View Full Details of Hollymount Residential & Dementia Care CentreMy uncle always seems very happy and cared for when my sister and I visit. Today, we played a game of Bingo with him, and he won! There is always something going on for entertainment-wise, and the tea trolly with biscuits is usually passed around to his and our delight! The staff are all so very caring with all the residents, and the meals look great too.
Carers and staff show love and care to all residents. My sister is kept very clean, has really good meals and is really happy, and I am more than happy that she is being cared for.
The care that my mother received was second to none. The staff are wonderful and caring. The building is a bit dated but they are slowly renovating. The love and care from the staff makes up for that.
The staff are all amazing. They offer a wide range of activities and everyone I have spoken to who resides in the home has nothing but nice things to say. They celebrate all festive holidays and this is accompanied with delicious homemade food. They have an on-site hairdresser which I am told is amazing.
My mum moved into Hollymount a couple of months ago and I’ve found the home to be just right for my mum. The staff have been so lovely and patient with my mum's dementia. They all work hard to keep all the residents occupied and entertained. My mum hardly ate anything before moving into the home but thanks to the chef and lovely kitchen staff she’s eating really well. My mum's room is cosy and clean and she’s been very comfortable there. I can’t thank everyone enough at Hollymount for giving excellent care to my mum.
My mum as been a resident for around 2 years. On the whole the staff I engage with are approachable and helpful. They have family and resident meetings, where you can raise concerns and also appreciate all the hard work they do. I would recommend Hollymount.
Hollymount care home provides outstanding care and support for my father in his dementia journey. Hollymount is a welcoming and nurturing environment which responds effectively to Dad's changing needs.
My father had a fall which resulted in hospital admission. Not mobile enough to return home he was given 4 weeks in Hollymount to build him back up. My father arrived in a weak state both physically and mentally. Staff worked hard to gain his trust and by week four their relationship was mutually warm and caring. Humour played an important part in their daily routine too. My father is back walking with his frame and doing well. Thank you to all the staff.
Dad is always looked after by caring compassionate staff. He is happy there and loves the food. Staff provides lots of different entertainment for all residents. The home is lovely and clean light and airy. Dad has settled extremely well.
The care my mum received was fantastic. When she was on end of life she was treated with dignity and the staff really looked after my dad and myself. I cannot thank the staff enough for all the care they gave Mum it was really appreciated
My wife has been a resident of Hollymount Residential & Dementia Care Centre for some 5 years, initially suffering with moderate Dementia which as time has passed, has become much worse. During this period she has been looked after with great care, her needs have been attended to by a very helpful, kind and caring staff and I have no hesitation in recommending Hollymount Residential & Dementia Care Centre as an excellent establishment to anyone who needs their services.
Mum is in long-term care at Hollymount Residential & Dementia Care Centre and is suffering with long-term dementia. The care she receives is very good but unfortunately Mum can communicate any more. The activity programme keeps Mums mind occupied and the food is good and cooked on-site.
My wife has been in this care home for 14 months. I have only good comments about her care there. She is very happy there and is well looked after by caring staff who are well managed. Being 85 myself, it's good to know she is in safe hands. Her room is spacious, well presented and clean. Her clothes are kept in good condition, and she always looks so nice when I visit, which is often. The food and activities are brilliant. I have no complaints whatsoever about Hollymount.
I have found Hollymount a friendly caring home. Residents are treated like family and have regular activities to keep residents occupied and stimulated. The meals are excellent, my relative has always praised the meals, the staff are wonderful with the residents and should be proud of themselves for keeping the residents safe and continuing care throughout this very difficult 12 months.
Moving my dads care to Hollymount was the best decision I have made. Staff are so helpful, especially the manager. My dad loves the food, he always talks about the Chinese night and Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
For some time my Father had been living in a small flat on his own, his health and wellbeing had deteriorated over the last few years and although we tried to help him keep his independence we were very concerned after he had a number of falls at home and on occasion had been found wandering the streets alone late at night. He had been hospitalised for observations and finally came to stay at Hollymount! All I can say since he has been there, he looks so healthy and is being fed really well! The staff are fantastic and go the extra mile. The manager of Hollymount went out of her way on a number of occasions to help us as a family to see him and help my Dad to settle in, which has not been easy in these uncertain times. I feel this was the right thing to do, as we know he is safe now and hopefully soon we can visit more. Can't recommend Hollymount and the staff enough! Thank you.
My mum has been in Hollymount since the end of September 2019. She seemed to settle in quite quickly. Mum had issues with her mobility but Hollymount was fantastic in helping mum get some of her mobility back. All the staff are kind and compassionate towards all the residents and their families. I am confident that mum is safe and very well cared for. I ring every two days any time of the day or night, and I have always been made welcome to visit anytime before lockdown. During lockdown, there has been no direct visits but Hollymount have provided excellent visiting facilities so I can still see mum.
Very pleased with Mum's care and support, with lack of mobility and day to day tasks. Staff are patient and treat Mum with respect.
My husband has been in Hollymount since the end of September. It has taken a while to get him settled with medication. All the staff, from the owners to the cleaners are kind and compassionate towards all the residents and their families. I know my husband is safe and very well cared for. I can ring any time of the day or night, and I am always welcome to visit.
The management and staff are very friendly and helpful, always help with any problems.
