Our family has just celebrated Mum's 100th Birthday with a party at Laureate Court - a truly magical day so much razzanatazz, love, smiles, cards, lovely food good wishes & so much care. Mum probably had one of the best days of her life & it was a joy to watch her loving it all. L.C staff are special for their kindness, compassion & professionalism. Their sense of fun made mums b'day such an amazing day. Mum seems so relaxed, content & happy all due to all the staffs constant care, hard work & dedication. Mum feels she belongs in a friendly community where she is safe & happy. Thank you, thank you thank you.
Can we just express how much we appreciate you all and how much love you've shown our nanna (mum, wife, and great nannan) nanna came in for 2 weeks respite and you have gone above and beyond for her, when we've rang you with our concerns you have immediately reassured us and gone to assist nannan. All workers we have interacted with have been so beautiful and supportive. You are all doing the most amazing job and should be so proud of yourselves. Thank you so much. Thank you for allowing us time as a family to come to terms with everything. Your staff are amazing and deserve the world. So much love to you all.
I would just like to say how wonderful the staff at Laureate Court are. My mum passed away at Laurreat Court. We could not wish for better care and love that they showed my mum. It was 10 stars - above and beyond for us. She passed on 14th December 2024. She loved it. They had lots of fun going on every day with the staff, including the manager. The manager and her team are wonderful.
Mum joined Laureate Court in December, a tough decision for us as a family, but I should never have worried. you have actually given my mum a totally new life, our old mum coming back, she's so happy, kept busy and has made lovely friendships with service users and staff. All staff work tirelessly making it a cosy, active and loving home. I love the updates of her dancing and being involved in the activities. Staff make family welcome and involved. I can now be a daughter again to mum and enjoy one another's company instead of her carer. A million thank yous would never be enough for how grateful I am to you and your amazing staff.
Dad has been in Laureate Court since October 2024. The care is given by every member of staff is excellent. They treat everyone, relatives included with great care and respect. Since Dad has been in the care home he has become his old self. To quote my daughter at Christmas "We've got bragdad back". Thanks for everything that you do, it means so much to us as a family.
My 92-year-old mum has been here for about 2 months and I couldn't be happier with the care she received. I feel she is really looked after. From my experience, all the staff care about the residents - it's not just a job. She knows she is safe now.
My mum arrived at Laureate court feeling anxious and uncertain, having been at a very low point with her dementia. I cannot praise the management and care staff enough for all that they have done for her. She is very settled, happy and social, she has found her home. Helping to join the daily exercise classes, all the staff are helpful and approachable both with residents and myself. This home exceeds any expectations I had.
My wife has been a resident at Laureate Court Care Home for 7 years. It was her birthday in December and what a super celebration we all had in the company of her loving family who want to say a big thank you to all the staff at Laureate Court. The staff provided and generated a lovely atmosphere with a birthday cake and refreshments and decorated the room with birthday banners and photographs. Your commitment to my wife's care and well-being is very reassuring to me and our family once again thank you to all of you for all your hard work.
The staff and management have been very welcoming from day one when my husband moved in. The staff are caring, friendly and helpful. The meals are very good and the catering staff are very obliging. Activities are provided on a daily basis and residents are kept stimulated and entertained. The building is clean and well-maintained with lovely grounds for residents.
My Mum has been a resident since October 2023 and the staff were wonderful with settling her in. All the staff from the handyman, catering staff, cleaners, admin, carers and managers are always genuinely friendly, approachable and very kind. They all have such a lovely rapport with my Mum. The home is beautifully maintained and is exceptionally clean, fresh and airy. My Mum constantly tells me how lovely all the staff are and they always make a fuss of her and she them, which results in lots of smiles. I come away always feeling blessed that she is safe, respected and listened to.
Laureate Court Care Home was a lifesaver for me due to caring for my auntie and she came for respite first, then the second time in she ended up being a full-time resident. From the cleanliness of the home to laundry and cleaning, the staff, nurses, activities, managers and kitchen staff are excellent, even the handyman, everything and everyone does their best for you. My auntie has settled lovely and enjoys staying. I would give the home 5/5 in everything. Lovely place and I looked at many before this one and this is the best.
Our experience is a very nice, clean and well-run home, all the staff are once and friendly. The residents are well looked after and well cared for, in my view I have no complaints at all, hats off to all the staff at the home, all are very helpful and caring.
My grandmother is in this care home, she has received excellent care and she has never been as happy. I know she is safe and well cared for and the food and care you give to each and every one of your residents is outstanding. You go to great lengths to see that they are entertained and cared for and I can't thank you enough for all you do.
My mum unfortunately had illnesses which meant she had to be placed in a care home. After visiting a few care homes in Rotherham our family decided that Laureate Court would be the most appropriate. It was lovely to go into a care home where you were greeted by professional staff and made to feel welcome. The staff are amazing and some go above and beyond. Mum loves the singing and the various activities that are held for the residents and the day trips out, which have been very important. The food is very good lots of choice throughout the week and on the day, drinks and snacks are always available and encouragement for hydration. There is a hairdresser who visits the care home once a week and this is a lovely opportunity for mum to feel special. The staff make sure Mum is cared for and her thoughts are taken into consideration. We are very grateful for all the support and care given and this helps Dad with any anxiety he feels when leaving Mum on an evening. Thank you to all involved.
My mother-in-law unfortunately was in the care of Laureate Court Care Home only for a very short time until she passed away. The staff were so caring, they looked after her with love and respect. Even though she was bed-bound they made sure she was dressed, her hairdo and perfume on. They had listened to how I spoke about how she was always conscious never to go anywhere without looking the lady she was. I could go on and on with the compliments but I have run out of space. Many thanks to everyone in the nursing side.
So pleasantly surprised on my first visit. The home was immaculate and welcoming, all nicely trimmed up for Easter. The staff were a credit to the home. I felt at ease knowing how well looked after our relative is.
It was my first visit to this home. My sister's room was clean and well equipped. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. When I visited, the local GP made a video visit with my sister, which I found reassuring. Overall, a good first visit.
I live in Perth, Australia and have just visited my mum who is a new resident of Laurette Court. Before I even visited I knew it was a friendly, caring place from when I telephoned. It is fantastic. My mum is happy here, and extremely well cared for. The food is brilliant and the activities and chance to chat to many people is awesome. My mind is at rest knowing my mum is so happy.
Any time I have visited my sister at Laureate, I have been impressed by how at ease she is and how pleasant the carers are and all the other staff. Thank you.
