Hillview is always clean and tidy. The staff are warm and friendly and helpful. My grandma is well cared for and treated with dignity and respect

In the 19 years I have been at Hillview I have lots of staff come and go. The staff are brilliant and I feel like I am home from home. Thank you Hillview.

I visit Mum daily and she always seems content. She is always clean and tidy. Staff and management are very friendly and approachable, any problems are sorted sooner rather than later. Home is warm and welcoming.

My gran came in for respite at the beginning of September; she has now become permanent. I come in to see my gran a couple of times a week, and she seems happier in herself. The care staff are always kind and professional. I love how you have a resident as your meet and greet; he always welcomes me with a cheeky smile and hello.

I visit my aunt every week and the improvement from when she came in last year is amazing. Thank you so much to the care staff at Hillview.

In the short period my husband was in Hillview Care Home I was extremely satisfied. All the staff were very kind and caring to both my husband and myself.

Staff very caring. Dad had to come into Hillview Care Home due to his dementia and mobility issues Since he's been here he has put on weight and has regained strength in his legs. He couldn't work properly at first but now is using is frame well. The home is clean and well organised. He seems happy here. We are very pleased.

My husband has been in Hillview Care Home for nearly a month after his discharge from hospital. I and my family are impressed by the care he has received at the home. He settled down really well, there is always a good feeling when I visit all the staff are very helpful and easy to talk to.

My dad has made a massive improvement due to the staff at Hillview. All staff are polite and respectful to all in the home providing daily activities.

My brother went into Hillview Care Home in October. He was not eating and was very ill. He is dependent on alcohol. Whilst in Hillview the care he received was excellent. He started to eat and alcohol was monitored. When he came out he was well taking medication regularly, eating and really happy. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. It is home from home. He is now home and still making progress. Thanks to the care he received.

My dad has been a resident at Hillview since Nov 2022. The staff are lovely, very much like Dad is at home. I am made welcome on every visit no matter what time, my dad is so well cared for and I have no worries. Tonight I was shown a video of Dad singing and dancing, he had a lovely valentines afternoon. The staff work so hard they are a credit and should be rewarded for their care and patience, you can feel the warmth when you visit. Whoever reads this should reward these members of staff you are very lucky to have such a loyal hardworking team, the residents are happy, and well looked after. Thankyou.

The staff at Hillveiw Care Home were extremely caring and professional. My mother was always happy in her time there.

Hillview care home looked after my Mum from Jan 21 - June 22 after 6 months in hospital. Their care of Mum during COVID was very good with some outstanding carers improving her wellbeing over the first 12 months. In early 2022, a new management team took control with a different regime and many of the staff were clearly unhappy and leaving with agency staff filling in who didn't know Mum. In May 2021, they gave notice that they were removing nursing care as they deemed none of the residents needed it. My Mum was assessed by an independent NHS panel and proven to need nursing care. We had only 1 month to go through the turmoil of moving a fragile old lady to somewhere she could get the appropriate care and they removed nursing before she left. 8 weeks on, they haven't even moved Mum's specially made wheelchair to her new nursing home despite several requests. If you need care for a loved one, ask yourself whether these are the sort of people you would trust to look after them.

I attended the home every week to see my good friend and have been doing so for a few years now. I have seen the staff work under pressure but still extremely professional. I have only ever seen them treat the residents with dignity, kindness and respect and I would like to thank them all for their hard work. There has been some recent changes to the home on the management side and I feel the manager and deputy manager are very approachable.
