View Full Details of Farthings Nursing HomeFrom the moment my wife was admitted to The Farthings she was treated with respect, love, compassion and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble from all the staff, not only for my wife which was paramount, but also for my family. We were always welcomed with open arms with exceptional care love and understanding. The manager and her team truly go the extra mile in every respect, which made a difficult time so much easier. Exceptional people, first class facilities and, in my opinion, a leading example of how a nursing home should be managed.
My father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and as a nurse myself, had always maintained that I would nurse him at home in his final days, unfortunately, I was unable to do this, and the social services in Blackpool were able to find my dad a place in this wonderful home. The staff, deputy manager and manager were amazing, their care I could not fault no matter what was asked of them they rose to the challenge. They not only care for dad but also his relatives who had gathered from all over the country, we stayed for a number of nights and they fed us and we were offered a never ending amount of fluids. Sadly my dad passed away, I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone looking for a care home, we can never thank them all enough. They all work so hard to ensure that all residents get the individualised care they deserve. You should all be very proud of what you have achieved. Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart.
