View Full Details of Croston Park Nursing HomeMy mum came to Croston Park Nursing Home in October and she has settled in so well. All down to the caring staff in every aspect of the home. We have been made to feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Mum loves the activities and has made some new friends.
The care Mum has received since moving in has been excellent. All of the staff have taken their time to get to know her. All of her medical needs are carefully monitored and any concerns are relayed to us as next of kin. Mum loves joining in the activities, In particular arts and crafts, baking, flower arranging and listening to the entertainers. Mum now calls Croston Park home.
The care home is tastefully decorated well furnished warm and homely. The staff are very attentive and caring, providing an array of activities. Well done all.
My elderly aunt of 90 years is currently a resident at Croston Park Care Home have staff and management have played a massive part in helping aunty settle so well. Everyone ha been so kind and thoughtful going out of their way to create a true home from home environment.
My mum has been at Croston Park since early 2022 and has always received excellent care. The staff have always been kind, helpful and respectful of her needs. Recently, mum celebrated her 100th birthday and the staff went above and beyond their normal duties to ensure that this was a very happy and joyous event for both mum and the wider family. They allocated us a private room and decorated it with balloons etc. which we had for 2 separate parties that week. On her actual birthday the staff and residents made floral table decorations and cakes for a surprise tea party. A big thank you to all staff and residents at Croston Park.
My mother spent 2 years at Croston Park from 2022 to 2024 when, regrettably, some serious falls meant that she had to leave and go to another care home. Mum always received excellent care from the staff members and managers who showed great affection for her. Sadly, her dementia deteriorated quickly but mum always seemed happy with the level of care she received.
Care at Croston is a wonderful thing. Smiling faces from Summer til Spring. Homely serenity, like a bird of the wing. And a warmth of heart, to give you a zing!
My husband has received excellent care for the last three and a half months. He has had kind and respectful care at all times.
I could not be happier about my husband's care at Croston Park Nursing home. All the staff are unfailingly kind, cheerful, helpful and respectful towards the residents and their families. They went 'above and beyond' when I and my family wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday, providing space, furniture, tableware and decorations. They gave us every support and we cannot thank them enough. Well done to everyone.
Having been discharged from hospital early last April, I spent four weeks receiving respite care in the home. Consequently, my wife being a resident, I can speak of its attributes both as a resident and service user. I have nothing but praise for every aspect of the care the home provides. The staff, who seem to me to be very happy with their work, could not be more caring; they know each resident, his or her foibles and requirements, and ensure that everyone is dealt with respectfully. The food provided is of a very high standard and the accommodation is spotlessly clean. I need say no more in recommending the home to anyone seeking the services of a care home.
The people who looked after my dad were caring, hard-working and supportive. At times, these staff members did not seem to be fully supported, leading to high staff turnover and a feeling that key staff were "over busy". Many thanks for the care given to my dad over many years; I know it was a great comfort to him.
I've visited quite a few nursing homes and care homes. Croston Park is by far the most caring and compassionate. The staff are super and love their residents. The manager does a wonderful job and her team seems genuinely happy. The home is an example for others to follow.
Mum was only in the home for one month. In that time she and all family and friends were welcomed by all staff and treated with great respect. Mum came in for palliative care. Her room was perfect for her, looking out onto the church and lovely grounds. In her last three days, the whole staff went above and beyond to take great care of Mum and ourselves. They really care, with great respect, humour and compassion. I would not hesitate to recommend the home and the contact with the church. Thank you!
My mum was the happiest she had been in years at Croston Park Nursing Home, from the cleaners to the managers they are a family that allows yours to join them. The level of care and compassion is incredible, please know that your loved one will be in the safest of hands. There are no words to express our gratitude and thanks to them all.
Very satisfied.
Mum was in Croston Park during the lockdown, which was a challenging time. Communication was sometimes very difficult, although staff tried their best. There is a calm and gentle atmosphere, and the staff were always kind and caring. Mum's room was comfortable, and the lounge, garden and activity areas have improved significantly - I would say they are excellent. Thanks to all at Croston Park for the care they gave Mum.
Mum was moved into Croston Park Nursing Home following dreadful care in another home and also poor care during her time in hospital. As a result, she arrived at Croston Park with a number of issues. Sadly, Mum was only in Croston Park for two weeks before she died. Within that two weeks, Croston Park resolved all of the problems that she arrived with and during her stay, Mum put weight on because they placed her on a re-feeding programme. At Croston Park, she was treated with complete kindness and compassion by the staff and as best as they could in Mum's situation with dignity. It was clear to see Mum visibly improving with regard to her appearance as she gained weight and also that she was completely comfortable. I'd like to thank the manager and her team for making Mum's final two weeks as positive as they were for her, and for including her family in her care planning. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
Although for only a few days, the compassion and care that we received, both to the resident and those who sat kept vigil to the end of her life, was exemplary. It felt like being taken up into the loving arms of a family as we shared the saddest of journeys. The care my friend received was professional, respectful, never intrusive and above all compassionate. All needs were met, we wanted for nothing. Mere words cannot express our gratitude - bless you for all that you do to support those in need - residents and relatives. Excellent.
All the staff are caring and I was very happy with the care and compassion my mum received whilst being in Croston Park Nursing Home.
A great residential home. Very caring staff who always dealt with her with dignity. My mother was very happy to reside here. She had a lovely room which was always very tidy and clean when we visited. I would recommend this home to anyone.
