View Full Details of Aaron Crest Care HomeThe care staff generally know her well and understand her needs and difficulties, particularly her confabulation. This is less so with bank staff which has caused problems including failure to ensure that she takes her medication. Staff show patience with her confusion and poor memory particularly as her dementia progresses. She is very independent and recent memory deterioration has made it difficult to provide personal care as she refuses help. By working together, she now allows laundry to be done for her in Aron Crest but general cleaning and personal cleanliness remain a problem.
My husband has been a resident at Aaron Crest for more than two years. In all that time the care and consideration from all the staff has been of the highest quality. I know that he is in safe hands and have total confidence in the care that he is receiving.
Really impressed with the personal care related to my mum. The staff in particular are extremely friendly, polite, helpful and honest. They cannot do enough to look after my mum. I don't want to single out any one member of the team because they are all first-class and simply love each and every one of them! Thank you to everyone at Aaron Crest Care Home Skelmersdale.
My Mother was in her end-of-life period recently. Aarson Crest provided an extremely welcomed package of support for both my Mother and her immediate family. Nothing was too much for Aaron Crest. Their level of care and support surpassed my expectations and was truly extraordinary. This enabled my Mother to travel through the last days of her life, continuing to feel safe and loved. Thank you Aaron Crest.
I would like to commend the staff of Aaron Crest Care Home. I live in the USA and my dad is 97 years old and means the world to me. The staff are taking great care of my dad. They are warm and friendly and build positive and trusting relationships with the patients and their families. I no longer worry about my dad because I know these kind and professionally competent staff are taking first class care of him. The staff helped my dad get into a routine and settled in. They treat everyone like family and are never too busy to stop and help whenever they see a need. My dad is much happier now that he has people around him that truly care and make him feel like he belongs. I cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work and commitment to their work. They love what they do and it shows. They are really making a huge difference in the quality of life for all of their residents. They are to be commended for the excellent manner and top quality service they are providing.
The staff at Aaron Cresy Care Home are very caring and thoughtful when it comes to their residents. They have kept me updated with any concerns or changes in my mum's care. They are warm and friendly and always on hand to assist.
Always found the staff and facilities to be of a very good standard and my mum is happy enough there.
Our experience has improved since my last review as there is evidence of much better organisation and communication is more forthcoming. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. My mum is very complimentary about them all.
Putting a loved one into care is one of the hardest decisions anyone has to make. The loving care and attention is given by Aaron Crest has helped immensely with this burden and I know from my families very frequent visits and what my relative tells me, that they are very well taken care.
Mum is happy due to the care and attention shown by the care staff, they relate to her on a day to day basis and I and involved in her care by being given up to date information each time I visit. Since moving to Aareon Crest Care Home mum's mood has lifted and she tells me she enjoys taking part in all the daily activities. I am extremely happy with all aspects of the home. The staff are to be congratulated for the care they give and the happy atmosphere at the home.
Have been here for a few months. Rooms, food, and all the staff are excellent. Staff have always got time to help me out, plus if I need to go into town for something, it's not a problem to them as they will always try to help you out as I suffer from memory loss. I have been in another care home but it's not a patch on this one. I would recommend this care home to anyone. Have discussed this with my social worker to suggest Aaron Crest Care Home for anyone in the future. Hope this helps.
I would thoroughly recommend this home. The staff are hardworking, patient, caring and friendly whatever time of day I or my daughter visit. My husband was admitted in March of this year initially as respite but when his condition of vascular dementia deteriorated he was admitted on a permanent basis and I cannot fault any of the care he has received from all the staff.
