View Full Details of Benton HouseI cannot find enough words to express how wonderful all the staff at Benton House are. They gave alot of care and compassion to my dad throughout the whole of his 2-year stay. They kept me updated on everything and even made me feel so very welcome whenever I visited, particularly in the last few days of Dad's passing. One member of staff, in particular, rang me regularly whenever needed, and the nurses and my dad were loved by all there. Thank you so so much for taking my dad under your wing. I feel blessed that my dad was placed there, and in my opinion, there is no better care home than Benton. I fully recommend this care home. Thank you, Benton, from the bottom of my heart!
My dad has been a resident for over three years at Benton House, he is well looked after by the wonderful staff. They always contact me when dad has falls or any other issues. I am now at a stage where my mum is in need of 24-hour care and when phoning Benton House and speaking to the manager, this has helped make this hard decision an easy one has Benton House is the place for my mum. The manager was so kind and understanding and reassuring that I wouldn't want my mum to be anywhere else. The Benton House manager and staff are excellent support not only to my dad and hopefully soon to be my mum but to the family as well. Over the past few years, we have cried and laughed together which has helped us through. Thank you Benton House. I would highly recommend Benton House to anyone looking for a care home.
Would not recommend this care to anyone. Very bad. No equipment used. Dietary needs not met. Had to ask for ambulance assistance myself. Never seen anything like this in my life. Please don't place loved ones here.

This care home provides a lack of care and a lack of appropriate equipment to their residents. I placed my grandmother in respite for 1 week, on the day she was due to come home she passed away. The manager had previously advised she was fine, yet failed to report a number of issues including a fall. They state they are a specialist Alzheimers home yet treat them with a lack of care or understanding for the disease. They also lost most of her property and have no sympathy for their actions at all. Do not put your loved one in this accommodation.
My mum was a resident at Benton House from November 2016 till her passing in December 2017. The care she received was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who treated her with respect and loving care, making her feel loved. The staff were always friendly and chatty to my self and other family members, making us all feel that we made the right decision leaving the most important lady in our lives in their care, I cannot fault this home at all and I would highly recommend anyone who has the hard decision of finding a care home for a loved one, to have a look here. My mum was always singing and always happy.
My husband has Parkinson's disease and dementia. I do feel that Benton House is the best place for him to be since I could no longer manage to meet his needs at home. It is clean and comfortable. The residents are well fed and looked after and the staff are very kind and patient with them. My husband seems fairly settled and I visit most days and am always made welcome by the staff.
