursing home before, but she was made to feel very welcome. The care Mum has received has been amazing and says the carers are more like her friend. The food in the home is outstanding, it’s prepared fresh every day by their chef, they are given a choice each morning for breakfast and lunch, the evening meal is a 3-course menu which is different each night. There are activities in which Mum can get involved in and make friends with the other residents. The resident's rooms are spotlessly cleaned every day, and even better we don’t have to wash Mum's clothes they are all washed, dried and ironed in the laundry. The only sad thing is once Mum is better she will be going home and I know she will miss everyone at Pinetum.
