My grandma was here for 4 years of excellent care throughout. Residents are always very happy, well fed and have lots of activities. The family is allowed to visit at any time. Grandma was here through the Covid pandemic and the staff were very good and handled it extremely well.

After visiting many care homes I was fortunate to secure a place for my mum. She is in her twilight years with dementia so I had to feel confident she could be cared for in the same way that I had cared for her. I need not have worried! From the Manager at its helm and down through the team, everyone is polite, thoughtful, caring and conscientious. When visiting mum, the carers are knowledgeable about her and share information, good or bad which is so comforting. Menus on the wall show me what meals are served and the cleanliness is second to none. Our loved ones are entertained with professional singers etc and crafts are encouraged. Imagine my delight at seeing mum paint an Easter egg for the care home decoration. I feel truly supported in a way that I never imagined and am so grateful. Well done to all at the Lodge.

My Mum took a room at the Lodge at the end of December 2023. She has settled in wonderfully and always comments on how nice and caring the staff are towards her. I have always found the staff to be excellent and help in any way they can. It is such a joy to have Mum looked after so well.

My Mum has been a resident of Freckleton Lodge since January 2020. Mum, my brother and I can’t speak highly enough of the first-class care in a loving environment provided by the Manager and the team. All the carers are just wonderful as are the housekeeping and kitchen staff. Mum has been so happy there and it has made her latter years such quality ones. Lots of activities and a great programme of entertainment. When we visit Mum we’re made so welcome. Freckleton Lodge very much feels like home, not ‘a home’

As I call very frequently to see my auntie, the staff are always very friendly and very kind towards the residents. I cannot find fault with any aspects of Freckleton Lodge. Staff are excellent.

Freckleton Lodge is just so friendly and inclusive. All the staff are extremely caring and all know all the residents. There is so much going on for the residents to get involved in and things for them to look forward to. The whole ambience of the place is great with residents all interacting. I wish all care homes were like this. Thank you.

For me, this is the best dementia care home in the area by a distance. As soon as you walk in you can feel the happy atmosphere and the way the home is decorated stands it apart from others I’ve seen. The staff are fantastic and really care about each and every resident, and they go out of their way to ensure that their needs are met. There are lots of activities going on all year round and the imagination of the owners in terms of the variety of what they organise is fantastic.

Very caring and courteous staff. Always available to help and happy to do so. Loads of entertainment provided for the residents and family always welcome. Very clean and well presented with a safe and caring environment.

Freckleton Lodge is the most wonderful care home. They took such wonderful care of my mum who had Alzheimer's, they gave her over 2 years of care and love. My daughters have promised me if I need the care in the future, they will make sure I will live there as per my wishes. I can never thank them enough.

My mum lived at Freckleton Lodge for 2 and a half years. The staff were always very friendly and polite. This, along with the cleanliness of the home, made Freckleton Lodge a nice place to visit. Mum was cared for in the best way. Freckleton Lodge aided her to feel safe and secure, relaxed and happy. Mum spent her last days at Freckleton Lodge. The support from the care home was absolutely brilliant. They were so supportive to mum and ensured all of her needs were met. They also provided an unmeasurable amount of support to me and my brother at such a sad time. I have recommended this care home to friend and family for their loved ones.

Amazing friendly, fun place. Lots of activities going on which is great for the residents. They really care about the people they look after. Love the bright colour schemes. It is great peace of mind knowing mum is happy and safe. Well done Freckleton keep up the good work.

High-quality care home with friendly and efficient staff. The moment you walk in, you notice a pristine, clean environment with comfortable lounges and bedrooms. My 94-year-old Mum has been here now for 30 months and I cannot thank the management and staff enough for the love, care and attention toward her.

Friendly, polite and very helpful staff. The love and care offered by the staff is outstanding. The entertainment given is of a very good standard which is obviously enjoyed by many. It is good to watch some of the Facebook videos of the musical sessions which are held at Freckleton Lodge. The home is always clean and the grounds are well tended.

So happy with the care my grandma receives, always feels very homely. Events are fantastic. Grandma is always happy, always feel welcome when visiting with my daughter.

My brother has dementia and l am very pleased that he is being looked after by Freckleton Lodge, the staff are so friendly. They are always smiling and include all residents in a very caring manner. The home is always adding new things to stimulate the residents and frequently have people coming in to entertain them. The staff also arrange outings and walks. My brother seems very happy and they always make him laugh. This is a great place to stay

The home is friendly and welcoming. Residents move around between the beautifully decorated lounges and there is a feeling of freedom and friendliness throughout. The staff are always available and encouraging. My aunt is very happy staying in Freckleton Lodge. She loves being free to go out into the garden in the warm weather and enjoys all the activities that are arranged. The live music and outings are so stimulating. I can phone up and speak to her at any time and staff always find time to fetch her to the phone. Freckleton Lodge provides the sort of environment that I would hope will be available to me, if I ever need to go into care.

My aunt has been in Freckleton Lodge for 10 months. She is extremely happy and in her own words says the staff are lovely. Her room is cosy and the main rooms are beautifully decorated and stimulating. Recently a quiet reading area has been created and a few hens and tortoises introduced for the guests to help care for. I have lost track of all the activities and parties. There is a live band every week which involves singing and dancing. There has been a Halloween party, a switching on of the Christmas lights party and that's before we get to the main Christmas events! I think my auntie has done more varied activities in the home than she has done for years. Playing musical instruments and drawing. But all that would be of little value if the care was not up to standard. The care she receives is excellent. Staff take the time to sit with her when she gets a bit weepy and they are all so cheery and positive. I can feel confident that she is happy, safe and treated with dignity.

My Man has dementia. The staff at Freckleton Lodge are not like staff, they are like a family with the residents. They are always so positive, dedicated an enthusiastic. There are always activities and events taking place involving all the residents and their families. I can't praise them enough. I am so relieved to know my nan is in a great place with fantastic, caring and understanding staff. I can't praise them enough.

For me, this is the best dementia care home in the area by a distance.
