View Full Details of RedwallsSince Mm joined Redwalls in December 2024 she has been very well supported through her grief at losing Dad and also the trauma of leaving her home of 54 years. Whenever we have had a concern, there has been a prompt response and a good resolution. Staff are very nice, warm and friendly to Mum and extremely welcoming of all our family members. We have confidence that we can work well together with Redwalls to achieve the best outcome for Mum.
Well organised and staffed home, welcoming with pleasant facilities. Responsive to individual needs and efficiently run without loss of the personal touch. Staff seem kind, thoughtful and attentive and the home is clean and odour-free. Good fresh food with ample choice, and help when needed. Individual rooms are a fair size and nicely presented, and the home has an array of spaces for daytime leisure, whether convivial or more secluded. Open and flexible visiting arrangements with adequate parking space, and a diverse range of itinerant services attending regularly. The home is warm and comfortable, and my mother seems very happy and well cared for.
I cannot praise the staff and care at Redwalls highly enough. They really go the extra mile to provide individual care and assistance to the residents with their wide variety of needs. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and residents and visitors treated with respect and kindness. It is a joy to visit my friend and watch her grow in confidence and see her enjoying the activities provided. It is a very special place, full of love and compassion, it is wonderful to feel part of the Redwalls family when I visit.
Beautiful setting, comfortable and pleasantly decorated clean rooms. Excellent car provided for Dad. All the staff are and always have been helpful, kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble (an extra chair was provided at Dad's bedside so that I could hold his hand). Plenty of drinks/snacks are available for Dad and tea is offered to visitors if required. Over the years Dad has said how happy he is at Redwalls. A lovely home to live in with wonderful nursing care, food, and activities.
Care home is spotless, and carers and nurses are first class. We are very confident with the care my Mother is getting.
Over all Mum is treated really well. Just would prefer a catch-up with medical staff on a more regular basis. Although management has changed I still haven't met the new manager and I am usually here twice a week.
Pros: Kept informed of events. Carers are always pleasant. Care taken to meet the requests of Mother. Nursing staff informative - take time to ensure. Cons: My Mother feels that sometimes carers may walk away as she is speaking to them. Consider sending a monthly activity chart out so relatives have a discussion.
The care for my wife who has complex needs is excellent. My wife requires 24hour nursing and care which is carried out to the highest standards. After 8 years in the home, her care has been such that she the best quality of life considering the many medical issues.
I cannot recommend Redwalls highly enough. Mum was a resident for over 3 years until she died. She received amazing care and was very happy. The staff are incredibly friendly, caring, and supportive and her end-of-life care was dignified and compassionate. Visits are welcoming and friendly. Lots of events and activities for residents. Thank you.
Mum lived at Redwalls for the final 13 months of her life. My siblings and I chose the home on her discharge from hospital and we never regretted the decision. Our first impressions of a clean, bright, and homely atmosphere where caring and compassion were a priority never changed. Mum was very well cared for and we were always warmly welcomed when visiting. All the staff were friendly and caring, treating Mum with compassion and respect for her dignity at all times. Mum had a lovely room personalised to her taste and memories. With dedicated help Mum enjoyed the best quality of life her disabilities allowed, joining in-home activities and sharing meals in the dining room whenever her health permitted. The nursing care she received throughout but particularly in her final days was exemplary.
The staff of Redwalls Nursing Home are very polite and always welcome you when you come visit your relatives also see if you would like a cup of tea and coffee and juice for the younger ones. They always go out of their way to help you, nothing is a problem at all. I love the care home for my relative, I couldn't have picked a better place for her. I would recommend the care home to people.
Found the whole experience of visiting our friend in Redwalls lovely. The decor and surroundings helped to make it a very friendly, homely, and comfortable place. Every member of staff was helpful, and friendly and went out of their way to make our visit a joyful one. All of the residents that we saw appeared to be happy, content and well-treated by all the staff.
My wife is safe and happy. Could not ask for more.
Since visiting initially just over a year ago we were impressed with the friendliness of all the staff and especially impressed with the dining area and gardens. Mum has a lovely room with a great window view over the nice lawn and gardens. It's great to be able to come and go quite freely rather than having a strict regime on visiting times etc.
A nice welcome from staff when entering. The staff seem to laugh and joke with my dad which helps with his insanity and stay here.
Everyone is so nice and always makes you feel welcome. A nice peaceful setting.
Thank you for an enjoyable respite at Redwalls. Everyone was most kind, and although I'm pleased to be home again, I miss the conversations and contact with both residents and staff. I very much appreciated the exercise classes and the board game afternoons, etc. To have a daily walk around the garden (weather permitting) was great. Had I stayed longer, I would have spent more time in the library. I shall remember my time with you with affection.
After my initial tour, followed by the acceptance of my wife, it confirmed my impression of being part of a large family. Every member of the staff, no matter at what level, was keen to welcome you and to cater for your needs. The staff keep me informed of how my wife is coping when I am not present. It is a pleasure to cooperate with the medical staff and the visiting doctor. I am more than pleased with the choices of nursing home for my wife.
My mum has been in Redwalls for just over a month. From the moment we came to look around before deciding on Redwalls, my brother and I were confident that was the right place for her. The staff are all lovely and treat my mum with respect and dignity at all times. The home is very well organised, spotlessly clean and there is a lovely warm, homely feel, which has enabled my mum to settle into a routine very quickly. I recommend Redwalls unreservedly.
Very good service. Nice staff. Professional.
